The show gets about half the total numbers it used to, but that's still higher than a lot of shows on the air. The bigger concern is the low demo number that advertisers are obsessed with.

His star seems to have fallen somewhat. A few seasons ago I picked him as the pro I would most like to have as a dance partner.

There was not much competition since The Voice doesn't start until next week, and DWTS still won the time slot last night, but the premiere was down almost 20% from last Fall's.

Isn't Tom the one who asked her about not smiling, off the dance floor? The judges were talking about her smiling/not smiling during her dances.

The judges on SCD are pretty harsh, and give lower scores than the DWTS judges. I don't remember 4s being given out on DWTS.

I love Maks, and I like Amber.....but the dance was uncomfortable to watch, and not because of Amber's body.

I like Maks, and I like Julianne, so I'm glad they are both back on the show. I'm tired of Derek, and I'm disappointed that he is back for this season.

The ratings for the finale were down 30% in adults 18-49 from the finale a year ago, and down 24% in total audience from the spring final episode. That is a big drop.
Also down from recent Fall Season.

Mischa and Artem are dating, according to Entertainment Tonight, and other outlets.
hmmmm Now ET has added an update at the top of the story saying a rep for Artem says that he and Mischa are not dating. Why didn't ET ask the rep before they did the story?

I loved GreaseLive. Julianne was really good in it I thought. The only song I didn't like was the one Carly Rae Jepsen sang.

I wasn't going to vote but the picture of Bindi's father being put up at the end of their dance just seemed so manipulative that I've been trying to vote for Nick, but haven't gotten through yet.
I loved Nick's re-do dance, and his freestyle.
The others were all fine, but didn't wow me.

A Dancing with the Stars for "regular people" is coming to Fox. With DWTS in decline, I can't see this doing very well.

I follow hockey, and her husband was never a star. He seemed to love media attention way out of proportion to his abilities on the ice. I can see him wanting to do the show to increase his social media profile, but I call BS on his claim he just wants to "learn how to lead his wife".
My top choice for a football player to do the show would be Jimmy Garoppolo. He's gorgeous and has a great personality.
