Also, what is up with these writers and "woman raped by her father" storylines?? That's really not something you see on TV much, and they've done it twice now in one series.

Yeah what the hell. It is messed up.

    Also another sex tape.

    These writers...

  2. David and Donna ran their course once they finished high school. Someone like Joe was perfect for Donna, and someone like Claire, Val or even Brenda would have worked well for David.

I would have loved to see Celeste as a main character. Other than Janet, she was perfect for Steveo. I hated Claire with him.

I wish there was more Brandon, Steve and David trio moments. They have good chem especially Steve and Brandon. It was more natural than Donna and Kelly.

Also I wondered what would happen if Brenda stayed and I think Claire would have played the Val and would have dated David still. We would have had the whole Kelly, Dylan and Brenda thing again and I do not think we would have had Ray tbqh.

    Word.

    Totally.

This whole plot is enraging. Kelly is the literal worst and to me she is the worst character.

When David is the only character that supports you then move to New York or Miami. Better off there.

Revisiting this Series through the podcast and David is the only character that is not a dick to Val.

    It works now, hooray!

I don't understand why David was so pissy about Dylan hooking up with someone in Vegas.  He and Gina are broken up, correct?  And weren't they discussing how it wasn't a good relationship? It seemed like David was jealous that Mary hit on Dylan and not him, even though David has dated more women than Dylan this season.

It is like they dont have a story for David and just decided to do Brandon Season 1 without the Brandon social justice.

  5. Seriously Dylan and drinking. How does no one see this as an issue? How does Kelly not see it?

It is nice that Val gets a farewell scene and it is not with Kelly. That would have been awful. Instead probably with the only character who treated her the best. Kind of wished David went with her. Beats him marrying Donna.

Did Dylan not call or like send an email? Who just shows up like that out of nowhere? Show makes no sense.

Val's ability to do David's taxes aside, shouldn't his taxes/finances be more complicated given he had to declare bankruptcy last year re: the PPAD?

I think any Mean Girl-ing Tiffani-Amber Thiessen was getting was probably A factor in her leaving, but not THE factor.  I think, mostly, she looked around and was like, "Okay, I've been here for four years and I've successfully shed the good girl/Kelly Kapowski thing.  And now this show is limping around, even the main star is leaving, so I think it's time for me to try something else."

I always wondered what would happen if Brian left since he looked done as well.

If Val can do taxes just after college...then how come she doesn't have a good job? Stupid show.

Yeah, if you’re giving someone a Meaningful Gift like that, perhaps share why it’s so meaningful! The way Noah does is makes it seem like a)he’s trying to pass the jewellery off as real diamonds and only tells her because he gets busted or b)it’s a mean relationship test. Donna clearly interprets it as the latter and thinks she has failed. Nice job on the gift front, Noah.

Funny how these people always knows someone: Brandon knows an iceskating guy and Val knows a jeweller. But I guess it’s more believeable than when Dylan knew a hairdresser who owed him a favour?

Brandon knowing the iceskating guy makes sense.

Brandon goes skating a lot and that's how he knows the guy. That one makes sense out of any of them.

Yeah, it’s hard to admit but at this point in the show I hate Kelly more than I hate Brandon. which is a lot.

Also, teenmom whose name I’ve already forgotten and her mother should call the Foundation Foundation and tell Kelly’s bosses that she’s harassing them. Her behaviour is so over the line.

When has Kelly's behavior in this job been on line?

Also when did David start listening to fictional artists and not Hip Hop in High School?

  9. This whole story line....I just I can't.

    - Kelly was nearly raped back in S2 and in S6 , how she didn't believe Val is just how? Then siding with Noah and thinks he is a swell guy? Oh and then she is in charge of medicine. Wouldn't her history of being in a cult, drug issues, and all that not show up? She is worse than Brandon....

    - Noah being a nice guy....oh god...

    - How Steve, Donna, and everyone (bar Brandon and David) supported Noah, a guy who they literally met less than a year ago...worst...

    - Does anyone really care about David's musical career? Can't they just make him do classical music? At least he can play the piano and we don't have listen to him sing.

    - Kind of funny how David is supportive of Val and was pretty much not a dick to Claire but he's such a dick to everyone else.

    - Val and David should get out of Beverly Hills. Go to Buffalo, Miami or even Kansas. Just escape that group

I loved the wedding dress, but can’t figure out why the bridesmaids dresses were so godawful, unless they were too cheap to do alterations for characters shown for a few minutes. The puff sleeve and ill-fitting bodice situation was painful.

I knew a bride who made sure that her bridesmaids had bad dresses,  so she could look good.  Suffice to say about 2 of them don't talk to the bride anymore.

How does no one point out all the times Kelly cheated or got involved with someone who was cheating? I'm not defending Brandon, he's awful and can go eat bees, and Kelly has every right to be hurt and feel betrayed but her sanctimony kills me. Also, where was Donna's anger and judgement all those times Kelly was the cheater? I hate the situational ethics and morality of these idiots. I do like Brandon and Kelly together for the sole reason it saves two other people from them.

If Kelly does it, it is fine. If Donna cheats it is fine. Only two characters that get a pass.

Brandon is awful, extremely awful but he's a better character away from Kelly, and this stalking stuff doesn't even feel like Brandon at all. Brandon would have got drunk like in Season 5. I wish instead of the creepy, creepy stalking, Brandon would have brought back the past with her cheating on him with Dylan.

Isn't this the season where Kelly wouldn't let a couple adopt a baby because there is no 'mother'?

I would agree. I don't think this was intentional by any means but one could say that Kelly was filled with a lot of self-loathing. Her character turned a lot when she decided to date Brandon- very self righteous, probably because deep down, she knows that her original self was someone that Brandon rejected (in the spring fling). So, she basically became what Brandon wanted (truly a model girlfriend). She's slept with almost every male on the show yet she throws a lot of shade at anyone who reminds her of her former self.

Oh, I miss the old Kelly... the one who openly admited to stalking a boy in 8th grade and was fine with the occasional Steve hook up.

Mind blown. She basically changed herself to what she thought Brandon wanted. Oh Kelly...

I reckon if Brenda was still in the show, you wouldn't get this Kelly but you wouldn't have had Val and maybe Claire would be what Val is? I'm confused.

The show also tried to convince us he had a threesome with two girls named Mary when they went skiing. No way can David pull that off.

If he can end racism. I'm sure he could find a way to be precious to them.

I do like Val and David together especially what happens when no one else supports he, and god he is a dick with Donna. Also I find it so funny when Donna thought David was lying to her after he hooked back with Val, when he didn't lie at all. idk show.

  14. I love how they forgot about Donna's birthday and how Nat avoids his family on Christmas Eve.

The only good (if you can say good) thing left of this show is the interaction between Valerie and David. Guess that's it.

So he kind of repeats what he did when he was on drugs - scamming money from the people closest to him. He really is a horrible boyfriend/son/brother/friend. How were we ever supposed to ship David and Donna?

To be fair he is nice to Felice and that's important.

I think he was horrible to Donna but decent to Val and Claire, especially Val with the whole professor who tried to sleep with her.

    Better sibling than Kelly though.

I like the triangle story-lines, but I didn't like how Kelly didn't come out as the bad guy in the situation.

And when she cheated on Brandon for Dylan. Everyone gave her pass even Brandon!

Seriously the one time you had the right to bray till the cows come home...and you don't even do it.
