[Banshee - General Discussion]

Burton is such a unique character.  Now that we know it is the finale season, I hope we get to learn more about his background.  From the beginning, I always wondered if he too has an Amish background.  In season 1, it seemed Burton spoke with a bit of a German accent (when he actually did speak).  However, I don't hear it as much in season 2 and 3.  I like how mysterious he is but now that the shows is coming to an end, I want answers.

 

I wonder if this season will contain "flash forward" and "flash back" scenes.  

If the casting call is correct, Rebecca dies in the beginning of the season yet based on the behind the scene photos, she filmed the entire season.

 Makes me ponder!!

I too thought that the spoilers revealed in the casting call was a joke.  Noway would they reveal something that big.  However, after reading the overall synopsis of the season and seeing the trailer, I am now wondering if I was wrong.  Burton standing over the grave with a lily on the coffin has me pondering.  I have never been a huge fan of Rebecca but nor do I desire to see her dead.  I'm curious to see how many of the series regulars will die in the final season.  I am a huge fan of Burton, I will be disappointed if he meets his maker.

Oh, I'm now certain Nina didn't die, Skouras has her locked up somewhere.

Thank you!!  I totally agree with you.  I have been wondering if maybe she is in a coma somewhere and Skouras has her hidden so they could continue to study her.  I imagine that Milton was so wrapped up with the baby that he never question what Skouras did with Nina.  I will be very curious to see if this is the direction they take.  

 

Does anyone know how many episodes there are for this season?  I have seen 9, 11, and 12 episodes listed.  Just curious.  Next week is episode 9 and they didn't state season finale, so I am more incline to believe there are 11 or 12 episodes.

I really enjoyed last nights episode.  I am not hopefully that this show will be renewed but I do hope it is!!  It just needs some time to work out some kinks.

I'm glad Tate has finally been told the truth about Bo, however I am very surprised that Bo doesn't know.  I assumed she figured it out in "Origins", when she told Milton that he kept his promise.  

Side note, I am a little surprised that Tate's Dad (or "friends") commented on Bo and the Amber Alert.  The would have been fun trying to explain.  I don't want to assume anything.... but is Tate now considered dead since he was on the boat that exploded?

Looking forward to next week.

[S05.E13: Restitution]

I didn't see that coming either! Ugh!! I had always hoped that when they ended the show, Boyd would be entering the witness protection program. Based on Ava flipping, I guess we will see Boyd in a body bag.

Was it my imagination, our was that Bo's mom that was the source?

I have to say, this was the best episode so far. I really hope this show is given a chance. I does need some tweaking, but I am really enjoying it!
