  1. They really left things open. Kinda felt like it should have gotten another hour. They packed this episode with plot, but I guess those are the breaks when you only get so many episodes in a season.

I can't see Adam having much of a role next season... maybe a few episodes at most? What is Jeremy trying to scheme with Rachel's mother? Even when he's "scheming", he's really rather boring. With the conversation between Quinn and Rachel at the end, I can't see him staying alive by the end of next season. I wonder what the 'darker' ending was that they had in mind originally that was hinted at the Paley talk.

  2. That sort of thing was probably done to ensure his safety and not because he didn't know how to ride. Lowering liability risk is smart and I bet that was done on the Bachelor as well.

  3. I think that they could have former contestants guest star in the future, perhaps? Though you kind of bring up a good point. How many seasons can they milk drama from Rachel hooking up with a contestant before it gets stale? I mean, they could promote Rachel and introduce a new set of producers, but the same thing applies.

  4. The network is definitely hurting it. But people who do tune in can't stop. It's good stuff!

Ratings are out. I wonder if it is a bad sign for the finale.

RATINGS: LIFETIME’S “UNREAL” HITS DEMO LOW; “DEVIOUS MAIDS” ADDS VIEWERS

While it avoided a series low in total viewership, Monday’s “UnREAL” set a new low mark in adults 18-49.

The episode, which was the inaugural season’s penultimate installment, posted a 0.21 adults 18-49 rating with 572,000 total viewers. Both numbers markedly trail those of the previous week’s broadcast, which scored a 0.27 with 731,000 audience members.

The 0.21 adults 18-49 rating represents a new bottom for the Lifetime comedy. The 572,000 viewership mark is the show’s third-lowest on record. The June 15 and June 22 episodes drew 565,000 and 552,000, respectively.

Lifetime led into “UnREAL” with “Devious Maids.” While it too suffered a week-over-week decline in adults 18-49 (down from a 0.41 to a 0.37), it enjoyed a viewership increase (from 1.165 million to 1.265 million).
