  1. Completely feel for Ashley Nicole with her injuries.

I was a good soccer player, but multiple knee injuries over many years (culminated by back-to-back-ACL's), finished me, even though I tried to play through the last one for a year but really couldn't.  I really hope that's not the case for her, because she is as good as it gets, but sometimes there's nothing you can do.

I also love Emma more than before (if possible) for trying to fill in.

Definitely think they might have over-cut prematurely over the course of the season though seeing they didn't have enough girls for opening night.

  2. So, ppl who follow this more closer than I do... Does show group work this way where they announce show group with rookies before they announce the team?  So, basically if you make show group as a rookie you know you are on the team?

They've made it clear that even rookies aren't guaranteed to make team.  One year they said they were 'alternates', but not sure if that is still the case.

  3. I literally squealed "Jackie Bob!" when she turned up at SG auditions.

Was also so glad to see her.  She's one of the best there's been and glad to see she's still contributing. :)

  4. Thoughts after first 15-minute segment:

I like that Melissa is doing sessions with an experienced vet like Holly.  That makes them much more useful.

Also, worried about Megan B making it through this episode.  She is legit beautiful, but her interviews are not helping her.

ETA: Nevermind, did not see the next exchange coming where she pulled out.

  5. I wish they would show us some of the TCCs we've never seen.  Like the girl from Mexico - it seems like she would be an interesting story, coming to the US to audition, or whatever her story is.  And the other Amy - never heard a word about her.   Robin they've mentioned maybe once or twice.  I'm sure there are more that I don't even know their names.

I hate that we've missed out on girls that should have been shown in the past when the show easily could have, but with 26 TCC this year I think it's unlikely we'll see everyone, at least more than just a fleeting glimpse.  I'd be happy if I'm wrong though.

  6. I think she asked Brittany Evans and she admitted to having implants. Didn't someone else say they're hers cbecause she bought them? Forget who that was...

The one I remember was Amber in season 6 when she quickly said 'yes'.

I liked her a lot and wish she'd stayed around more than one season.

ETA: For those that don't remember her, she was the one who let Karissa move in with her when she had no place to go.

  7. Maybe a TCC asks to see KELLI in the office instead of other way around?  I wonder if that'd even be allowed to happen?

I know TCC's in the past have requested meetings to discuss injuries that we've seen on camera, so assume they'd allow them to request a meeting for other purposes.  I'd guess if they did, most wouldn't be for reasons worthy of airing.  I am incredibly curious what the awkward visit is going to be.

  8. I can't wait to see who hates their "makeover" this year. The look on Loren's face last year when the stylist suggested a "short brown bob" was priceless... I would've ran for the hills. Funny thing, the hair color change did wonders for her. Made her eyes pop.

I agree.  Seems most here disliked her hair change that year as much as she did but I was one that loved it as well.  I thought she looked stunning as a brunette.

It's a tricky thing with everyone having different opinions and tastes.

  9. Sure I'd prefer to see vets be mentors, and they would no doubt be better with style/dance, but they are busy and working their tails off. ;)

Melissa is actually a good remedy to come in and help out those that are having problems with the transition.  Yes, I agree, she played favorites last year, but she seemed much more reasonable in the early part of this episode and season, which is why I said she was growing on me.

  10. I think it'll either be Emily Madeline or Colby..

They're all looking like they are in trouble at the 20 minute mark here. :/

Even though I know not everyone likes her, I must say Melissa R. has grown on me quite a bit.  I like that the girls get some feedback that isn't so harsh but is still realistic.

Also interesting to see a Jay segment seems to be coming up.  Haven't seen that in years.

  11. Your reply reminded me that I forgot to add that some girls come out of the office after getting cut telling the other girls waiting their turn what happened (and I don't mean the ones waiting outside the building). I don't think I've ever seen a girl who has been given another chance acknowledge those sitting on the floor. Maybe because of that, I thought Colby's kiss was odd. I wonder if there is an unwritten courtesy rule of how you exit the office whether you've been cut or not.

I'm not sure the 'kiss' has been done before, but I'm certain lots of other girls have come out of the meeting and made a gesture to those waiting.  Girls like Mackenzie Lee jump immediately to mind.

  12. Correct me if I'm wrong---is Colby the only girl to ever blow a kiss to a TCC waiting her turn to be called into be office on her way out? I know she might've been wishing Rose well, but I thought it could come off all wrong. To me, she was gloating she got to stay another day, and obviously Rose was stressed out, and I don't blame her if she was thinking she might be cut that night. I wouldn't appreciate having the girl before me come out of the office with a huge smirk on her face blowing me a kiss. The look on Rose's face right before she was called in was so sad.

I don't think that was the case.  The girls huddle up there before going in for who knows how long, and I think that was just her way of saying "it's ok"

  13.

Good question. Every apartment complex I've lived in had the option of doing a month-to-month lease, but at a higher rent.  Hopefully they are able to do that, because I'd hate to see a situation like you described.

Complete guess on my part, but I'd guess that if they're doing month-to-month leases, girls that lose roommates would drop one of the leases and move in together.  Could certainly make for a hectic summer though if you had to move a few times.  It is an interesting question.

  14.  Oh, I got it now. Bummer, she was cute and danced well from the little bit I saw of her.  she had a legal issue? Something like that.

Sounded like that might be the case, but I only know what I see on the show and read on this forum. :)

These little mysteries like vanishing girls that happen from time to time do pique my interest, but I understand there may be bigger privacy issues in play for why some of these girls leave (legal, medical, personal, whatever) and they don't address it.

  15. Another thing I think I noticed in this episode, is they actually 'credit' a song in the lower left corner when it came on.  Does this mean they've finally figured out how to get rights for songs for longer than the first broadcast or during the season?  I hope so, because it's so disappointing when you view old seasons and all the songs are different.

  16. Poor Kelsey (50 yard line girl) she didn't know the answers to questions again lol

Yeah, don't even have to see the rest of the episode to know she's doomed.

Need to know who Jerry Jones is after you gaffed the year before. ;)
