    Today on Paraphrase Hospital.....

Brooklynn:  I'm so glad we had all the sex and somehow my giant neck bandaid didn't come off in the shower.

Valentin: I'm still in love with Nina and someone else which I'm not at liberty to declare though most viewers will likely assume is Anna.  But since you're still naked, lets get it on some more before going to freak out Chase and NIna.

Val/Brook:  We totally had all the sex last night

    Chase/Nina:  Nuh uh

    Valentin:  Jealous much

    NIna:  Nuh uh

    Nina:  Nelle's burial, Nelle's burial, Nelle's burial

Jax:  Uhm, I agree with Carly, obsessed much.

Nina:  Do you wanna come to Nelle's burial

Chase:  Have you lost your mind woman.

Sam and Jax:  Even though you're only 12 and you have absolutely zero experience running a media company, we totally want you to run Aurora's digital side.

Michael:  I know nothing about online digital

Jax:  Noboby does and apparently Sam is too lazy to run it, and you have no storyline right now, and Scout doesn't come of age for another 20 years or whenever she gets SORASed so how about it

    Michael; Mkay

Sam:  Sorry I effed you up at ELQ, but you know, Jason, Jason, Jason, Jason

    Michael: Mkay

Julian;  Would you rather have your brother alive or your money

Ava:  Think Ava, think, think, think,

Nik:  I pushed Ava and Franco together so they would cheat and I'd get the money

Liz;  This is brand new information that I had no knowledge of prior to this moment.

Nik:  Ava and I had sexy times then passed notes in History class

Liz:  You should totatlly tell her how you feel, maybe after the Sadie Hawkins dance on Friday

Olivia:  You should apologize to Brook Lynn

    Ned:  Brook, I'm sorry

Brook Lynn : Yeah, Valentin and I discussed that last night after we had wild sex

    Ned:  Mother effer

This is PURE GENIUS I will never read anything else again. Please do more of these ‘recaps’ please!!!

Just because she wants the child doesn't necessarily mean she loves him.

I don’t understand this logic at all: wanting her child does not mean she doesn’t love him. It’s not a sign, or an indication, or proof that she doesn’t love him. Carly could both love Michael, and really really really want him away from the Qs, but Nelle can’t possibly have ANY feelings of love for her own child because she’s mean?

Why can't she be both despicable and sympathetic?

Because being despicable should disqualify her from being sympathetic? Seriously, in real life how often have you thought “oh this person is terrible, I really feel for them”?! How is this not an obvious oxymoron?

I agree. But I wonder how often Kelly volunteers her time to feed the homeless. Is it once a year at Thanksgiving? Probably. The sad thing is that those homeless people are homeless and appreciate a hot meal all year,  not just on a holiday.

I'm guessing Kelly does this "random act of kindness" once a year.

Better than nothing though, ain’t it

You have American born citizens from Puerto Rico whose official language is Spanish.

This makes Spanish one of the official languages in America.

NO it does not. Official is a word with a specific meaning; that how's words commonly work.

Also, Kary was the only woman in the group that refused to remove her hat until she was either already inside a building or walking through an entryway, all the other women managed to remove their headgear and shoes without an issue. I have never once felt any sympathy or camaraderie with Leanne, but I absolutely agree with her take on Kary's disrespectful blasé attitude; it's not hard to respect the custom and remove the damn hat. Just take it off before you walk through the door. Acting like a jerk to prove a point that she doesn't HAVE to follow the rules or be told what to do, or whatever her motivation might have been, does not make her right in this situation. Just my personal opinion.

I don’t find Xander and his Sarah thing adverse. I actually have always like how funny he was with his quips and cheesy ways. I just don’t like how his every waking thought is of Sarah and he acts like his life would fucking end if she rejected him or moved away.

I think he might be desperately lonely, always operating without anyone in his corner, so that when he does form an attachment to someone, he gets invested in it beyond what any normal person would. I do wish they would get more to do/talk about, like a little side project for them to do together. Repetitive dialogue is the worst.

Oh please. As if Sonny, Carly, Sam or Jason (or most people for that matter) wouldn't just shrug their shoulders at Franco being implanted with Drew's memories. Sucks for Liz, but oh well, so sad.

Dranco is such a jerk. Just like Franco. I can't wait until he finally believes that he is Franco and does a google search on himself and then resists even more from getting back his serial killer memories.

Totally agree. I’m actually liking the story and RHs portrayal because it’s BSC and only possible on a soap, and that’s why I watch, and I’m totally into Draco melting down when he realizes just what they want to turn him back into 😁

I'll be in the minority on this one: I'm kind of finding it soapy fun. Verdict pending, though.

I think it’s gloriously soapy fun and I intend to enjoy every wild curve. It’s something different.

Sam played a part in her predicament and I get that she is universally hated on the board, but the moment she said no and she did say no more than once and tried to shove him away from her and he kept coming at her, the burden falls on him.

What makes me see red is that the writers decided to muddy the waters so much with the issue of consent that people are saying, well she set herself for rape, like she somehow deserves what was about to happen to her. No, she doesn't.

I completely agree, she’s a total moron for setting herself up like this, and she completely does not deserve to be assaulted by Shiloh.

Jason blinking his way through this moronic insanity after his long absence and longer wait to rekindle his happy life with Sam is too much to wrap my head around. I better be getting a JaSam break up after this, not because of some X doesn’t deserve Z nonsense but because these two are dysfunctional and weird together now. They need some fresh air before an inevitable reunion.

it's not entertaining or suspenseful watching young Ciara twitch and squirm while Ben unbuckles his pants and purses his lips and leans over her.

I don't understand what show you are watching. I understand not liking Ben, or a potential parting between a teenager and a serial killer, or that they're shacked up in a cabin for Reasons, but he is literally not doing any of the things you've mentioned. He hasn't touched her except to patch her up, changed his shirt when he was dirty and then apologized for it, and pulled away when she reached out to touch him. He can be weird or creepy or still secretly unhinged, but he's done nothing to sexually threaten her.

So I wasn't watching when this storyline occurred and I was kind of stumped when Kyle said that today.  So he has been pissed his whole life because Diane got Jack's sperm instead of Prick's?  And he doesn't get that he would not be the same person?  Or he has such self loathing he would rather not ever have existed?  So confusing.

I actually read that as Kyle calling Nikki out for messing with people's lives, taking actions that had consequences for other people and rarely for herself, not focusing so much on the Victor part of it. He finished off by reminding her she'd gotten away with murder, which makes sense if he's saying she gets away with a lot, and could stand to wake up to how damaging she has been to people lives, instead of judging others for that.

And that brings me to her weird conversation with Jason. What was that? I love Franco and hate Jason, but why did she even bring Franco up to Jason?!? Jason didn't ask about Franco. Jason doesn't care about Franco. Jason doesn't care about her relationship with Franco. Nor should he care about any of those things. And then she accused him of wanting her to do what Sam did?!? Huh?!? Where did she get that? Elizabeth sounded delusional yesterday! I loved when Jason just said, "I wasn't going to tell you anything," and then slowly backed away! LOL! I'm glad he didn't stick around and listen to more of her complete and utter nonsense!

I am usually a big Elizabeth fan, and even an OG Liason fan, but their whole convo yesterday was weird and awful. I almost wish RH had played it even more unhinged and belligerent, coz that would at least have matched SB's facial expressions and the backing away slowly response, would have been roll-your-eyes-amusing. What was even the point? To show that she's obsessed with her relationship with Franco, and with defending it, even when no one gives a shit or is actively attacking her? They've already played that out a million times. The scene was just plain stupid and nonsensical, and that deeply annoys me.

Ava was responsible for the explosion of the car that Morgan 'borrowed'.

Actually, Ava was responsible for Morgan having a manic episode that lead him to ‘borrow’ the car that just happened to explode...I don’t think she was trying to blow up Julian at the time?

  14. I think its a totally viable twist to have Peter and Anna tied together, and FH can absolutely handle the conflicted feelings dealing with Peter/Henrick/whatever is going to bring up. I am looking forward to more plot twists before they start interacting, and even more to how their relationship develops once they know about each other.

Also, Nelle NEEDS to triumph over Carly and her hypocritical, totally blind and insulting shittyness.

  15. Can I just say how much I enjoyed everything about the Quartermaine scenes? All the dialog, the historical call backs, Monica getting her moment in the light by bringing it back to Alan. And I love Sam and Drew scenes; they're beautiful. I even love TB in her new role. So much goodness in today's scenes.

So we are supposed to feel sorry for HayChel? How? In what universe would anyone EVER FEEL SORRY FOR HER? Granted, this is a universe that has friendly ghosts cheering on Sonny. And had Luke drive drunk, hit/kill a child (his "grandson"), confess to it, and was never charged.

No, good ol'boy Luke just went back to drinking. None of these stories go anywhere...I could handle the chickens-coming-home-to-roost with Rachel and Jared, if I had a grasp of this chick as a character.  Rachel-to-Hayden went from drunk driving, to the Berlin scandal, to pretending to be Jake Doe's wife for money, to a Cassadine wife, to Fin's quirky soulmate...and I still forget about her whenever I think of the show. She's a finance person; she couldn't have been in a story with the Quartermaines? Michael? RB has a ton of screen presence, she's an experienced actress, you can get her to do what the scene needs, as far as the ppl who write it are concerned. They spent her entire tenure jerking her around, kinda like Sam for a while, but KM weathered the storm and RB didn't. And so now the story lacks punch, imo.

I don't even mind ghost cheerleeding so much if it made an iota of difference to Sonny once he got out of the whole. Just make one small change, and stick to it, and show me how that changes other things, other relationships.

  17. Oh my god, that was some amazing stuff between TK and LS. The story-telling leaves enough on the table for there to be tons of reasons behind their characters' actions. Even fans preface talking about their couple with "whatever is going on between  Ridge and Quinn..."

That text went right to the heart of what these two characters are, and I think the actors did a phenomenal job bringing that to life. That was some seriously physiological exploration; they are being allowed to show complex sides and inner demons and play out the 'hidden affaire' which pretty much guarantees success in this genre. The people who do like it, talk about it, and the people who do send in letters and gift, and everybody wins.

I do think its hilarious that right after his young, dip-sit son stole his much younger wife right out from under him, Ridge turns around and does the same damn thing to Eric. But since I like the idea of Sally bringing some life out of Thomas, now that TPTB apparently they decided neither Sasha nor Caroline would have the honor, I for one am glad that the awful triangle between father and son swung around to better actors who will give it their all. I would have believed Ridge if he held my shaking hands, looked me in the eye and murmured comfort. And LS is selling it as a self-destructive defense mechanism coming from her love of Eric. For her, love and fear are the same thing, so that means she has to destroy it. Thats some pretty powerful stuff right there, and I really enjoyed the scenes that brought that out to us.

  18. I really liked the scene with Liz/Finn/Hayden. It had a good, tense pace to it, and I think the writers did a good job criss-crossing Liz's Tom/Franco problem with her sister's 'fight for her life'; this is the soapy stuff I want to see. Hayden picking up on Liz mentioning problems, Liz demanding more information next time she breaks the law for them, all good stuff to build on later.

  19. This next season looks amazing, judging by gorgeous location shots alone. I am here for Erika, I think she's terrific and the most interesting and nuanced characters of all the ladies. Love me some LR and ED, rest we'll see. Can't wait!!!

I suspect that Erika will actually get to know and like Lisa V. I'm pretty sure it would have happened last year if Yolanda hadn't been in the picture.

I think both of these predictions will come true, which is what makes this show so much fun to watch, for me

  20. I have to admit, I really cheered when they had Liz switch from moaning about Franco to using her brain and getting to the truth. Even if it did move this ridiculous 'watch poor Franco be put upon by all these false accusations' SL further along, which is annoying because I really wish RH would stop whining his way through his admittedly self-pitying lines, I liked Liz being able to use her agency to do more than stand around looking concerned while Franco looms in the shadows and eery music plays. I liked watching Liz and Griff interact, and I liked the chemistry with the two of them and Nathan during the questioning.
