Mariska was on Jimmy Fallon tonight and said that this season would be delving into Olivia’s mind and that her arc is about healing.

Oh good. This is just what everyone was hoping for, even more Olivia-centric storylines.

  2. It is going to be very un-politically correct for me to say this but the plus-sized models did not do the designers any favors. All the outfits that wowed the judges were worn by the size 0 models. Georgia’s showpiece blue dress looked awful on the plus-sized model and the judges rightfully lambasted it. I do think that someone with a slim figure would have done wonders for that dress.

Why do they bother having outfit for men in this show? Do they really think that a lot of men are going to become customers and be profitable for them? Total pipe dream.

  3. Overall good designs from everyone other than Marc-Antoine and Sienna. M-A just threw everything but the kitchen sink and the outfit screams overdesigned. Sienna should have been given an automatic cut for having a peplum in the outfit.

  4. I'm just glad that none of the judges batted an eye at Bone's lame attempt at tear-jerking with his dad's heart surgery story. That dress was a red pile of ugly.

Who is Precious Lee and should I care?

  5. As a Tim Gunn non-fan, I hate that he's such a big part of this show. He's gone beyond just a mentor and is pretty much a co-host now. Even as a mentor, he doesn't do anything more than give serious/concerned facial expressions. Don't even get me started on the Heidi and Tim date segment BS. Puke...

  6. The big thing that bothers me about this show is when the judges criticize the sewing skills. Let's not forget that the big premise of this show is that all the sewing is done by seamstresses and not the designers. Also, the designers are not present to oversee the garments being sewn, so it's all just a crapshoot. Sure, they may be able to make small alterations here and there, but the bulk of it is out of their control.

I just want to give them a Cher slap whenever one of the judges point out the poor construction job,

  7. The gay couple in St. Maarten couldn't be any more of the annoying bitchy gay stereotype even if they tried. Couldn't stand them dismissing most of the properties because they were too small for entertaining (which they weren't). Unless St. Maarten is filled with pudgy middle-aged whiny gay men, I doubt they're going to have issues with accommodating their gigantic house parties.

That second property with the glass mezzanine is gorgeous.

Geez, show, I thought drama was the whole POINT! Don't edit out the good stuff!

No, it really isn't. Edit all that shit out. I doubt anyone here tunes into PR to watch shit-stirring by the likes of Gretchen and Helen.

I feel like some of them seem to think every challenge is just a toned down avant-garde challenge. I wonder if they are allowed to ask questions to clarified challenges.

I bet that's because these designers came into the competition with a bunch of outfits already planned out in their mind and just tailor it slightly to the challenge parameters. The vast majority of the outfits are probably fancy party dresses.

Anya is clearly the exception since all hers are stapled together beachwear. The show is wayyy overdue for a menswear challenge IMO.

where did the money come from that they had such a large budget

I find myself asking this question nearly all of the episodes.

Funny enough, this meme has constantly been popping up all over my Facebook feed recently...

Fiji: The wife wanted an authentic Fijian experience but I wonder how quickly the cold showers and no AC got old. Does it rain a lot there?

I don't know, but even if it were sunny 24 hours a day, I doubt that there's enough hot water for 2 adult's showers, a kid's bath, laundry and kitchen uses.

It's hot as heck in that part of the world all year round. There's no way anyone would ever want a warm shower. It's a typical non-issue that HH likes to bring up to add to the drama.

  12. Loving the bromance in this episode. How awesome would it be if after they managed to heal Jack, they made Dean change teams and the two of them fell in love and became a couple?

All the fangirls would probably riot.
