    Man-eating crocodiles, aggressive hippos and toxic frogs await a new group of survivalists when NAKED AND AFRAID debuts Sunday, February 18 at 8PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel. Throughout the series, the participants must overcome their personal struggles and face the raw brutality of nature without easy access to food, water or clothing.

    In the premiere episode, a hunter and a farmer pool their knowledge as they attempt to survive 21 days in South Africa. But when the wildlife proves too stealthy to hunt, the survivalists take a life-threatening risk for food.

    Later this season, two veteran fan-favorite survivalists return to mentor two newcomers in an all-women tribe's challenge in Colombia; a pair of Naked and Afraid critics use their armchair survival knowledge to attempt to make it through a 14-day fan challenge; and a survivalist must cope with menstruation in the middle of the African bush. Scarce food resources and mosquito-infested tropics are just the beginning of what lies ahead for these survivalists.

    A new batch of stars are headed for The Surreal Life!

    The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak, singer Macy Gray, and actor Chet Hanks, the son of Tom Hanks, are set to join the upcoming season of the MTV reality show.

    The cast also includes Fifth Harmony's Ally Brooke, Olympic ice skater Johnny Weir, model Josie Canseco — the daughter of former MLB player and The Surreal Life season 5 alum José Canseco — and rapper O.T. Genasis. Production is expected to start later this month.

    Tonight’s episode was incredibly challenging for me to film, personally. On the way to work my mom and I were t-boned by a driver driving under the influence. The irony here is I’m pretty much in a car for this entire episode, but you know what they say, “you gotta get back on the saddle”. And that’s not to say it wasn’t difficult. I had full blown panic attacks and PTSD for weeks after the accident and the only way I was able to get through it was because of the most loving and supporting cast and crew. They checked in with me along the way and never made me feel like finishing filming was a priority, that my well being came first. With that said, I hope you enjoy tonight’s episode. When I read the script I remember being so excited to film it and being even more excited to film it with my friend (who was also instrumental in getting me through some of those tough times- love you Kenny)

    And did she really say about the 8 cases of pop, "just grab anything, they'll get drinken." Lisa hath murdered English!

     

    Well you heard her. She found Dr Now's diet "confusing" Apparently she had the list of foods she was suppose to avoid mixed up with the list of foods she's suppose to eat lol

    Did anyone else remember the nutritionist from the Lisa episode? I'm surprised she only showed him how to make healthy lemonade and didn't go through their cabinets/refrigerator/freezer and remove all the junk food like last time lol.

    When they did the reunion it was during the pandemic right?

    So they must have been filming some of it then?

     

    I could understand if they filmed in fall and winter and we got it in spring.

    Total Madness season 35 premiered on 4/1/20 and they're able to film another season, edit it and get it back on the air in 8 months?

    That's a quick turnaround even if there wasn't a pandemic.

    August 23rd: US players were quarantined in hotels in LA for a week. International players did the same somewhere in the UK

    August 30th: Cast departed to the filming location, Iceland, where they spent another week quarantined in a hotel before the game began. 

    During this 2 week quarantine period, players were tested for covid. Alternates were there just in case people tested postitive (which no one did as far as I knoiw)

    Filming just ended a couple weeks ago, around October 28th-29th
