Yes. He was up to his ankles in season 1, now he is up to his knees.

Here's a side-by-side comparison from reddit. I think I agree with some of the commenters that the designer probably took some liberties and  made the baby bigger so he would stand out more.

The Mandalorian exclusive: First look inside season 2

Excerpt...

Quote

Expect the Outer Rim to get a lot more crowded in season 2. While Disney has not confirmed any new cast members or their characters, there's a rogue's gallery of actors who seem optimized for a Comic-Con panel reportedly coming on board: Rosario Dawson (Sin City) as Clone Wars fan favorite Jedi apostate Ahsoka Tano, Temuera Morrison (who played Jango Fett in the prequels) playing presumably some version of a clone trooper or iconic bounty hunter Boba Fett, Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) as a live-action version of Bo-Katan Kryze, and also Michael Biehn (The Terminator) and Timothy Olyphant (Justified) as unknown characters.

“Some of them are true, some are not true,” says Gina Carano, who plays mercenary Cara Dune on the show. Carano notes the heightened secrecy included actors getting scripts only for their own episodes and being ushered to sets in black cloaks and hoods like incognito Sith Lords.

“The new season is about introducing a larger story in the world,” says Favreau. “The stories become less isolated, yet each episode has its own flavor, and hopefully we’re bringing a lot more scope to the show.” Adds Filoni, “Everything gets bigger, the stakes get higher, but also the personal story between the Child and the Mandalorian develops in a way I think people will enjoy.”

Also...

Quote

As Mando and the Child continue their quest, expect the bounty hunter to face a series of obstacles that will increasingly challenge his paternal loyalty to his ward. “We start very directly after the first [season] and he's going into very dangerous territory," Pascal, 45, says. "He is very much a passenger to the experience in unexpected ways — not knowing what’s to come, not knowing how much or how best to protect the Child. We don’t know how far he will go to do that, and they’re finding new ways to push the envelope.”

In addition to wearing a helmet nearly all the time on screen, Pascal points out that Mando’s motivations are largely obscured as well. “On a moment-to-moment basis, he’s discovering that question: ‘What do you want?’” the Game of Thrones veteran says. “That isn’t clear to him, or to me." Adds Filoni, “We think we know how the characters are going to react, and it can be surprising how they do react.”

Mando and the Child are pursued by Gideon, who will serve as a source of temptation, in the classic tradition of Star Wars villains trying to lure heroes down darker paths. “I’ll be going toe-to-toe with Mando,” says Esposito, who was nominated for an Emmy for his first-season performance. “It’s an iconic battle. I want to disarm him mentally as well. Who knows? Maybe there’s an opportunity to get him to fight some battles for me. You may think I’m a villain, but I’m trying to harness some energy and some powers for a path that could be best for all. You'll get to see him be somewhat diplomatic and more of a manipulator."

I checked Disney+ and I don't see any of these pictures anywhere in my account just yet, but someone tipped off Jason from Making Star Wars about some extra Season 2 photos that flew under the radar and popped up on Disney+.

So if you still have your Disney+ account now, check and see if you can find them lurking somewhere.  However, if you are not planning on getting Disney+ again until next month, thankfully someone took screen shots of the 6 or 7 new photos and they are included in this article --

"Disney+ has new images from Star Wars: The Mandalorian’s next season!"

It looks like The Child has a new floating pram.

Edited to add:  I guess these pics showed up on the Xbox version of Disney+ (which explains why I can't see them).

There are extra pictures in this article from Star Wars News Net too --

"New ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2 Images Appeared to User on His Disney Plus Xbox App"

Mando has a spear pistol??? Did he cross over into Tenet where time is going in reverse??

Is the one-eyed alien O.G. Kyle Reese?

I just did too! lol  So funny.

To me, this seems like a very short trailer (compared to a trailer for The Boys I was just watching the other day), so I assume we will see another one coming up before 10/30.

But I'm glad this one came out now, because, quite frankly, some of the Star Wars fans out there are annoying as hell, and they were behaving as though their lives were going to be destroyed if they didn't get a trailer right now.  Now they will probably complain because Ahsoka wasn't in the trailer, as they seem to think Ahsoka is the focus of the show now.

New poster too --

I've now watched the season 2 trailer multiple times and every time I watch it I think the bantha says "Where?" at 0:36.

I cannot un-see it.

I wonder if they did that on purpose to be funny? I can't believe no one at Disney noticed that while reviewing it.

So I'm assuming the Creative Emmys broadcast on Saturday night will be a mixture of clips from the previous 5 days of handing out the awards? I normally don't watch the creative awards, but I am recording it this year.

Ludvig just won a Creative Arts Emmy, so that makes 6 for the Mando team -- and still counting!

I am watching the ceremony on FXX.  Ludvig was not available to give an acceptance speech, sadly.

Does this mean Ludwig Goransson is halfway to EGOT?

I could be totally wrong, but I thought he had an Oscar and at least one Grammy already.  So he just needs to get involved in the world of musicals or stage productions so he can get that Tony!

Ludwig and the orchestra finished recording the last episode of season 2 yesterday. Pedro posted some really cute photos of himself in the studio from season 1. Ludwig's wife, who is a violinist, replied "Congratulations to you Pedro! It is such an honor to be in the afterglow of the magic you bring to the screen. Cannot wait for Mando fans to see Season 2!" Then Pedro replied "they gonna lose their 💩".

Hopefully we'll lose our 💩 in a good way! 😄

Ludwig's baby looks adorable and he's wearing an adorable goofy Baby Yoda hat.  Aahh, Ludwig's wife is supporting Pedro. Who is facing a lot of Internet crap right now because he so obviously can't say anything about season 2.

Well it's working.  I might actually order my first ever Funko Pop.

They are most definitely shameless, but also - geniuses.

And I admit, I have no shame.  I've already pre-ordered The Child from Lego.  I love Lego and this is just the perfect addition to my collection. 😉

I may also purchase my second ever Funko Pop.  (I have a Baby Groot holiday edition one that I just got this summer.)

Hey, Disney+ is the only branch of the company that's healthy now. Gotta find a way to keep the lights on.

Maybe it's just perspective, but the speeder bike looks a little too small. Have you ever seen a grown man on a kid's bike? Like that.

I think it's just the perspective.  Or that it's a drawing and not a photo, and the artist clearly wants the emphasis on Mando.

Fair enough. But it annoys me anyway.

There's an article in Variety about The Mandalorian, that talks about the possibility of a film, and expanding storylines of certain characters. Nothing concrete, it just sounds like they're considering everything at this point. Also, they expect to be able to start filming season 3 this year...

Soon enough, Pascal will slip on his character’s signature helmet once more. Executive producer and showrunner Jon Favreau told Variety that “The Mandalorian” is “on schedule” to start production on Season 3 of the series “before the end of the year” — after Pascal wraps shooting in Europe on the feature film “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent” with Nicolas Cage.

I've seen reports that they are planning to leverage the technology that The Mandalorian uses for filming to deal with covid for other Disney film and TV productions.  T avoid location shooting and that kind of thing.

Assuming there is some kind of programming / world building / set up timeline for that kind of thing, I wouldn't be surprised if the greenlight or fast track more  of their Mandalorian or Star Wars ideas just because they will probably to be faster to get going with the ability to leverage what the Mandalorian already has in place from seasons1/2.

Something Mandalorian related is happening on ESPN this Monday during the game - it was officially announced by ESPN and they are calling it a "special look" into the second season.

I've read that they are using The Volume (is that what it's called? I think so) for Thor: Love and Thunder.  It may help Marvel movies get back on track.

Well, they are determined to not give anything away, aren't they?  Underwhelming preview such as it was.  But I rather be underwhelmed  by a preview than the actual show.  Only 10 more days til we find out if this show can keep it going for the second season.

Same here. But we know the Mythrol is back! At least it looks like the same one from season 1. I wonder how he got out of the carbonite? I also wonder if Mando's line "I need your help. I've been quested to bring this one back to its kind" is actually pulled from a different scene. It wouldn't make sense for him to say it to Cara and Greef since they already know his quest.

Yes, I was wondering too because Cara and Greef already know about the quest.  It has to be trailer trickery and he is speaking to somebody else there.

Could he have just served his sentence and be done already?  I don't know how that works.

I think the line has to have been said to someone else in a different scene.  That definitely makes no sense to tell Greef and Cara something they witnessed firsthand.

I've always had the impression that bounty hunters in Star Wars are used by more nefarious groups or individuals to track down people, not necessarily to find criminals that were convicted in a court of law. If they were used by an actual sanctioned law enforcement group, like one that The New Republic might have, I would think they would only pay money for top criminals, not ones that could be released so soon.

Don't expect any advance reviews and last minute leaks of season 2 episodes.  Disney and Lucasfilm are not sending advance screeners to the press.

Laughs. That's going to lead to some very hasty after midnight reviews.  And maybe less early pirating.
