It was sad enough to see Captain Lee reveal his loss to Francesca. I loathe that Bravo made it so that he also had to discuss it with these horrible people, the King of Timeshare Ripoffs and his Queen of Gross Consumerism.

As someone said above, the parenting on display in the documentary about them was “neglectful” to put it kindly. I did not want to see Captain Lee commiserating with these no-class garbage people and having his pain brought to the surface. I feel for him, as he said it is still in the raw early stages.

Bravo should not have even brought this trash family aboard. They are not entertaining and I just don’t care about their suffering as I watch them live to excess and make remarks about the “poor people“. They did nothing to stop  the younger boys (sons? grandsons?) from heavy drinking. Disgusting. All the things that Rachel said about that previous charter group and their preference sheet filled with excessive demands? She should have saved for these people who actually deserve it.

I cannot stomach these people and didn't want to see them on.  In the documentary, they were too stupid and careless to remember to feed some of their pets.  Pets who were left to suffer, starve and die in their cages. This is who they are.

Ha, me too! Especially after the first victim got carted off and didn't return!

  3. I felt so sad watching Malena break down, but I get it.  I cannot imagine what a pot boiler this is and for ten weeks, especially for such young women.  I remember not getting an amazing job I had made it through several interviews for, I was devastated and cried my face off (with a 6 pack of wine coolers!). I cannot imagine being in a program for TEN weeks for something this monumental --and being cut at the very last minute though.  Heartbreaking for Malena and Lily (her cut made no sense to me).

Anyway, sad that Lacey (PERFECTION) and Kashara are retiring next year.  The two of them are just so fun to watch. As I have seen mentioned on here, I think it's interesting that almost half of the team this year is rookies.  I think being a DCC has lost its shine judging by how things have been going, especially this past season with the Victoria debacle but especially the Tara cut (I could see retiring after 4, 5 years like Lacey and Kashara though). My twin 13 year olds watch this show with us and used to like Kelli but now refer to her as 'The Kraken'. And this is not meant to be mean, but I wish Kraken would choose some lower heeled shoes.  It's painful to watch her forward stomping across the dance floor at the end of each show (this is how I would also walk in heels so I choose not to wear them).

Also, Kelli was so much nicer and complimentary to VK than to Dayton.  Praising her and being rude to Dayton.  Just very disappointing since Kelli had known both girls their whole life.

Yes! I had stuck up for Victoria on here early on--until Dayton was cut and I finally saw the light.  Dayton was amazing compared to Victoria! Looks, style and potential ability.  It seemed like what she had to work on was extremely minor compared to Victoria and that she would have been great. I watch this show with my husband and teen daughters and they also think this show has gone off the rails this season. I would rather see more of Judi and some of the veterans making decisions rather than Kelli.

  5. Victoria, please switch to Trish McEvoy tubular mascara, I've worn it during marathons and it doesn't budge.  I felt like I was watching an SNL skit with that horrific mascara scene.  So overly dramatic and embarrassing!

  6. I liked how Taylor came in and brought the interview subject up herself during the first office visit and thought that showed potential.  She was obviously (very) rattled when they brought her in, yet still much more articulate than Victoria.  Not sure how old Taylor is, but she seems very young and maybe sheltered.  They should have paired her with one of the more articulate veterans, she seemed eager to learn. It's a joke how she was cut and not Victoria!

I agree that Erin didn't have what it takes last year and that this year she is totally rocking it. So why the heck isn't that a major story line on the show? I'd love to know what she did to prepare for tryouts this year, her fitness regimen, what dance classes she took, etc. I guess hard work and dedication aren't as interesting as watching girls forget choreography and get called into the office for the same thing over and over.

Yes, this would make the show so much better!

I think it’s because every week they seem to talk about cutting the same girls, but then don’t make decisions? I was shocked the didn’t cut Kristen last week, they’ve been having the same conversation for weeks now.

I'm so sick of listening to Malena say the same thing over and over each week.  I liked her at first but now I'm just sick of hearing her talk. I wish they would let us get to know some of the ones who actually do make the team, but it's usually the same people blathering on. I guess they threw us a bone last week allowing us to hear from Ashlee.

I was trying to get away with not saying that her touching the girls on their breasts gives me a sexual vibe. That's why I said it makes me uncomfortable, not that I thought she was physically hurting the girls. Maybe it's just me. I would be more comfortable with her positioning their arms and legs and heads, etc. rather than just grabbing and shoving at their breasts. And if the mods want to block this post after you read it, I'm fine with that. I didn't really want to come right out and say it.

    I've thought that too.

I couldn’t understand why Kelli didn’t cut her and why she allowed Jenna to stay as well.

I agree.  I thought it cheapened the high standards they claim to have.  Underaged drinking, fraternizing with players? Pretty bad.  I would have canned Jenna first for being such a poor role model.

  11. If I were Madeline and got called in a third time I would grab my stuff and just leave.  It would be priceless to have Kelli and Judi just waiting and waiting to pounce on her in the office and to see Kitti's reaction later.  Actually, I would have gotten up and left during the second office tear down. How many times can you get into trouble for the same thing you were already punished for? No thank you working for people like that.

And Miranda a grandma? LOL please. This show is ridiculous at times.

Sun damage. You see it a lot with women of her generation... they just didn’t know how bad the sun was. I don’t think she looks terrible but definitely older than her age. Shelly is smokin!

This is me! Physically I am in the best shape of my life thanks to my love for running and weightlifting..however my décolletage and face are ruined thanks to my constant sun exposure when I was younger.  We all knew the risks, but I didn't care. I'll be feeling great about myself after a hard run then my day will be ruined after being given a senior discount (am only 50 and getting those the past 3+ years). I had my kids at 38 and people used to think I was much younger. A combo of sun and kid stress I guess.

  13. I finally got to watch last week's episode last night.  Where to begin?? ((Dayton)) that was heartbreaking.  I am even more proud of her for dusting herself off and leaving town for the cruise ship auditions right away.  It's not easy to pull yourself out of heartbreak, and quickly at that. She's a strong girl. Great job ShellyB!

More and more I am loving Judi this season.  It's what she doesn't say.  She was practically hiding during Dayton's cut, then just watching her facial reactions during the other things. Unreal how Victoria gets a nutritionist and Kelli is told by Kitty that V should get some respect.  Where was Dayton's respect? Or Tara's for being a veteran? Watching Tara also bothered me--is this girl ok? She seems to have changed drastically in a short time.  The fact that she was smiling during all of that made me worry more about her, even though I know she is supposed to. It reminded me a bit of the throw back Kaitlyn Legrand episode. I know they cannot be the psychiatrist for all of these girls but how about a little sympathetic 'are you ok?' instead of being so mean.  Kaitlyn and Tara were not random people at auditions, they were veterans of the organization.  All of those syrupy talks they give about the Cowboys organization being a family is just words.  You don't treat people who've worked for you 1+ years for you like that. But Victoria gets a mentor.  SMH

Dayton is a class act. Kelli is right, she just needs more time, she'll be an amazing DCC in the near future. Team Dayton all the way.

Dayton will be too busy traveling the world-- DCC's loss for sure!

OT, but I just watched the throwback episode with Kaitlin Legrand.  I follow this page off and and may have missed this-the episode with Kaitlin Legrand, does anyone know if that poor girl is ok?  I thought Kelli was very harsh and uncaring during her cut.  It was really hard to watch someone who was obviously going through something horrible just be meanly kicked out.  Then Kelli is all happy announcing the team right after.  Where is the care for these girls? I understand having to cut her but it was the way it was done.  They were much kinder with  Courtney C. Maybe I missed something but that girl looked like she needed help, I hope she's ok.

I think for a while now most girls have a more...young? vibe. I mean they are the same age as previous squads, but they used to look really sexy and more mature, while most girls now look young/fresh (Maddie, even jenna and Lacey) and more girl-next-door (like Danielle). I doubt it’s due to the #metoo movement though.

I definitely see this. I think Dayton really has that girl next door look, she's adorable.

I disagree. Kelli made it abundantly clear when talking with Judy that she basically wanted Holly gone - she essentially regreted not cutting her then and there. Kelli seems the sort of boss that would be the sort to stick to her word - ie let Holly stay - but also very much let that ice remain super thin and leap upon the tiniest of things as an excuse to be able to carry out what she really wanted, cutting Holly. she literally said there was no way for HHolly to gain back her trust, so personally, I don't believe there was any way to make that ice thicker, sticking to the letter of the contract or not.  Kelli wanted her gone. I genuinely believe Holly was given the option - you resign by choice or you get cut sooner or later.

she did. personally, given how much they went on in the talk about how she utterly failed as a leader, I was surprised she was allowed to remain GL. either there was seriously limited options as to who to replace her or she somehow managed to convince them to let her stay, but given that next week it seems she whinging about being punished, Im surprised she wasn't demoted then. take your punishment like a woman and shut up, keep your head down and stay out of the line of fire.  in the promo she looked like a whining brat, all woe is me, boohoo. i didn't like her much to start but that just really turned me off her

I so agree that Jenna utterly failed as a leader and should not have retained her GL position. Yes, Holly is an adult, just Jenna is a four years older team leader and essentially Holly's boss.  To party with an underage underling is terrible leadership.  I would have cut Jenna.

some mothers don't care if they think it'll get their daughters famous/married/rich/other

So true and very sad. Nicole Brown Simpson comes to mind.

I completely believe this. Last night Holly's mom posted on Instragram "If the words don't add up, its usually because the truth wasn't included in the equation". Well, let's see....there are pictures that Holly posted proving that she was with players and she admitted it at the end of her last episode and said it was fun.  Her mother is still trying to make it seem like Holly did nothing wrong. This behavior will totally backfire. Holly needs to take accountability, and I think she would have had her mother not treated her like a victim.

Holly's mom should be more concerned with her daughter 'talking to' such a sketchy guy.

The season isn't too far along; would they/have they ever cut some one during the season and brought another girl in?

I have a weird recollection where they cut someone but then brought them back to training camp? Does anyone else recall this?

Long time lurker, love this thread! I'm sad that Brennan got cut, I think she would have been a great representative for the team and only continued to get better.  I think Kalyssa and Lauren will be fantastic though! Kalyssa looked like she could have been placed on the team right from the beginning and Lauren just dazzles--a nurse and show group, talk about an accomplished person. As for Holly, she's young.  A hard lesson to learn but I can't imagine navigating that world at 18, 20...  it makes me cringe to think of some of the mistakes I made in my 20's.
