I hope the twins show the same amount of respect to their mother that they showed Matt when he published the children's book about his dog. I realize there's somewhat of a pattern to my comments as of late; I'm irritated that the boys appear to be showing the same amounts of dismissal and even disdain toward Amy that Matt has always shown.

Matt and Amy each are likely sitting pretty well financially, but my guess is Amy has invested more wisely and been more frugal. Here's my hope: that when Matt passes away, Zach and Jeremy are greeted with, "Sorry -- he blew through it all, and the little that's left is earmarked for Caryn." Then perhaps Amy will get some well-deserved attention -- even for the wrong reasons.

She's not perfect, but SHE parented those kids while Matt busied himself elsewhere. She deserves better.

I agree completely. I don’t like how they treat her when their dad was the one to step out of the marriage then proceeded to try to kick Amy off the farm.

What a bunch of crap, I am so upset that I bought in to this, she really got me.  what a sap I am, sheeeeeeit.   Are you kidding?   You just put Polygamy back 100 years because of your need for....whatever???   Here I thought these were elevated thinkers who really cared about each other.  It wouldn't taken a couple of seasons, and a full on wedding and all the interviews to know it wasn't for you.  You did it for your own gain as far as I can see.  man oh man, I am so mad at myself for buying into your bull.

Agreed. I had finally started to really like them. Bummer.

RIGHT??? And just LEFT the crap they didn't want laying on the floors.  And THEN.... almost a YEAR later - they wonder why the houses haven't sold???  FINALLY the second house sold.  Only two to go!

Yeah yeah, I know SOMEONE cleaned it up (whether the Browns came back the next weekend or hired someone or whatever) so that they could show the homes - but the impression they gave was that they loaded their junk - left crap and messy homes behind - and drove off with a single tear in Kody Brown's left eyeball as he waved.

He was sitting at Christine's table mowing through whatever he could drag out of the fridge.

Meri’s House is the only one left now

No, Vanessa's father was at the ceremony. The older bald  man named Jose. Who asked specifically about "how sex works."

That wasn’t Vanessa’s father. On the couch she told either Ashley or Dimitri “Your dad asked me how the sex works!”

I couldn’t believe Kody actually pushed Robin out of the way so he could have center stage to make his big speech. And she scurried like a puppy who was just kicked. And he did it on camera.

This was the saddest episode I have ever seen. And they went through this for absolutely no good reason at all.

Why the hell did he push her? That was so insane. At first it doesn’t seem too bad but when I picture my husband pushing me like that...booooooy that would not go over well.

Meri can't even put her dog down for a minute to give her daughter a hug with both of her arms.  In fact, the majority of the time we saw them moving, Meri is carrying around her dog like a baby.  I LOVE my pets, too - but wth???

I always get the impression that Caleb brings up feelings of loss from Kody’s brother’s death.

Damn. I really liked hate-watching this show. God knows I can't stand watching any of the gross TLC shows, like the pimple one or the toe guy (SO GROSS - I CAN"T EVEN LOOK AT THE COMMERCIALS).

Editing to add: I just looked at the MBFFL, and there Twitney is referring to it as the "season" finale.

I took the insta post to mean there WILL be another season.

I remember reading that Maddie had first gotten into LLR by assisting Meri and helping her with shipping inventory.

And what feud? There's a family feud based on fugly leggings?

Nobody is sure what the feud is about but Maddie made some vague tweets about abusive people in her childhood and seemed to be referring to Meri.

Really.  Christine becomes more annoying with each episode. I'm sick of hearing her vooiiice already. shut up. Who made you the boss of everyone? And yea Christine, Kody can only have one legal wife. That's the law, get over it. She's now surpassed Meri in wife I dislike the most.

And, if polygamy is legalized all you second third and twentieth wives won't be able to collect welfare. Thought about that?

Even worse is you can barely hear it through her "keep sweet" whisper.

I used to talk about doing this with a friend when we had small children (not the polygamy part). We thought it would be great to have a big house like that with a common living space in the middle, and each couple in their own private wing and then be able to help each other with our kids as well as hang out and socialise.

Me too! I think that's why the one big house appeals to me so much. I'm sure I'm romanticizing it in my head but it seems like it would be really cool. I could even go for polygamy if I didn't really care about the guy. 😆 Makes sense, I know.

Meri has achieved either Trainer or Mentor status with LLRags, which means she also gets bonus checks from everything her downline sells.

Don't quit your day job just yet, lol, the whole good ship LLR has sailed and may be drownding.

I've been thinking that for self-preservation Meri should jump on a new MLM that isn't sinking. I know they're predatory but if she's going to do it anyway and has no other viable skills...

Most single women with one child should/would be fine with a 1500 sq ft house.  What I have seen in the last umpteen years of watching is SHE won't be fine with a 1500 sq ft house.  SHE won't think she should get less than the other wives because if it were up to her she would need a larger house and have 8 kids.

I believe Aspyn has a right to ask her mom why the move and why be in such a hurry.  She sees how this is affecting her sibs and she lived through lots of moves herself.  It is also because as viewers everyone is pretty much wondering so they needed it asked/answered onscreen.  Maybe Aspyn doesn't really care but she was the one appointed to ask on screen why.

I could definitely see asking why and at her age having some irrational feelings about it, but, I just personally thought the grilling was over the top and the rude comment about how they're trying to fill a void...that's really just conjecture and pretty rude to say on national television about your own parents. Just because it's not how Aspyn does things doesn't make it wrong. Imo

In this situation, it is King Kody making the decisions for his wives. He is the one deciding that Robyn needs 3500 square feet and Meri only needs 1500.  The wives are having no say in the designingk of this house.

Then again, it is all for show and drama when the wives see the plans. No one, even Kody, is serious about a plyg house.

Designingk 😂😂 I really hope they go through with it. So much more interesting to watch.

I was going to pull my hair out when it comes to Yasabel. That poor girl thinks it’s her fault her curvature is getting worse. She is being forced to do “exercises” that don’t seem to have any real value in science when she should be living her life until the time comes for the surgery. Watching, I was so mad at christine because she basically put her head in the sand and decided her daughter was doing way better than the reality. At some point she is going to need that surgery but I fear Ysabel is going to spend years in pain because her parents want her to try experimental treatment to soothe themselves.

Yes! Oh my gosh I can't believe I forgot to mention this portion of the show. I was SO mad that Ysabel was crying and in obvious misery over "failing" to fix her curvature with exercises the DOCTOR told them would NOT work. That poor girl. Ridiculous!

I don't see anything wrong with Meri's sq ft allotment EXCEPT for the fact that all of these kids are growing up and a lot of them will be out of the home in a few years.  So does Janelle and Christine need 1000 sq ft MORE?  And more importantly - Robyn has two young children  TWO!  Why in the world does she need 3500 sq ft?  That's ridiculous!   I think it's stupid that they all need to have their own living rooms but that's just me.    I don't understand why all of the wives can't have 2000 sq ft, say.  They would have an enormous living room and kitchen to share BESIDES their own kitchen.

I can definitely see your point!

Agree on principle but given the circumstances I can see why it seems unfair. First of all, by the time they get this thing actually built, the wives will have very few children left at all. Janelle will soon by an empty nester and Christine will only have Truly.  So why should Meri have any less than Janelle or Christine?

I agree that Meri doesn't really need more space but the optics of this are bad considering we already went through this when they got rentals in LV and again when the built in LV. The wives are supposed to get equal budgets because as Janelle said Meri shouldn't be punished for having less children -- since it wasn't her choice (and Kody said NO to trying to have more).

I think the sad fact is that Meri won't have a pile of adult children and their spouses/grandchildren visiting in years to come. It really is sad. (Only because that's what Meri wanted) but it wouldn't be practical at all for her to have that much space. I do think Robyn's portion is way too big, there's no way she needs that space even if Dayton lives there.

watching it last night--- a few thoughts.

First, Christine has really dropped some poundage and is looking pretty good. Must be the  being  central character bonus lately maybe?

I do understand Cody meeting with the architect/designer/ whatever to explain the needs for the family build. However I thought it was REALLy quite excessive for EACH wife to have the equivalent of a single family home. I mean, I get that they each need their space and that  for their kids, but there has to be so much unnecessary overlap. When he was giving rough square footage estimates, that's when it really seemed OVERTHETOP to me. He said Roby, because she has so many kids and they are at home, would need 3500 SF. I had a house that was 3500 SF and granted, we were only with 2 kids and later empty nesters, but that is really a big house.

I think TLC must pay some nice $$$$$$$$$.

AGREED. My house is 2300 sq ft and I have five kids under 15!

That doctor gave me GIANT creeps!  Talking about how pretty Ysabel was, Kody needing a shotgun.  That would be the last time I took my daughter to a doctor that mentioned how attractive my teen daughter was.  I might also let it slip was a creeper he was.  I was stunned.

It was super strange. I also thought Christine hugging him was odd, and we love our pediatrician. Maybe it's not odd though, I've just never done it.

  18. I don't know what is wrong with Meri getting 1500 sq ft when she's ONE person and she travels a lot (and seems to LOVE it.) I feel like people are acting like this is so bad for Meri when last time in Vegas people were screaming that she's selfish for wanting such a big house. I dunno...I wouldn't want Meri's life but 1500 sq ft for one woman isn't tantamount to abuse. Mariah doesn't seem like she'll be one to visit much either.

Did anyone notice Meri hasn't live tweeted since March 5th? Odd...

The Aspyn conversation really rubbed me the wrong way. I felt like Aspyn, as a newly married woman, shouldn't really be grilling her mother about why she wants to move. Some people just like to move. Like the quote by  J. R. R. Tolkien "Not all those who wander are lost." I thought it was especially rude of her to state that the parents were trying to fill a void to make them happy. I dunno. I found it very unnecessary.

Anyway, I'm positive I'm not making any friends here as I haven't seen a single person sharing these sentiments but I just came away feeling entirely differently for some reason. 🤷

Okay, I just caught up with the episode, and I haven't read the entire thread yet. So if I'm repeating anything that anyone had already written, I apologize in advance.

Robyn crying stating that the "piece of paper" didn't matter; but the eternal covenant did. Gag!

Easy for Robyn to say when she HAS that piece of paper. If I were on that couch, I would have unabashedly given that chick the side-eye.

Does it matter to Janelle? Of course not! She and Kody are more like buddies rather than husband and wife. After she had the kids she wanted, their relationship probably became what it truly is. Plus, she had that "piece of paper" with Adam Barber. But we know what happened with that...

I still wonder what she saw in Kody or why she married him since their marriage seems to be a very platonic one...

On a shallow note, I WISH Meri would get rid of those damn eyebrows and that eye shadow. It's not flattering on her AT ALL.

I kept looking for the Alldredges, because I knew they were in attendance. One of the wives (I believe it may have been Vanessa) had photos on her Facebook page. Maybe I missed them. I did see their name on the guest list/seating cart, or whatever it was.

It was nice to see an "if you blink, you'll miss it" appearance of Logan and Michelle. On the other hand, I do admire them for staying out of the spotlight. Ironic, huh?

Alldredges were sitting with Aspyn and Mitch at the rehearsal meal and Vanessa was shown taking a photo of two women at the wedding. It was during a moment when the narrator said her daughter's were wearing hats she's made.
