  1. Am I the only one that thinks Mike was clueless about how he felt about Ginny until he watched her stretch? He's been so insistent about getting his wife back that I don't think it registered until that point. Blip, tamed married man that he is, saw the signs and was looking at Mike like he was a dumbass.

    Only me then.

I'm also going to admit to a sinfully lack of knowledge. I had no flippin' clue that was PMK. Color me amazed and impressed.

  2. Watched the finale late but was completely unspoiled. Personally I loved it, every single minute. I have a habit of skipping series finales since they always screw them up. (It started with M.A.S.H. and has continued since). Amy Acker didn't even push my nerve.

I felt so much but you guys have said it better than I could have. My take-away is that the new crew is already in place, shown when they were used to protect John. Shaw will be leader but the work will carry on.

Loved it and will watch again numerous times.

  3. Me too! I wanted a wacky caper led by Sherlock so badly. When a heist was first mentioned I started to grin like a fool but then got my hopes dashed. Do like Fiona a lot and loved the Sherlock & Joan's scene. She was smiling so large and Sherlock looked almost panicked.

  4. Well, I just saved a weekends time suck. I watched the first episode and saw some troubling things, such as very little Peter & Roman as well as a new Upir character. Reading the spoilers has made me decide not to bother. Sad, I was so looking forward to watching this. It isn't even the mass die off but the lack  of what actually made this show enjoyable for me.

  5. I was very glad to see them start with last season's "farewell". Reminded me why I love this show. I don't mind the artsy part but it did start feeling a bit ridiculous. I was totally taken in by Abigail and loved being fooled. I mean things felt off with her but I didn't figure it out. I also think she was used to show a huge what if, if she ha lived what would she want? If they had left after dinner, what would life be like? Loved the mirrored procedures, medical vs funeral, while showing the aftermath of the stabbings.

Like the viewer above, I do think that Will forgives Hannibal, even as he plans on bringing him in.

Didn't the show runner say that this would be the most artistic episode. I hope so, I do want them to cut down on that.

  6. Long time lurker. I love this show, but damn if that wasn't one of the most self-indulgent pretentious piles of crap I've seen on my TV in a long time.

Almost no noir tropes were spared: long shots without dialogue, B&W, slo-mo, forced perspective, oversaturated colors, 90 degree angle shots. The only thing missing was an evil twin.

Not to mention the near lack of any plot whatsoever. 5 minutes of story and 45 minutes of visual masturbation.

The rest if the season better not be like this.

Sing it! I love this show but at times I felt like I was waiting at a red light, just tapping my fingers and going "come on, hurry up".

I knew I would miss Will but I underestimated how much. Even as I find Hannibal and Bedelia facinating, they need someone to bounce off of. Some outside force that's just as smart as they are. Even Bedelia knows Hannibal would prefer Will to be there, she mentioned it at dinner.

I did appreciate the fact that Bedelia has been eating a carefully selected diet by Hannibal since she doesn't want to share his main course.

  7. But she's the most special hexenbiest in the world. Those arrows should be silver tipped and have holy water filling the shaft's center. I hope they were good enough to do the job but the longer it goes on the more I'm afraid she's survived.

  8. I'll adopt a wait and see attitude - but I don't believe yet that Sleepy Hollow skewed as heavily male until this crapfest of a season when we ran off most of the female viewership.

Can't speak for others but in my daughter's house her husband (42) fights for SH while she (33) fights for Scorpian. He usually wins. I was surprised to hear this. He's an engineer so I thought for sure he would be more of a Scandal fan but I guess the SciFi loving fan in him made the decision.

  9. Well, as an old white viewer I don't watch Scandel, it's too soapy for me, so I'll keep watching SH. Although, I've been sucked headlong into Empire and HTGAWM so my soap standards are in jeopardy. (HTGAWM is being side eyed though after that finale.)

  10. I wish I was excited. I'm still not feeling it. I'm sure Mads will sell the hell out of it but, as much as I enjoy Gillian (worship her in The Fall) I'm just not interested in watching Mads cook his way through Europe with her.

  11. As well, Bitsie Tulloch posted on her Facebook page about the move back to 9.00 PM next season and she wrote it was a "good news". If she would not be there next season, why bother?

Because it will be good for the show, it can be darker? What? I'm grasping at straws here. People, stop tarnishing my glow.

  12. Two out of three annoying women are off my shows, now if only I could get rid of Lizzie on The Blacklist.

I'm guessing Trubel will be full time next season, which is a huge win. Maybe now Adalind will raise Diana with Meisner in their little resistance cabin, or their own home in Portland. I actually like Adalind so I wont mind her hanging around. Monroe got his Blutbad on and Rosalee stayed to protect Bud. Loved how Bud went off wondering if Adalind and Nick were going to get married and raise the baby and Rosalee shut him down on the spot.

  13. So that was who Trubel was talking to on the phone when she pretended it was Nick. I had hoped it was Kelly. (Denial.)

Me too, I was sure she was talking to Kelly. Then I got afraid that she was talking to Juliette, not believing that she had turned bad.

The lady at the end, wasn't she trying to arrest Trubel earlier in the season? Wasn't Meisner killed? I'm so confused.

  14. That's it. I didn't start disliking Juliette until she was given more to do and I found out the actress wasn't up to the challenge. Now I just want her gone. Of all of the bad story lines floating around this season, hers is the absolute worst.
