Jalyn was in the ihop pic, but if I’m keeping track correctly, we have had one person claiming to have insider info who said she is probably getting cut, then another claiming inside info who said she is fine and well liked by Judy and Kelli. So yeah, could go either way. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for her.

My guess would be someone in the picture is who was cut. That’s how it was with Tara. Like a group “goodbye” dinner.

I agree with the guess that it's someone in the picture that was cut, and from the hints I'm thinking it's someone well liked that gets cut.  I wouldn't be suprised if it is a vet either, but something tells me it will be someone we won't be happy about or someone we haven't potentially guessed yet.

Y’all just for clarity’s sake, the insider who stated that the remaining two cuts would be “hard” and “ surprising” also said no one was cut last night , while  another insider said someone was. They can’t both be right, so it could be someone is just pulling our legs.

I really have a sinking feeling Kat was cut. I think they are going to make her the new VK in terms of screen time/coverage. When the insider said they are looking for good teammates and ambassadors etc etc, I read that whole thing as "NOT necessarily fan favorites". Like "There are some people you don't like who stay and some people who you DO like who get sent home because they aren't good teammates/ambassadors."

Couldn’t agree more about Maddie and Amy.  Two of the most non-DCC looking DCC’s ever and they put them at point - smh.  Hard to believe this was once a team known for their glamour and sex appeal.   Neither are even photogenic and Maddie had weight issues all last year.

I appreciate K&J trying something new and different with 2 points and what not, but holy hell they clearly picked those 2 based on personality and tenure alone.  

I'm sure they're both "so honored" but it has to suck (even if just a little) to share point.

Mackenzie is the only former DCC I know on a personal level and I second this! She was very well liked.

I’d say tenure bc Amy is bubbly and bland and Maddie still comes off as beyond immature and awkward and also a little bit high school snotty. Plus I know I’m not the best writer ever but she sounds kinda not that bright to me.

I don't know her, but this makes me happy -- she came across as having a great work ethic and I would be disappointed to find out that she was a bitch in RL.  Two of my favorite moments - the year she made the team (the reveal) and when she was front and center doing the hip hop dance with the guest choreographer (I think that was the year she made show group).

I like Maddie -- I think she is a great dancer, but not for point - she looks soft (those weight issues last year?)

I am not sure that they had a great field to choose from for point.  I think Lexie looks DCC, but isn't that strong a dancer.  Gina can dance her ass off, but is not typical DCC looks wise.  Heather is a good dancer, but to me, she looks more athletic than dancer.  JMHO.

I remember one calendar shoot and her eye make up looked really wonkey, but damn I wish I had her hair -- and I am a brunette.

You guys do realize (outside this board at least cause woof some people are really harsh) Maddie is super popular? As in most people wanted her for point? Probably a very big factor as to why she’s there and if she stays will be point next year...

Hi, y'all! WOW, what a night and what a day on this forum.

So with point(s) announced, I just want to congratulate Amy and Maddie on their ascension. They both seem to be incredibly kindhearted individuals and dedicated to the DCC program. Like many here, not quite sure how pumped I am at this news, but oh well I guess. I guess my main problem is not that it's unwelcome news to me, but sort of well ... anti-climatic. It just seems like, as a previous poster said, TPTB got a bit scared of rocking the boat and went with their safest bets.

And of course, I too am waiting to hear who those final cuts are. Don't know how I would feel about a vet being cut this late as it would bring back icky memories of last year with Tara, and believe me I don't want to be reminded of that s**tshow! 😡

Seriously, though. Hands off of Hannah Kelli and Judy! lol.

I feel like no matter what happened with Jalyn and Victoria and if they are somehow punishing Jayln, they will never cut her because she is probably in the top 3 best dancers on the team. TPTB know that they need Jayln regardless. 

Its a very similar situation with Holly. When the drama ensued and she was called to the office, Kelli said that she wanted to cut her but didn’t. Kelly knew that Holly was definitely an asset to the team. So she held of cutting her until Holly herself decided to resign.

Another board had a lot of people who thought Gina or Heather should be point.  I don't know that popularity is the criteria for point -- it would be interesting to know what criteria is used when making the decision.

On the show, they have said the ability to lead the team on the field, and know the dances - which when it comes down to it, is to know Thunderstruck backwards and forwards.  The group leaders have to know all the dances for sidelines, plaza, etc.  I mean, if Amy goofed up during ONE performance, it's different than if she goofed up a routine she has been doing for 5 years.

Well, somebody thought it a good idea to blow her face up to the size of a wall in the studio.  One doesn’t do that to dogs.  Plus, Maddie has little girl Lolita looks when she dances.  That’s a turn on for some.

In my opinion, Maddie is logical to be point on her own.  She was in row two last year and LM and KG retired.  What’s the head scratcher is Amy getting half of point.  Really?  Chica goes from the fourth row to the point?
