  1. Yeah, I saw Caleb drop Hanna's hand too. Maybe he didn't jump back instantly when Hanna first touched him but he did disentangle himself from her relatively quickly, which was the right thing to do. I thought Hanna was out of line there. Like it or not, Caleb is now Spencer's boyfriend and Hanna is engaged to another man. Maybe it was just a reflex, but it felt disrespectful to both Caleb and Spencer, as well as Jordan. Hanna seemed a little too eager to work with Caleb and it's becoming more and more obvious that she's not over him.

Question about Ezra and Aria's book... is it meant to be non-fiction? Are they just telling Ezra and Nicole's story because it appears they're using Ezra's and Nicole's names?

Okay thanks. I wasn't sure if I was just completely misreading what happened there.

I agree Hanna was out of line, but honestly I'm mostly mad at the showrunners for creating this stupid situation.  Even if Spencer and Caleb break up, I don't want he and Hanna back together because the partner swapping is just eye-rollingly annoying.  As many have already mentioned, the fact they never pulled this boyfriend switch up thing before was one of the great things about the female friendships on this show.  The new mystery disappoints, our "adult" characters behave like overgrown adolescents, and I feel like the writers have ruined a good portion of the relationships.  It's like they had no idea, or didn't care, about what drew people to the show in the first place. I'm even disappointed that Emily has stopped dating because it sort of feels like she's being denied an adult same-sex relationship.

I'm not sure whether this book is fiction, non-fiction, or what - but I think it is mostly just a Macguffin to get Aria and Ezra in the same room consistently, in each episode. So I'd be surprised if the writers even know what the deal with the book is supposed to be.

  2. Hanna was gross grabbing Caleb's hand like that.  He was worse for not pulling away or doing ANYTHING boyfriendish for his alleged current girlfriend.  Seriously, it was like we missed two episodes or something.

I thought I did see Caleb pull his hand away and lean back a little. And then he booked it but quick when he dropped Hanna off with Lucas.  I'll have to watch it again. How did other people read Caleb's reaction?  Honestly, I'd rather see he and Spencer split up, but he seemed uncomfortable to me.

Interesting to see Ezra being controlling creeper dude with this other girlfriend too.  Oh Ezra, you're consistently the worst. Well done!

  3. Does anyone know if there's been any statement about how long this "Who Killed Charlotte?" mystery is supposed to last? I'm not sure I'm into this until the end of S7. I hope the mystery is wrapped by the end of this season, and next season could focus on something else. I know the show is just sticking to its own formula, but Aria's Hunt for Red Nine Irons really underscores how the show spins its wheels endlessly and constantly uses red herrings. With the new mystery it's just that much more obvious, especially since I am on board with those of you who really could not care less about the answer to the mystery.

And I'd rather have Jenna, Mona, or Alison, or CeCe/Charlotte as the season's Ms. Sketchy, rather than Sara Harvey. It's really no offense to the actress but she's too new a character to the show to hang a big mystery on.  I'm not a huge fan of her acting, but that's not even my main complaint about it.  I guess the others maybe have other projects going on, but any one of them would be better antagonists. Sara is as uninteresting as that swimming team Jenna doppelganger or that girl that Aria killed - Shauna? I don't remember her name for sure and am too lazy to look it up

I don't know how to use forum tools to quote from a different thread, but last week cuddlingcrowley speculated about S7 being the last and I've got to agree. These actresses should cut the cord and focus on their careers elsewhere.  To me it is pretty clear that the four main leads need to move on to better things.

I know the 4 mains all live in different cities now, but when I think of the potential stories the time jump could have served, all SO much better than what they were given.  Quick half-season mysteries in a couple of different cities, plus maybe one while they are on vacation together could have been a fun way to close out the series without all the Rosewood baggage. I'm not even sure we'd need Alison or an A character, but I guess that's too much to expect that they'd drop those elements entirely.

  4. Ezra likes small women? Is it because they remind him of children?

I got a huge laugh out this line too - I've got to believe that was the showrunners and writers trolling us. But it's obvious they are either trying for an Ezria end-game or a "one last hurrah" for them. Like making these dumb meta-jokes about his creepiness make the relationship worth it. Nope, still gross.

I think it was meant to be a short kimono rather than a bath robe.

It can't be said enough -- what the hell was Hannah wearing ?  Did she just keep the robe from the hotel spa ?

It took me way too long to figure out that Hanna was wearing some sort of dress thing and not a super short bathrobe. I could not figure out why she was running around Rosewood in her pajamas.

Not looking forward to the drama when Ezra finds out Aria was continuing his book.

The kimono was really awkward. LOOK HOW FASHION-FORWARD HANNA THE FASHIONISTA IS! Although it is interesting we are getting clues she's not all that happy with her job. Can't say I blame her. Didn't she go to college? Why is she running all these shitty errands. She needs a new job.

As for the fireworks when Ezra finds out about the book. That fight is so ending with them hooking up.

...but making the move on Caleb? And I agree even with Hanna's okay to do so, not a good move and I feel like Spencer's friendships with the girls means more than anything with Melissa and yeah, she went there.

Especially with the writers reminding us of Spencer's habit of going after the men who are attached to the other women in her life, it really put Spaleb in an odd context.  Because THIS time it's supposed to be different? Right.

Of all of them, Spencer is the one who deserved a great NEW guy who has no connections to any one she knows. The character deserves better.
