I am though starting to wonder if the main goal all along was just to perform on stage in Vegas as a story line. Not that she didn't want Shane there. Since Shane doesn't approve she just might go on stage with her sister-in-law.

Hear me out on this - since Emily revealed her bullying at the reunion several vendors have begun to sponsor her to showcase their products. One of them being a beauty company Alkali - it includes makeup and hair product. She mentions her alopecia coming back and voila - gorgeous thick hair is shown next to alkali shampoo in her Instagram post. She is on SM  the face/model of the brand and the show to promote it. She's riding on being a "real" woman - real sized, women empowerment, yada, yada.

Remember I had said I found it strange in the tagline - it's Shane, 3 kids and THE SISTER-IN-LAW.

Emily will perform and at least she has rhythm unlike other HWs performances - i.e. Luann, Kim Z, Erika

Ugh!  I'm starting to believe the only reason Shane's family approved of Emily doing RHOC is because it coincided with their plans to horn in on the camera big time.  Both Pary and her daughter play to the camera and it's embarrassing. 

Everything on Pary's head looks fake - the hair, the skin, the teeth.  And she never fails to overdress for everything -- a non-milestone family birthday get-together merits a long, clingy red evening gown, gloves and fur stole.  Like she's just landed here from 1941 Hollywood. 

Last time she was on, I remember her being extraordinarily short.  She must have had stilts on under that gown.

Emily is so starved for approval, I bet she'd never take her MIL shopping and insist she buy a couple of items of casual clothing that would be more appropriate for when Grandma and Grandpa visit family in OC.  Just so she doesn't go around with her too-much-ness, looking like a weirdo.

I mean, people around here just don't dress up -- certainly not like THAT.

I live in L.A. and the older Persian women dress as such--might be a cultural thing? Here is my take: Shane is gay. Very gay. His mother wanted him to marry/have kids, and he did, to please his crazy-ass mother. So now, he has dumped his wife off on his mother like, "here, you wanted this, here you go." All parties are moving forward without him.

Shane already did this with his first marriage. He had 2 daughters with wife one.

I think he married Emily to try to get full custody of his daughters. I might not be remembering this correctly, but I could have sworn Emily made some not so nice remarks about Shane's ex.

I think it's both of them - it's from Emily's Instagram - and in other posts she talks about the great Simpson Parties they throw - I wonder if the event planning is a family business or partnership between (Emily and her sister-in-law)

Personally, I think Braunwyn was right to tell Kelly that people were talking about her. She was going to have her over and it would be awkward. The way she did it was more about giving Kelly a head's up. 

The way Emily did it was not. Kelly already knew. And the entire group was there. And it oh-so-conveniently got the heat off of Emily and her issues with Shannon. 

I generally like Emily, but that seemed super manipulative. I've also noticed that she does tend to REALLY go off on social media.
