  1. and, maybe they explained this and I missed it, but Lizzie's been in meetings with multiple coworkers and spent a fair amount of time in close quarters with Ressler. Why are they alive, and if she tackled Karakurt, why is he not just alive but uninfected?

The Virus only infects a specific DNA (that's why the student (the senators son) died in the first few minutes). That's why Liz and all her team members are alive. I guess it wasn't Karakurt who was at this station but someone who was equally dressed (besides Red had his intel from the nice lady with the child that Karakurt was back at his appartment).

  2. So the cabal lures them to the station where a Karakurt lookalike showes up and takles Liz (and infects her with the virus). And then they find out that some senator is the target of that bioweapon attack from the cabal and that they are perfectly alright with going through with it even though cooper told them that they knew who the target was? No one thinks that it smells funny? No one suspects that the agent assigned to protect the target could have been made the weapon?

And Keen messed up again ^^ I wonder if they do that on purpose?

  3. I've got a question.

The father knew he had a bastard son, right? That's why he stayed with his mistress 'till he graduated. But then he didn't knew that he was his daughters boyfriend? So he never wanted a photo or something? If he didn't want anything to do with him then why stay with the woman, he could have just paied her. Would have saved him trouble with his other son.

  4. but the vietnam plot was after the showrunners changed right? And assuming that this whole story was on JM to bring focus on one of his pet projects, it was really ... well, his fault :/

(or the showrunners for not stopping this)

  5.

Question for the regulars:  Has Rossi's age ever come up as an issue, regarding retirement?

He said that he is 52 in Identity when Prentiss, Morgan and Reid are profiling him by going through his stuff and he walks in on them.

  6. My biggest beef is with Garcia taking on JJ's old role, though.  I actually love her character when she's the kooky tech in the computer lair.  She's good at that.  Her personality and speech just seem way too upbeat and glib for some of the things she's doing now.  When she was presenting the case to the team, she did a funny little bit about Wisconsin and cheese and whatnot and then it was like, and, oh, yeah, there are these three women who were brutally murdered.  Who wants some Cheddar?  When the team was calling her it was like she had to say something clever and "hilarious" EVERY time before she gave them her information, and there was a LOT of that.  When JJ presented the cases in the past, she was more reserved and it seemed more respectful.  Garcia just seems too light and airy - she works really well for me in small doses.

I am absolutley not a fan of the decision in making Garcia the case presenter (don't know if I said it here or on IMDb ... but she used to be FREAKED OUT about all the cruel photos of the crime scene).

And for me she becomes more and more the annoying aunt.

  7. I found the last victim a bit off. I mean apparently he connects with his first victims over the book (Calls, SMS. Pics) before he makes a move on them. But with the nanny he just gets all exited as soon as she mentions that she owns a copy? I felt a bit like a set up to excuse the focus on the unsubs family.

btw: So does Rossi have an app for locating "munch's" or how did he find one that fast?

  8. That white guy who got fried was a rapist and devon white was raped too. Maybe the guards threatened the "fight club" participants, that if they don't play along, they arrange a rendevous with him.

Whatever the story was, I think it was either not well written or delivered.

Just a sidenote: That Julio guy(the first one they interrogate and saved Morgans life) must be a crap negotiator it he turned on his friends to get a lesser sentence and all he got was life +30 years ...

On a complete side note, I got to go on a tour inside the prison grounds-- they had large open grassy areas and large windows for the areas with the guards. Right outside the guard areas in the grassy area, they had large rocks for decoration. When the riots started, the inmates used those rocks to smash the windows. (we're talking larger than baseball sized rocks-- the designer for that was an idiot).

I bet it looked nice when they arranged it ;)

  9. You're all going to laugh at me, but I had my fingers crossed the last victim was going to stop being Ms. Low Self-Esteem and take that guy out.  She mutilated her hand slipping the twist tie. . .she located a serviceable weapon. . .  Oh, wait, then she crawled under a desk--no leverage there.  Smash the lightbulb and stand right by those stairs.  Batter up!  Even picking the closet, where he looked first, would have been better if you were holding a surprise Louisville Slugger in front of your face.

I know, I know, I'm asking a lot and it would ruin the traditional JJ save.  But it would have been very good for all the women who watch this show to see someone pull her shattered nerves together and do something she would never have imagined she was capable of.  Let's face it, the cavalry rarely arrives.

I actually thought that she would do so ...

I read at some review to the episode, that the stunt scene was actually for Kate but since she's pregnant and the men were shoved to the background it got JJ's call (Don't know if thats entirely true, though). Would be great if they had the victim knocking the unsub out and Kate/JJ only gets the "are you ok?/Your save now"-hug resp. unsub cuffing. (Hey that actually would made sense you know? They would BOTH go down the cellar, JJ gets the victim support and Kate the arresting ... *sigh*)

  10. And I though we were over the “make fun of Reid” role. Apparently, they are not done yet. And I still do not get why what Reid said was worthy of all those “you are weird” looks from his colleagues.

I didn't see them making fun of him. My friends and I react the same way if one of us is making a strange remarks about something.

But I agree with you about Garcias magic box .. they could make it a bit less convenient sometimes.

  11. It's funny to me that AJC never seems to have any of those issues. She must practically live on the damn set with as much screen time as she gets.

    She's a mom so she don't gets ill :D

    (don't stone me!)

  12. Rossi is nearly twice as old as Reid so I think it's ok if he calls him "kid" even behind his back. Morgan and Rossi always had a more personal relationship with Reid. Kate can't be much older than him I guess and she only knows him for a few month so Kid would be most inappropriate. Hotch is close with his Team but always maintains his leader distance and JJ calls him "Spence" so no worries there.

  13. Not at all! It just shows how obsessed we all are that we complete these dumbass quizzes that mean nothing and still get annoyed when we find we come out as Garcia!!

    OK :-P

That second test was a bit to american for me to answer  but I just picked randomly at that questions and got Hotch :)

And I couldn't help myself and looked into the HTML code of the first test... some choices don't make sense (jeah I'm bored ... watching the german translation of CM S10 in freeTV in the background)

  14. Just another thought about JJ's action scene... Yes she got kicked more than she "should" have and didn't cried for backup ... I hope that's another hint that she isn't ok. Also that Kate played the last words of the unsub before she shot him and than looked at JJ like "what the hell where you thinking?"

  15. Anyone noticed that when JJ's hair is bound back that she gets all ninja? (I'm not sure if thats completly correct but in the last 2 eps her hais was open and she didn't got any fighting, forever people was bound back if I recall right ...)

The episode was ok though .. they had a lot of profiling but I didn't liked that Hotch and Reid went MIA occasionally.

  16. Her hair didn't distract me ... but then I never give her a second look :)

But they are all pretty styled up this season. JLH's hair is styled down to the last detail and I guess MGG needs extra attention too, to make his hair look so curly and messy it does. (Just imagining him with curlers right now ... :-P)

  17. I imagine JJ was there with Reid because there seems to be some unwritten rule that she almost always has to be part of the takedown. Since the agents are supposed to be in teams, it made sense for more than one to go in-- although I think it would have made more sense for it to be Morgan since he knew more about bombs.

    [...]

I was so annoyed with the Einstein chick that I totally missed she was doing non-medical forensic stuff but she said she went to medical school. Something about her just screamed Mary Sue.

But Morgan was busy with the decoy bomb and that made perfectly sense. I don't mind her being there with Reid. She did good, talkng with the family and the media. By the way ... why is it so awful when she's saying something about being a mother (or whatever it was that upset you)?

The Einstein girl was odd ... you would think she's fed up with all those guys making a remark about her name.. I wouldn't mind her being snarky about it.

  18. Yeah I didn't get that "I'm going to do that to you" either (The only thing I clearly saw was that drawing of a bird with a womans head) or that bird killing thing.

I'd like to know how Gideon could be that stupid and let himself getting shot through the window.

But maybe it was a "suicide by unsub" for Gideon.

  19. whitespace, thanks for clarifying that it was the aunt. I figured that the crippling was to make them like his aunt-- but why did he want them to be like birds? Did his aunt love birds? Was she abusive to him? It's one thing to want to make the victims be like the aunt-- its another to kill birds and to really enjoy torturing the victims. So I still don't see where the sadism came in. The mother being schizophrenic and him being socially isolated might make him more socially awkward, but I don't see why it would make him want to hurt people-- at least not in that particular way. I think it was partially going for the bizarre factor.

His beloved aunty was one of the founders of the local bird watchers club. That she was abusive or not is never said.

Where the sadism part comes from is never clearly stated (I think).

  20.

The guy's motive wasn't satisfactorily explained. We know the guy lived with his grandmother until she died and he liked birds for some reason (I can't remember why) but why would he be collecting young women if they were a proxy for an old woman? Why did he want to cause them pain and make them suffer? Did his grandmother or mother abuse him? This guy was a sadist, but I don't recall them mentioning that in the profile

It was his aunt not his gandma and he dislocated the legs of the victims to make them more like her, I think. Also they said something about that his mother had schizophrenia. Along with the isolation I think that are the main motives why he did what he did.
