I literally yelled "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat" when Faber showed up at the end. I wonder if there was a different ending filmed in case the third season wasn't a go.

 

I didn't think they'd kill Tom, but it does bring a degree of realism. So many died in Dieppe, it's statistically unlikely (understatement) that this group would stay intact.

At the last season 2 episode 1o when faber mentions the names, who were the characters, I could not find them listed in cast & crew. The names were, daniel deforest, albert bellerose, gills fournier
