  5. Wow, mom of the year for Mother's Day.

    Glad Gene's son survived.

I agree with other posters, this season is just dark. There is very little humor.

DEAN DEVLIN & JONATHAN GLASSNER EXPLAIN THAT CLONE REVEAL ON SYFY’S ORIGINAL SERIES ‘THE ARK

“We we wanted to kind of redefine the whole idea of a clone. When we say clones now we think about things like robots, or some some strange alien thing."

Uuuuuhhhhh....what?? Who thinks of clones as robots or aliens? Has he not even heard of Dolly the sheep? Clone Wars?

I guess that explains how out of touch with reality, basic physics, and common sense this show has been.

  10. It'd be nice if the writers could at least do some minimal research so that things are not completely wrong.

That is not how comets work at all. They did not appear to be near a star, and comet tails only exist near a star. Comet tails do not extend behind the comet's direction of travel but are caused by solar radiation and extend away from the star.

Otherwise, this was a more entertaining episode. For me, because the characters were not completely evil and hateful.

well that sucks for people who like have jobs in the middle of the day.

Frankly, it just sucks period. It's like someone was nostalgic for the days before even VCRs existed.

How many viewers are they even going to get?

  12. I'll watch pretty much anything sci-fi so now I guess have a new show to hate watch.

So many cliche characters - the nerd, the hot chic, the boss, the rebel, the slacker, etc.

Ok, they show that they are using spin to create gravity but then the final shot shows the boss sitting in her cabin at the front of the ship that is obviously not spinning.

One single tiny leak and the entire ship quickly loses breathable air? Plug the leak and almost immediately the ship is full of breathable air?

SyFy nee SciFi used to have some of my favorite TV shows. Maybe this will get better.

Ugh.  "Jack" is a nickname.  Like "Tripp" or "Trey" or "Chip".

And it's a nickname for "John".  So, they gave two kids the same name?!  No way that would've happened, especially a century ago in much more formal times.

My grandfather, who I think was born in 1901, was named Henry. His brother was also named Henry and neither of them had a middle name. It was a tradition to name the children after certain family members on the father's and mother's side and they just so happened to both be named Henry.

It became an issue in the draft, and my grandfather's brother had to change his name to Harry.

    Josh deserved it.

No, Josh deserved to go blind in prison as a former law enforcement and IRS officer.

And then to get a visit from a certain person who admits that she was the one who killed Nia and that Murphy was innocent THE ENTIRE TIME.

  15. So, the Duttons had time to have a conversation, change clothes, play with the kid in the grass, and have some more conversation. When they finally decide to get going, the wagon train that's booking it to the fort is only about a couple hundred yards away. No wonder it is taking them so long to get to Oregon. Geesh.

Upthread there was a comment that there are too many problems with the ship that get fixed at the last minute, and I have to agree. How did that thing pass inspection in the first place?

After the first few episodes, I thought for sure that there was a saboteur on board. Nope, just some really bad engineering. After awhile, you just start laughing at the next thing that goes wrong.

The crew seemed like they were chosen to star on a reality TV show, because they always want lots of DRAMA.
