  1. I can see that argument, and had a similar thought, but a key part of the Bury Your Gays trope is that the death is a "punishment" for attempts at queer joy. In particular, it always happens immediately after the first gay kiss or first time they have sex, etc. Which is what happened here.
  2. My guess is it switched to a world where allergies are called something else. Seems more feasible than allergies themselves not existing.
  3. Well, they addressed the laughter thing early on - because his laugh was the same musical trill as the Giggle.
  4. Looks like it'll be matinees only.
  5. The key is he said he bought those because they were more expensive, thinking something being in Ava’s expected price range was more important than being stylish. Which is certainly reasonable to believe, given what we’ve seen.
  6. That was my assumption. He said it was a private client - someone ordering a snuff film.
  7. Is your definition of stunt casting just casting people who have been in other things?
  8. Is it stunt casting or just regular casting?
  9. Is it the last part? They can't be dating while he's her boss, right? (Interim was probably okay.)
  10. I almost agree, except for the "Belinda mine forever" bit, which shows that even then he still sucks.
  11. So I did go back and check every ninth word Alan says: "Save me Help me Belinda Beg you Pity me Pain Pain Belinda mine forever Diploma freedom"
  12. I think it compliments their dynamic, as we saw with the line "As usual, the doctor sits back while the nurse does all the hard work."
  13. The newer conception of a “filler” episode comes from anime - when an anime adapting a manga caught up to the source material, they would create filler episodes, storylines unconnected to the rest of the series and never mentioned again afterwards, to give the manga time to get ahead. So this is definitely not filler, because it is connected to the overall series (the aforementioned Luca connection, as well as Matt’s personal arc moving closer to becoming Daredevil again).
  14. IIRC she have specifically asked them to help keep Milchick in. It seemed to me not just that they Gemma, but that they removed all of her emotions to make her completely subservient. All the other innies we've seen react very poorly to waking up with no idea who they are, in a strange place. But now with Cold Harbor Gemma had no such response, or even questioning, or even speech? (Did she speak?) She just calmly did as she was told. It makes sense that Mark made the choice he did. He was pretty sure that, if he stepped into that staircase, he would be dead. Running off with Helly might also lead to dying, but at least it would be a little longer first. Maybe having time-share Mark like Mr. Robot suggested will be the happy ending in the series finale. Of course, that would require Helly to be Helly and not Helena. But it kinda seemed like Jame wants to replace Helena with Helly? What a creep.
  15. Wow.
