  1. Oh man, my heart breaks for those women.

That was hard to watch, I wasn't really into the whole boy band crazy growing up, liked some of the songs, but mostly thought the fan obsession was dumb.  I don't even recall hearing about the allegations against Nick until this doc.

Talk about a toxic family. Poor Aaron wish he had gotten the help he needed.

This doc continued to confirm my belief that social media is the worst thing ever and brings out the worst in people.

Same can be said for the modern obsessed celebrity fandom were people refuse to think a celebrity is anything but perfect and pure and can do no wrong.

I will be stunned if these lawsuits actually achieve anything, only because I know how these kinds of cases often tend to play out, but hey, I support these women continuing to fight on, and I hope something does come of their efforts in the end.

I agree, I don't have high hopes on lawsuits, feels like they have an uphill battle.

How do you have 3 of 5 kids die from drug overdoses?  I'll bet neither parent thinks they are in any way responsible for what happened to them.

Yeah this made me wonder what the other sisters knew/suspected about Nick's behavior/actions and if the family was forcing them to keep quiet and they delt with the stress by turning to drugs. (Just my thoughts)

I'm am curious to know what other secrets Kaya knows/has on Nick or the family.

I did find Rielle Hunter to be a pretty interesting interview in Episode 3. I was disappointed Jake didn't interview John Edwards for that episode, or Spitzer in Episode 4

Yeah, agreed. It would have been interesting to hear their thoughts about their scandals after all these years have passed and if they would have handled things differently.

  3. Did anyone watch the HGTV Dream Home 2024?

Hard to believe that it has been airing since 1997.

HGTV Dream Home is where HGTV designs and builds a home in different locations around the US. HGTV Then has a sweepstakes and the winner get the house (and everything in it) and other prizes (like a car).

Most of the time the winners either take the cash option or sell the home after the fact (due to taxes).

The 2024 home was built on the marshes of Anastasia Island, on the east coast of Florida, near St. Augustine.

  4. All I could think of while watching this episode was Lifetime did it better in regards to Will and Kate.  Not something I ever thought I would say in relation to The Crown.

    Christmas at Notting Hill

I watched it last night and it was ok. Definitely agree about it being hard to tell the sisters apart and about the bus ride (it gave off obnoxious tourists vibes.

William Moseley was decent and was nice to see him in something new. He was in the Chronicles of Narnia films and The Royal's with another Hallmark alumni Merritt Patterson.

I just watched the first 20 minutes or so of Joyeux Noel, but from the beginning the heroine was truly unlikable, and there's no way the hero should have to end up with her.  Also, sending two people over to Europe, flights, hotels, &c, for a story they might or might not be able to find?  Sounds unlikely.

May check in toward the end, but I'm not hopeful about it.

I didn't like the actress in her previous one about Fashion.  Both characters were big complainers and not likable.

Agree with the last part; it felt like she was playing the exact same character.  The chemistry seemed very basic and the relationship didn't feel earned...would have been better for them to end up as what they were coworkers who found an understanding and respect for each other.

This one definitely won't make it on to my re-watch list.

Now Mystic will make it...it was cute and seal and sea lions stole the show. I also agree that the relationship felt more friend/sibling like.

  7. I am, but skipped that one.  Did watch Christmas movies 1 (Destined 2) & 2 (Twas the Text Before Christmas).

Enjoyed movie 2 it was fun with decent chemistry all around.  I tend to enjoy most of the movies that Merritt Patterson has done over the years.

Movie 1 could have done with out...it tried to hard to recreate the vibe of the first Destined movie which didn't work.  The first one ending with the flash forward, it made the sequel unnecessary.

  8. It is nice to not have a 3 hour block of Expedition (fill in the blank) back to back this year.

The loud bang was interesting (but could be explainable; old building and all) but the elevator chime was spooky, and unless Josh and Co. fall into the days of the old Ghost Hunters, then that was a bit harder to explain.

hard time believing Jess every time she experiences something

Yeah,  Jess does sometimes seem to overreact (like when she saw something right when they started investigatingl; if she was on any other show I probably wouldn't watch.

Overall it was just so sad and heartbreaking to hear about what happened to the patients. It would be nice if Josh would do a follow-up as more of the graves are matched to death certificates.
