  1. Seeing Jen's hair growing in thicker and fuller to me is just another reminder of the fact that her cancer is in remission and she's getting back to her old self, which is great.

I think it's good that the kids get taken to some pretty neat field-trip like locations, which should help with their socialization out in public and being around strangers.

The problem with these field trips is that they are really a television production in progress. The adults and kids are being told where to go, what to do and sometimes what to say. There is also dub ins when they want to embellish even more.   So, I don't see where socialization can happen. Strangers are going to stare sadly without the show, so what they are doing with continuing the show is creating more stares from crowds of strangers and isolation for the kids.   So, instead of going on this pirate ship, meeting other families and letting the kids play together, they are actually at work and have a bodyguard to keep people at a distance.

  2. It has been expressly stated that they should not have a pool because Jen is not physically capable of lifting Will. That's because of her dwarfism. She and Bill may not be able to swim and that is due to their dwarfism and that is also cited as a reason why they should not have a pool.

Like Sundevil.  I live in Arizona  where its just understood that your backyard will be mostly a pool. Every single drowning death we've had in the last two years has been with children unattended getting into the pool. I can't recall one case where one or more parents were there at the pool but physically incapable of rescuing the child.

In Jen's case she cannot lift Will because of her dwarfism, yes. But, what I pointed out is that anyone else whether little or average may also not be able or able to lift their child for a variety of reasons.  Taking that into consideration, thinking twice about a pool is a valid concern.

As for Arizona Zoloft, my closest relative lives there so I had been studying real estate for many months.  There are actually more homes without pool than with.  I happened to be looking for one with a pool.

  3. Everyone is different.    Each person is capable or incapable both mentally and physically.  It doesn't matter if you are a little person or an average sized person.

I have not seen here that anyone said that The Kleins should not have a pool because they are little people.

Personally, I would be worried especially about Will, because I have noticed he is a very talented mimic both verbally and physically and I bet he can un-do anything.    Hopefully they have some sort of security system, unlike the one in the common area that he or Zoey do not know about.

  4. I think the pool as one poster said was a very shortsighted decision.   Jen in her own words says she sinks, even though she has had swimming lessons so playing in the pool or even being in it by herself could be fatal if there is not a competent swimmer there too.

Bill also pointed out with pride how smart Will was because he quickly figured out how to unlock the child proof locks.

Ask a county coroner if they think a pool is a good idea with small children around.     I would also love to know the opinion of pediatricians too.

I really doubt a doctor would endorse a pool knowing neither parent can swim.   At least to me it makes zero sense.

Pools are also many times a deal breaker in the sale of a home. Most people do not want them.

  5. I think Bill and Jen probably had good intentions when they first started filming the show, back before they had kids, but I agree that it cannot be good for any kids to be exploited on reality TV. It really makes me wonder how a children's doctor would think this is okay, and that she would even want to be in any way affiliated with a network well known for its exploitation of children.

     You summed it up perfectly.

  6. I've thought it through. I'll just summarize everything I've been saying in this forum. Bringing cameras when they picked up the children, all the traveling on camera, showing Will's delays, the amount of time they film, the father not working, using the kids to support the family, etc. I know what I'm writing.

Everything you mentioned is fine. I included my concerns about showing and talking about Wills bathroom problems and putting it out there everywhere including TMZ.

I also wrote about how in Jen's own words they rejected TLC filming their wedding as it was too personal, but they have shown every little thing about the children. I still shudder about Zoey being so upset and terrified. How the high ratings are solely because of the kids and they have no say or choice, let alone do not have a paycheck.     No laws in Texas to protect them.

I know that A Minor Consideration is will aware of how TLC does not care about the childrens welfare.   In fact, people tune in to see Will have meltdowns and how he always wants to eat. Big ratings for the show ($) and more problems for an innocent little boy with enough problems already.

  7. I am feeling this way myself....I am feeling selfish in missing the kids on tv and reading the FB/Twitter comments all ask the same things "when is the show coming back on?; I miss the kids, you are such wonderful parents!; why isn't the show an hour long instead of HBBoo?"   Wow selfish much?  Would you want your kids filmed and displayed this way and some day the kids will read all of this and this is not on us but on the very people who are putting them in this position...yep Bill and Jen.  The network is not to blame.

I suggest we continue our comments on this forum or any forum and to take it a step further and let our concerns be known to the Paul Peterson organization called "A Minor Consideration".  The organization looks after the interests of children who have no voice.  I have already done it.

    Here is the link:     http://www.minorcon.org/index.html#contacts

I have also written to A Minor Consideration too.  Your statement says it all. Children who have no voice.
