Oh. And Dean's encounter with Loki one on one.

I wonder if that is who Dean ends up becoming and it's not Michael nor Death.  I don't know why that would happen other than Dean asking for it so he can stealth move around the AU.

    Thats what my husband said!

    What a snub to Mark!

While watching I thought it was a tip of the cap to him. YMMV

I've never seen any of them in the flesh - but people have said that both Jared and Jensen appear thinner than they do on our TV.  (Might be the 5-6 layers of plaid).

Yes, and younger as well as mentioned above. Before I stood next to him, I heard Jensen was even better looking than on screen and found that hard to believe. But seeing him that close, believe it!

The first time I saw him live waiting for my photo op i was shocked at how thin Jensen looked.  When we hugged I could feel his ribs. Is he better looking in person? Lets put t this way, after seeing him  the first time I couldn't speak for hours. LOL

I personally wish they hadn't opted to bring her back at all, but since they have, I'd like them to resolve her story quickly.  I never minded when we saw flashbacks of Mary, or apparitions, or when monsters would take her form just to screw with the boys, but I don't need her to be in multiple episodes.  I just don't see how that works out.  Maybe they'll surprise me, but for right now, I'm not too interested.

That's how I feel. I'm not only not interested, I am worried. I don't want them ruining an iconic character.

I understand it opens up a lot of writing opportunities, but I don't want the boys entire sordid/heroic lives changed. I want their fucked up history to remain exactly as it has been.

    I agree 100%!

Maybe it will be a test for Sam and Dean-if they had the chance would they reset their life? Have Mary not die in the nursery? Would they do that even though so many people they have saved would instead die? You know I could see that as the last seasons arc.....but for me to be happy with it they would have to let her die.

I am just not getting a good feeling about this Mary stuff especially with all these new writers-do they understand how iconic their back story is?? uhg I hope the newbie writers watched the show.....

I see nothing but evidence that it was Dean who turned Amara around and Dean who stopped the slow slide into universe oblivion.  It was Dean who saw opportunity and changed the direction from dead Amara/Chuck to a reconciled Amara/Chuck.  And it was a MUCH better solution.  Plan B was a good backup plan but still relied on "if's" (i.e. IF both Light and Dark die, the universe survives... it's logical but who said it would be without consequences).  Plan C (Yellow Crayon speech) was a guaranteed status-quo success that Dean recognized and pushed through as a solution.  Cause he's both quick witted and an excellent champion of Team Humanity.  Makes him a Big Damn Hero in my book.

I love and agree with all of this. Dean was the Hero and Sam was the one that made them get off their butts and think of the plan. Very satisfying ending for me.

Upon rewatch I think Amara sent Dean back to the night Mary was killed. I can see a scenario where Dean will be faced with the ultimate test of his not fucking with the Natural Order again. If the Natural Order was for Mary to die that night..with Dean knowing all that has happened, what will he do

Catrox you are killing me. That would be epic. But could the writers pull it off? With a satisfying conclusion? That's actually the best idea I have read so far on what the Mary storyline would be.

I've got a terrible feeling that Amara reset EVERYTHING by Mary not being dead. Maybe that's why we saw the boys life up on her stalker wall. That their lives have been completely changed now and we are left with that nod to their entire past. I REALLY WANT TO BE WRONG. Because that will piss me off more than I can say

OMG don't even say that out loud!  No No and No!

I can't even imagine what they are doing with Mary. What is the point of her return? I just don't get what they have n their heads.

would not put it past the show to have Dean tell Cas that he loves him, then the Jimmy Novak vessel dies but somehow Cas' grace ends up in a female vessel in the form of one Lady WhoCares and then the show can say "Look, it's Destiel. It's Castiel who Dean loves, right? So it doesn't matter what vessel you put Castiel in  right??" I swear to Gods..I would not be the LEAST bit surprise

How do you come up with these specs? I am always flabbergasted, but I also see how it can be true! Please noooooooooooooooooo!

I think it was during the closing ceremony.  Jared just got a little choked up, and Jensen was wearing his AKF t-shirt which he uncovered and pointed to as a sign of solidarity, and then Jensen just sort of reached out and put his arms around Jared and pulled him in for a big hug.  I'm really not explaining it very well, but I don't know that there's a video of it yet.  I'm sure there will be in a day or two.  I know that Jensen was very upset last year about Jared's situation, so I'm sure this year has brought some of that back for both of them.

I didn't think he was actually making a protective move towards Amara. He was trying to stop her from hurting Cas and God because he shouted "CAS!!" when he realized what Amara was doing which is why she flung Dean across the room.

That's a different scene-the one I am commenting on Amara is all messed up and Dean starts to run towards her and Sam holds him back. That IS a different scene right?

My husband had the same reaction as me. So we both thought he was moving to protect her-I like your read of it better. I will have to watch again.

    I didn't mind the episode.

I didn't take it as Dean and Sam not understanding about yin and yang but rather Dean wanting to know why this-in this situation- is important.

I actually enjoyed it. There were parts I wasn't happy with but I liked a lot of it. Rowena was great (big and tall!) I wish her witch friend hadn't died, she was enjoyable. I liked that Father/Son conversation. I liked how they got all the different groups together. Loved the little scene with Casifer as Cas in Heaven. I felt so bad for him (Cas). I hated when Dean made that protective move towards Amara -I wanted to shake him and tell him to get a grip! I haven't been thrilled with Emily as Amara, but she did a really good job of getting me to feel a little sympathy towards her. I would give the episode an 8 (runs from room)

Jensen's features transcend the merely "handsome". There's something truly magical in them. I wish there was a better word for masculine beauty. Or a word liked better lol. The thesaurus desn't even help.

I agree! He also has a gorgeous profiletwp.jpg

     "OMG, you are so beautiful!"

I do that quite often! He was almost too pretty when he was young. Hes so much more ruggedly handsome now. I swooned then and I swoon now. When I met him at a convention I was stunned by how much better looking he is in person-how could that be possible? His personality and his Acklting make him even more beautiful.
