Are fundie moms not allowed to pump their milk? JereMe has definitely become buddies with the producers and a few of the cameramen, they are making him look real good for TV.

I thought I heard him say something to the effect of since she wouldn't be too long, there was no need for her to pump, so maybe she just does it on an as needed basis?

  2. I am also on the "Ashley and Jon did not have an affair" boat. I think she interpreted his intentions or it was a fantasy sequence, like the earlier fight with Delilah. I also think the person who is "gone" might be Sophie. She may run away from home when all the truths are uncovered.

  3. I am so over Dre and his messages. This was painful to watch-he is absolutely tiresome! I used to be entertained by this program, not so much anymore. I don't need to be taught a lesson when I watch a comedy. There are plenty of available documentaries for that. And, I'm pretty familiar with the Rosa Parks story without seeinga full length movie about it. Time to delete this show from the DVR.

  4. @LOVECAT - Easton native and former high school theater geek here. I was thinking the same things when they mentioned Allentown. High school theater thrives here in the Lehigh Valley, and I look forward to the Freddy's every year. So awesome to see these kids recognized for their hard work.

Am very sad to see this show end. It had many nice moments, and I never missed it, despite what some folks considered flaws. So many unanswered questions now, but if it had to end, it ended on a high note. My eyes watered quite a bit-I should really get to dusting...

  5. I still don't understand why people with VERY specific needs (wants?) and million dollar plus budgets just don't build a home to their specifications.  How is anyone so naive to think that there will be an already existing home out there that is EXACTLY what they want? That woman was such a shrew! who raises these entitled bitches? The husband that left her was the smart one. And did anyone else notice after mentioning all the things she needed to have gutted, the husband brought up the batting cage or something, and she said "we're already at the top of our budget" or something to that effect. But hey, what's a $50,000 bathroom renovation? I mean, jeez, the cabinets were the wrong color...

All I know is, if I had a million dollars to purchase a home, I'd be looking for a nice piece of land to build the house of my dreams, with everything I want. And it wouldn't be 6000 sq ft...

But, we know the dog survived, so that doesn't make sense to me.  If you go back in for the dog and that's what kills you, the dog should be dead, too.

I fear it will turn out that the dog got out of the house and hid, and therefore, Jack never found him.

  7. Wasn't MJ seriously ill and almost dead a few seasons ago? Seriously Kris, chill the fuck out and let the woman decorate her home the way she is comfortable. She doesn't bake-why does she need that big ass KITCHEN AID sitting on her counter?

Was anyone else disappointed that Sheldon didn't do the "*knock-knock-knock* Meemaw" thing three times?

I was looking for that as well. But yes, reading on, I do remember the story about him catching his dad in bed with another woman.  good catch.

  9. Did it drive anyone else crazy, that Jen tried to remove the broccolini from the pan with a flat bamboo spatula? I get she's not a cook, nor does she like to cook, but for goodness' sake you are a smart woman, a doctor-you couldn't think to grab tongs????

If Alex shows up for Thanksgiving in a few weeks, home from college with a new "Asian friend" in tow to experience a down-home American Thanksgiving, I will throw something at my TV!  It would be a great opportunity for Ree to haul-out the requisite "Asian flavor profile" ingredients to doctors up the dinner. I can just see her adding a huge glob of wasabi to the heavy cheesy mashed potatoes and soy sauce to the turkey brine. Chinese five-spice Brussels sprouts, anybody?

While I got a chuckle out of this post, I actually saw a video on FB yesterday, where the turkey brine included a cup of soy sauce! I was shocked and bewildered all at the same time. I mean, since when???

Berlin. I'm confused on the whole at the approach of the agent.  He was a dismissive asshole who felt pretty darn sexist to me as well.

I don't think the friend was bad at all at the end of the day, I think she was painted as a nag and it's the only way she was ever going to come off because she was the only one living in reality and ruining the fun of this spoiled manchild who wants all eyes on him and the devil agent who is either having the time of his life creating the idea of an insult real estate agent or one who sees dollar signs if he gets this diva into a higher priced rental. When he does show something truly in budget, he gets a place that couldn't be liked by this guy in a million years style wise. But giving us the opportunity to see how much of a self-centered guy he is, literally saying the floors were distracting because it takes guests eyes off of what is important with a full flourish of the hand towards his face indicating himself, like something David on Schitt's Creek would do for real. I assume the last place wasn't actually available when he looked or he would've gone for that, because the second place was a joke and I'd say there's got to be a middle ground between the 1st and the 3rd place that was never shown.

The manchild purposely brought his friend to keep him in check and they said the same thing happened when searching for his place in NYC. He trusts her opinion on many facets of his life and this was no different. And this wasn't a joke budget and there's no partner or husband there with him who will hopefully be getting a job soon to ease the financial pressure. So, the friend kept pointing out realistic things and thus came off as a bit of a mother-hen, but since neither him nor the constantly insulting realtor were going to be realistic, it's good someone was.

Not sure what the producers were going for here, but I'd be thrilled to not see this agent again. I think they thought this was a bit of an Adrian Leads in Paris or Richard in London personality, but there was entirely too much bite to this guy. He started with claws out with the insults and the dismissive attitude, he wasn't even trying to be civil or funny or charming to start from where I sat. The friend was definitely killing me with the idea that his window covering idea meant that her friend was fat, but I also can't blame her for being overly sensitive to every word out of his mouth since she was made to be the butt of all his insults from the word go.

    Schitt's Creek - awesome show!

And yes, this was was a painful episode to watch. I think the realtor was hoping for an eventual hookup. In the over budget apartment with the "stairway to heaven." view of the city? All I saw were rooftops and a steeple.

What do we think about that all (or most) of  the sibs using "Lovey" as a nickname/endearment?

When I hear "Lovey" all I can think of is Mrs. Howell from Gilligan's Island.

I thin one of them said they got it from Jill and Derek- sounds to me like they might have been doing it to mock them.

I totally agree.  They were sweet, but I think she would get on my nerves after a while.  I KNOW she has a lot of clothes and shoes and stuff, but if the master closet is pretty big, can't you make do with it and have hubby use a closet in a different bedroom?  I guess she wanted the whole "large dressing room / closet" set up.

The house from the 80s would need a LOT of work.  At least $100,000 in mechanicals and updating and decorating.

The island on an angle would drive me insane.  Eww.  I think I'm slightly OCD, because just thinking out it gives me the willies.  I'd have to take that island out and reposition it or do a brand new one set up like most kitchen islands are.

OMG, thank you for that on the island! I was wondering if it was just me who didn't get it? What is the purpose of that?

And seriously, I know Columbus wife was on TV, but she must think she's a superstar, needing a dressing room. AND, it HAS to be connected to the Master! What? A room down the hall, just won't do?

  14. So glad everyone saw this episode the same way I did. What a shrew that wife was! Grand! McMansion! Bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone! My ass! In my mind, if you keep the bedrooms to a minimum, then you don't have the whole family showing up at once, and if they do, you make due. It's a vacation home for God's sake! That first house was way too pretentious to be a vacation home. And if the plan is to retire there, why would you want such a big house? I was SO happy that the husband got his way for a change-that house was just adorable and would have been my first choice as well.  He kinda grated with the "beachy-cottage" shtick, but she was way worse. Of course, she needed "open-concept" so she could always have the child and husband in sight. I do not have an open concept home, and it works for me. I would be seething if I were working hard in the kitchen, and had to watch the husband just sit there relaxing and watching TV!

I am also totally clueless as to why someone would only buy one Apple and I grew up in a family of two kids.

I thought the same thing, and then I thought perhaps she meant, she didn't realize that you could buy them one at a time, rather than by the bag. Or maybe I am giving her too much credit. Out of the whole brood, she's the one I am rooting for to tell the rest of them to F OFF!
