Just catching up with this season. Liberty is my favorite type of patient on this show. A normal person with a natural deformity, cleft palate and nose issues. And her results were the best; she feels pretty just looking more normal, and she wanted to be more confident in her 30s. And to breathe better.

The twins were ridiculous. The fitness model who walked again after a car accident was somewhere in the middle.

That is my favorite patient, too. When someone was born with a problem or was in an accident and needs help to look normal again. Those are the gratifying stories.

I have no sympathy for the wackos that come on the show. One woman was into COS Play had white hair, purple skin, a plastic jewel glued to the center of her chest and humongous boobs. She said she wanted to get bigger boobs to be noticed. If people don't notice her yet, going bigger isn't going to do it. Perhaps fake horns on the side of her head. I think her real motive to be on the show is to get publicity, she sells herself and wanted more exposure.

  2. There are so many fantastic lines.

Someone comments about Sherri's perfume. She says for $100 she could buy enough to drown herself. Niles turns to Frasier, "I've got $60".

I love this topic. All my favorites at a glance. I've been laughing so hard.

The best part about it coming back on Cozi now is it's been a long time since I've seen it so a lot of stuff feels new (although looking forward to the parts I do remember, especially the no-dialogue Niles Gets Read for a Date where he passes out every time he looks at his finger).

Last night Niles had a sack of flour as a pretend baby to see what fatherhood was like - when he shows up to the apartment and it's all scorched and taped together.

"I was doing my morning Tai-Chi and accidentally kicked it into the Koi pond.  I put it near the fireplace to dry and it got a little....singed.  To be fair a real baby would have cried before it burst into flames".

When Eddie starts clawing at the flour sack on the couch, Daphne says "that dingo's got your baby:.

As with the LAPD a probationary firefighter in LACo FD is a "Boot". Our Boot here was a stray dog which was adopted by Station 51, as such in a probationary status before the crews decided to keep him rather than call Animal Control.

Thank you for the explanation. I was feeling sorry for the little guy not having a proper name but I can see now how they got his name.

So I got drawn into watching this on USA, presently airing season six, and I know I'll get all ragey when it gets to the end of the season, but seeing Tony makes me miss him ALL THE MORE. Weatherly leaving really left a BIG hole for me. It's not the same show. And many here know how much I disliked Ziva, but damned if the show wasn't better with her too! MINUS all that emasculating Tony and forced romance, of course.

HUGE hole! This isn't the same show, at least not for me. Too many new characters plus I think Bishop was a mistake. Abby, Tim, Ducky, Jimmy are mostly side characters and window dressing now. I'm not a regular watcher now.

My UO:  I'm not really a fan of McGee.  To be more specific, I think I'm not a fan of the actor playing McGee. I don't think he's a strong enough actor when playing against the other leads, which means I don't really buy anything the McGee character is selling in any episode.  I'm sure the actor is a lovely person, but he has always been a weak link for me on this show.

McGee started out as the babyfaced probie. That part didn't seem much of a stretch in the beginning for any actor so Sean Murray fit right in. Later, when they gave McGee more of a life it didn't ring true for me. His dad was an admiral, he was a writer, his sister got in trouble and Tim was hiding that from the team. Sean was rather bland for the grown up McGee.

I also don't like the name McGee. It's too close to Gibbs with the capital G and short name, just my opinion.

I don't like Bishop. She's totally wrong for the team. Everything becomes about her.

"Backscratcher of death" Ha! Doug does have a way with words. They had a good batch of contestants tonight,  I'd like to see any of them return in the future. So why no new episode next week, huh History Channel? What's with that?

For such a serious show they can be really funny at times. I love it when the judges start talking about one of the forgetestants "do you think he will remember he's got a tool for that?... I guess not" And there was the forgetestant who sounded like and dressed like David Baker. IIRC it was Wil who suggested calling him up to be David's stand-in when David couldn't make it. These guys are funny.
