If the nutritionist is considered a doctor, the Dallas Cowboys, the Cheerleader's leader, nor Jesus Christ himself has no right to consult with the nutritionist......HIPAA puts the kibosh on that shit.

I am wondering if the cheerleaders have to sign a waiver for HIPPA, so the doctors, etc. can talk with Kelli... It seems like this would be the case...

If VK has a medical condition - ie thyroid - going to a nutritionist won't help.  And if she has been struggling with weight, changing her diet, working out and dancing non stop, she may be so frustrated that she just didn't want to go to the nutritionist.  Especially if she isn't sure what is going on and then the stress of trying to make the team.

I totally get this thought, but it's good to still go. I have been to several due to health issues. A doctor has required it, so I go. I For the most part, though, I have not learned much to help my health. I still go and I try to keep an open mind. And to tell the truth, I've learned a thing or two.

If Kelli tells you to go to a nutritionist and  DCC means so much to you, go to the nutritionist!! Especially since she went through that whole thing in that puff piece about working extra time with a trainer since her mom had weight issues. If you really want DCC like you say, wouldn't you stand on one foot, do the hula while yodeling, water ski while singing Kum ba ya or whatever?

It's been years, so I may be misremembering, but was it a DCC nutritionist who told the girls that carbonation gives you cellulite?

Yes, I am remembering that as well!! At least it was someone they contracted with. She also did house calls, for lack of a better word. She dropped in on several dccs (not just tcc's if i recall) at their home and raided their refrigerators. She threw away all the stuff that was unhealthy (i have slept since then so I could be wrong in exact details)

Some of my favorite DCC's have "slipped under the radar" in that the weren't really focused on at all on MTT but turned out to be great performers. Lauren Williams and Emma Mary come to mind. Does anyone have any others??

Michelle Keys in my opinion. I just finished season 3 (when she was a rookie) and she didn't get much screen time at all...

Ive had several dance students whose parents belong to the Church of Latter Day Saints. When we celebrate birthdays, they usually leave the room. No holidays either... I’ve been asked not to use Thriller in October as it could represent Halloween. No Christmas music or any other representation of holidays.

Ultimately, I had to ask them to try to see these songs as just ordinary songs and I agreed to treat their “holiday treats” as rewards for doing well in class. Those students got the treat, but I didn’t wrap it in the holiday paper- I just used regular paper for them.

That's strange. I was LDS at one point and we celebrated holidays and birthdays. Could you be thinking Jehovah's Witness perchance?

Coffee and tea are not permitted. Herbal teas are ok, though... Soda is a bit more murky... You can but some choose not to. I definitely know people who drink  sodas and they are in good standing within their church.

Does anyone remember the most girls cut in one night of training camp? I seem to remember there were 4 cut one year on the same night.

I remember 4 as well.... The one I'm remembering was the last cut night before announcing the squad I believe? I don't remember the season, but Courtney was one of them I believe? I don't remember more than that offhand...

Here's something I dreamed up while watching previous seasons and seeing girls return.  Who are the girls who auditioned multiple years, which seasons did they audition, and how far did they make it (pre-lims, semis, Finals, Training Camp or made the team)?  There are likely many of these girls like Meaghan F., Sunni Cranfill, Meredith Oden, and the like so let's try to keep it to the girls who auditioned multiple years since the show has been on.

Kalli Fullerton -- season 1 and 6. She made it to training camp both times. Madeline Massingil  - season 9 (training camp) and season 10 - made team.

I think Kalli had to get a larger size in season 6. Kyndall's uniform from the previous season still had all the stars on it when she tried in on the 2nd time in TC.  I wonder if there was ever a TCC who came back to TC after being cut and did not fit into her uniform from the pervious season..

Yeah, now that you mention it, you are right... I know they had still kept it and she tried it on, but she had put a little bit of weight on..

I am not sure if there was or not.... If they didn't fit their outfit in the next year (especially if they are too large for the uniform), i could imagine that would be a pretty quick way to be cut...

    I remember it being Kendall.

I remember this too... I also seem to remember Kali Fullerton I believe? She couldn't believe her uniform was kept between season 1 and a later season (6ish maybe?)

    Those tank tops are dreadful.

I keep expecting a cape to come out from behind them... It so reads super hero to me (in a cheesy sense).

I didn't think she would come back.  Medical school is tough enough and demands a lot of the people involved.  However, from the things we've seen and heard, Kelli and Judy demand just as much, if not more, and seemingly expect the girls to drop everything in order to put DCC first.  Cersten would burn out and burn up if she tried to do both.

For some reason, I remember them discussing that she wouldn't come back in her sit down with them at the beginning of last season. I could be totally mistaken though.

Right?! Did I hallucinate the last 10 episodes? They have repeatedly said her kicks are low but this episode they're all like, "We have no notes saying your kicks are bad!". Notes from who? Anthony Ramos? The hairdresser judge? The janitor? Because I'm pretty sure the people whose opinions matter, like Kitty for example, would have notes that say her kicks do indeed suck.

And this was her issue way back when she was in training camp before. Her kicks were terrible... It just didnt seem to have changed that much...

Agreed. The show told us when veteran Chelsea was cut/fired, it was for bad dancing and her "toxic" attitude. Or when veteran Hannah was cut, it was for weight gain and bad dancing. Both of those cuts were also during training camp just as Erica's was. Isn't that considered "disclosing why they were fired"?

It just bothers me so much that they edited her out like she didn't even exist.

It can't be a privacy issue (to protect Erica, or show her respect), because they had no problem showcasing Caitlin LeGrands major issues, or even when Kelli dramatically talked about Courtney Cook's resignation for whatever mysterious drama was going on in her life. It is baffling why they didn't even acknowledge Erica's departure. *Especially* if it was just an injury.

Exactly!!! If it was just an injury (and honestly, i think that's what they could have gone with that would be hard to refute), i think it would have been so much better than to just cut her out. Her face was plastered on a wall of the studio. She was in initial advertisements. For someone so visible, the fact they believe that fans won't be upset is amazing to me. I just think it wasn't  the best business decision...

This is very interesting and one of the first times her lack of screen time has made sense.

I kinda get that, but they show why everyone else is terminated... Whether it is weight, they don't dance with the DCC style, etc. There were definitely other cuts that have been shown in the past that are also due to insubordination and such.

It’s very weird they didn’t use the injury as a reason. It was as legit a reason as any to explain her absence and let everyone  save face.

This!! Exactly this! I have been wondering this since the beginning of the Erica thing... I just simply don't get it.

  17. As far as Canton, they mentioned a couple of times that Lacey and Jinelle are the two gls that haven't led before in a game... Of course, if they were saying new gls, they would say Kashara too... I know they're trying to act like Kashara was always gl, but it seems like a bit of an oversight.

Her show bombed after two seasons on CMT. I think she still had a contract with CMT when she was ask to be a judge and mentor. She was on the another CMT show last year for one season.  I do not know if the show was renewed or they decided not to ask her to come back. The one scene with Judy saying Keyra was not giving her it her best and Melissa saying something about it was to me a shut up Melissa moment. Judy has years of experience and the only reason why you are there was because you left the team after two years, was dumped on national television, won some D Celebrity dance reality television show, your show on CMT bombed, and CMT asked you to be a judge and a mentor. I would rather have Cassie and Tina come back to watch and make their comments about the girls' skills than Melissa the Mentor any day of the week.

I thought Kelli's assistant said a few of the girls said Meagan F. was not being social at the pool party. CMT needs to get seasons one and two available to download and watch on I-tunes so we can rewatch the one scene. Work with us CMT, work with us.

Season 1 and 2 are available to stream on the CMT website if you have CMT on your cable plan. They weren't for awhile. I'm so glad they're back!! :)
