Wow! First off, smart that you screenshot it! Second, the whole "just roll with it thing"? Seriously Judy?! She gets all judgemental on Ava & even tells Travis about it to get him judging her, but she asks people not to judge her or her daughter! And yeah, while the poor kid was probably in pain, that gesture was in no way appropriate & by taking a picture of her doing it, that sends the kid a message that it's somewhat acceptable that she's doing it. I mean I had moments of major discomfort at that age like when I sprained my ankle or had strep throat, but according to my mother I never knew about that gesture (the first time I recall seeing someone do it was probably when I was 12ish) so I certainly never flipped off the camera to illustrate my discomfort. Also this picture tells me that the kid is probably used to seeing this gesture since she's using it in a way that shows she understands the meaning of it & how to use it in the proper context so that makes me wonder who in her life is doing that gesture around her on a regular basis.

Sorry Judy but this isn’t cute or funny, it’s just trashy. The hypocrisy is just mind blowing.

For a show/squad that is trying really hard to revamp its image to appear more inclusive and aware of important issues (racism, domestic abuse, and now suicide), choosing to hyper-focus on Natalie Woods' elitist residence is an epic FAIL.

I'm really struggling to find relevance and enjoyment in this show anymore.  I tried to get a refund for the season pass, but unfortunately wasn't successful.

Not to mention that she has clearly stated that she’s not concerned with the virus. Considering TX hospitals are overrun with Covid patients I am floored they are working with her.  and that jerry Jones has stated that the vaccine is mandatory working with Natalie woods doesn’t make sense

Y’all, Natalie Woods’ house was the definition of McMansion.  It’s like someone thought up a bunch of features that are supposed to signify “wealth” and “taste” (Double staircase! Oversized double front doors!) and shoved them all into one giant house.  I thought it was beyond ugly, but the back yard and view were beautiful.  No offense to anyone who liked it.  I understand personal style varies and if Natalie likes it then that’s all that matters, but like Kitty Carter’s hair, it was just not for me.

Same.  House was lifeless and cold.

Kleine is adorable - rooting for her.  But I just checked Natalie Wood's instagram account and .... just wow.  I thought Rachel W was controversial, but Natalie Wood is absolutely NOT for me.  Feel bad that Kleine has to live there. I'd reconsider sleeping in my car!

I’m just going to put this out there , Natalie is way too young to have done so much to her face.  VERY unnatural looking

I remember reading a post about this in one of the FB groups, that Cerstin and Keyra vetoed her as they were with her at LSU and didn’t want her on this team.

Ugh ! I hope that’s not true but in DCC land nothing would surprise me at this point

Ugh, don't get me started!! All she needed was lighter hair, she was awesome in every other way and would have been a spectacular DCC 😡

Katelyn not making it is possibly the biggest head scratcher for me.  I will NEVER understand that !

I never understood why Katelynn never made the DCC - not even Training Camp.  She danced on the LSU Tiger Girls with Tess, Khalyn, Cersten, Erica and her kicks were as high and pretty as Lacey's.  She was tall, gorgeous, long legs, high kicks. She was even profiled during Finals, but then her number was never called.  They've taken so many more RANDOM girls whose kicks sucked, who didn't have "the look" or needed a makeover, or had no previous dance experience.  They said her hair was too dark (!?) and that was it.

I truly thought it was weird editing and that there was more to the story behind the scenes.  Curious if anyone else knows.

Totally agree... she was an AMAZING dancer with a pretty face and great shape.....seems like something is definitely going on here with TPTB and it’s likely something petty

This girl has been seen at a few prep classes & it looks like she will be auditioning as well.

I checked out ariaceline on Instagram - she definitely has a few tattoos on the left side of her torso which would be in clear view if she were wearing the uniform or even the practice outfits. Not sure how the organization would feel about that....I know it’s been an issue in the past -

  9. I REALLY wish that a few DCC (current or past) would get together and write a tell ALL book!

Then maybe we would know the REAL reasons for so many of these cuts over the last several seasons and also what went on with group 4 last year ????

And why was Tara cut ?
And why was Jaylyn a superstar her rookie year and then suddenly not good enough for show group?
Too many odd cuts to just be a coincidence !!

I’ve had time to mull and grieve and rage. I bought the last episode so I could watch Brennan and Hannah be the queens they are, but that was the only episode I could stomach this season. I, like Brennan, have a lot I’d like to say, but refuse to give TPTB any more of my energy. So, nothing against the new rookies, I’m sure they’re something, but I just hate it. I hate the whole thing. The lack of character, support, or concern those women showed the last three vets (who were frankly some of the classiest women to ever grace the organization) broke my heart. Sisterhood my arse.

I wish the current squad (and most especially the cut vets) well, but I’m done. I can’t in good conscience support this team anymore. I’ll keep following the boards, because I love YOU all, but no. What I watched was cruel and calculated. It heartbreak for sport, during a pandemic where the trauma these women (and all of us) cannot fully be comprehended. Who does this? I just... felt sick. Still do. Those gorgeous women will pull through, I know. They are much too good for the Cowboys organization and I look forward to watching them blossom. I’ve been sending Hannah DMs because I worry— but she’s so resilient and such a fighter, I know her battle to de-stigmatize mental illness and journey to help others will literally save lives. What a warrior. Let’s continue to support them in the way they deserve and continue to lift each other up as well.

Love you. Thank you for providing such a fun, safe place to share our thoughts, feelings, and love of dance and community. Stay safe. ❤️❤️❤️

    ALL. OF. THIS! 👆
Thank You for putting this into words.

    Character Matters.

DCC management sold their souls to CMT and cut these loyal performers for RATINGS DRAMA.

There is no way that these girls (one of which was on show group) would have been a dance or ambassador risk.

I for one appreciate the attitude the cut vets gave to Kelli and Judy. No one ever seems to stand up to them and they're bullies. This was a year you keep the vets that aren't performing up to snuff because they're not dancing on a giant field, they're dancing on decks that no one is actually paying attention to.

Exactly.  Kelli can call some of these young women thick, jiggly , make fun of their smile, gum line, thighs, calves, cankles, and for being too muscular but GOD FORBID one of these adult women stands up for themselves !
I was thrilled to see Brennan and Hanna speak their minds !

I thought Brennan looked hot even if she was under-dressed. There were a few vets that were not as formal as usual (Lisa, Kristin, Savannah). They all looked better than Kelli and her chin-high collar blouse. 😳

That blouse was ... let's just say interesting ?

    Yes, I understand that.

I just like that she did speak up.  I have a funny feeling had she remained just one more year, she would have found a way to make hr feelings known.

I understand that she didn’t have a “spot” to lose but I still admire what she did.
    1. I’m not sure if any other alumni spoke up? None that I’m aware of ...if I missed something please feel free to correct me.

    2. I also feel like alumni while not in jeopardy of losing their job are also concerned with their alumni status.
I LOVE that Bridget spoke up!
