  1. Are we still sticking to Kalani saying she was nearly 30 before she gave in and lost her virginity to this sweet, precious, albeit very simple man? I'm not buying it. What exactly was she waiting on? Had Asuelo not come along, would she have continued waiting patiently to lose her virginity?

I'm sorry but Asuelo just isn't a man that I look at and think "man this hunk of a man makes my loins burn" 🤷

I think Eric isn't 40 and Kalani wasn't a virgin for quite some time. They are both lying liars.

I make that jump because of experiences that I have had in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and South Carolina with self identified Christians who think that gay marriage is wrong, black people aren't as capable, everyone should speak English and nothing should be printed in other languages, Halloween is pagan, etc. However you are exactly right that I shouldn't lump everyone into the same category. Thank you for checking me as I a trying to be less of an asshat each day.

I'm not a gambler but if I were, I would bet the house you are right on the money with your assumption of them being self proclaimed Christians.

Just from looking, I'd also bet everyone sitting at that table, aside from Fernanda, are "Christians"

  3. Unfortunately being from the south, actually neighbor of NC, I don't think that conversation was scripted at all. That is the opinion of a lot of ppl from here and that's fine, everyone is entitled to their opinion and support of Trump and his wall, but that just wasn't the time or place to discuss any of that.

Buying her breasts has nothing to do with letting his friends be assholes to her.

I think he  has a genuine physical issue. I noticed his posture and the way he moves and it seems he's either in some sort of pain or he has some joint issues or both. It was rather painful to watch him walking the streets.

So it seems to me as well, that's why I wanted to preface my comment because he may genuinely have an issue. Whatever it is, he needs to ix-nay the unning-ray, it is doing him no favors.

  5. Frozendiva, you just brought up a good point, these people are so quick to hop, skip and jump on a plane and fly all over the world to meet their "true love" but that is so scary to me! At least here in the US you are on your own home turf, if you act a fool, yeah, there's consequences, but you are on your own soil, so to speak. On the other hand, going to say Lagos Nigeria and acting a fool the way Angela did is very reckless and dangerous. Jails and/or prisons abroad are different than here!

You can't just go to another part of the world and act all entitled like here at home. SMH these people are just plum crazy!

  6. Yes it's a cultural thing. I was married to a latino and every time we went to his family's I told him they always force food and drink on me. Of course they didn't but that's what it felt like to me. They bring the drinks out to you right after you get there and then I would be sitting there holding an unopened drink the entire time because I wasn't thirsty.

On the other hand they probably thought I was a bitch because I didn't offer anything when they came to our house but we don't typically do that in the US.
