I'm still happily entertained by this show and these people.  I don't really care how ridiculous some of it is, I like the visuals, and I'm invested in them all too much by now to want them gone.  

I remember seeing that same kind of see through "dress" style on celebrities in red carpet & step-and-repeat photos, and thinking it was not a great look.  It was definitely WAY too much for this particular party, but Kathryn looks at all events (big or small) as opportunities to have fun dressing up.  She has a go big or go home mentality when it comes to fashion, and she looks very beautiful when glammed up, she wears dramatic make-up well, but I do wish she would look at what she wants to wear to a party, and then go with something at least one notch quieter.  It's like putting on accessories and then removing at least one of them...she still needs to learn the art of less is more when it comes to her looks.  She can still be bold without having to wear the curtains AND the rod.

For the first time, I thought Cameran's dress was a big fail.  Normally I really like her style, or at least think she is always wearing something appropriate for the occasion, but the satin sheet gown didn't do it for me.  I'm glad Jason made an appearance, even though he was clearly a bit unnerved by the cameras.  I don't like Cam going on so much about her crush on Metul.  Part of that is because I don't like Metul, but Jason is too good of a guy to embarrass with that nonsense even if it is just a joke.

Naomie looked stunning at the party, I loved that dress on her.  I enjoyed the little moment in the show with her mother, seeing the photos of her at Naomie's age.  I personally think Naomie can do better than Metul, but she doesn't think so, and that's a shame. She will put up with his humorless, dominant personality because she believes that's the price of getting someone out of her league.  

I guess Ashley thought wearing the dress that Patricia helped pick out for her, along with the same shoulder bag, was going to somehow be an F-You to Patricia, but it only made her whole appearance that much more pathetic.  Of course she is the kind of person who considers calling 911 because she was thrown out of a party she was not invited to. I do not think any of her reactions are fake, she's really that unhinged and frenetic. The woman who went to the party with Ashley looked completely shell-shocked by the end, like she was questioning all of her life choices that had led up to that moment, and considering self-admitting into a quiet place where she can get lots of therapy.

Poor Danni, still trying to make "Shep did not give me chlamidia!" happen.  It's not going to happen, Danni.  99% of us believe he did, but we are not judging you for it, girl, we are judging him for spreading it around, and for telling Austin.  I know it's embarrassing, and you want your family to have enough reasonable doubt to tell themselves it never happened, but just be thankful it wasn't herpes and keep on being the kind person you are. You win at being a more than decent human being, and everyone is finally seeing Shep for the sleazebag he is.

I'm glad Kathryn canceled her plans to ride to the party with Austen and Madisin when she realized it was hurting her best friend.  But also, why did she not put together that it was a bad idea without Danni having to tell her?  I hope she is still with Hunter, he makes her giddy, and I like a not-so-tall man who is willing to date a very tall, larger than life woman like Kathryn.  He's comfortable and confident in his own skin, and besides Jason, might be the only man on this show who has that going for him. 

Shep looked like a maniac during all of his frantic denials and defensive rantings about how much he TOTALLY DOESN'T CARE OMG THAT IS RIDICULOUS HAHAHAHA!!! about Austen and Madisin being together.  Loved the flashback that showed even 4 years ago Madisin was unimpressed by Shep.  He absolutely can't handle it. His parents must be mortified by everything he has said and done this season, because it has all been either stupid or awful.  He spent almost a million dollars on a lousy piece of property that Cameran warned him against, and he's been all downhill from there.  Yes, his dog is cute, I follow Lil Craig on Instagram, I can't lie.  But he should have adopted instead of buying from a breeder, which he would never do because he thinks that's what poor trash people like Madisin would do.  He has his parents' money to spend, so why not throw a couple thousand on a designer dog.  A precious and adorable designer dog, dammit. I wish I could be totally mad about that because I am a big proponent of animal rescue and adoption, but Lil Craig is a chunk nugget of cuteness that I can't properly nitpick.

Even better than Austen telling Craig to "fuck off, please", I liked how swiftly and politely Craig DID fuck right off.  Don't have to tell him twice!  I can sort of see Shep wording the date situation in a way that sounded mildly funny to Craig beforehand, and he didn't give it any real thought until he saw how everyone else reacted to the "joke" and realized Shep had fooled him again.  Austen called Craig a "beautiful idiot" on WWHL, and I can't disagree with that.  I don't think Craig would ever want to consciously use or truly hurt anyone, and Shep would know exactly how to twist the situation around to convince Craig to take part without realizing the whole thing was SUPER SHITTY and gross in lots of ways, not even remotely funny. At least Craig admitted it was very uncool of them to do, but Shep will never admit that one of his ideas is anything less than brilliant.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen Cameron wearing something I didn’t like.  She usually looks so put together.  Her husband seems like a good man and for his sake I hope he continues to limit his appearance on the show.

I’m with the rest of you, Kathryn looked like a complete idiot in that outfit.  The top was revealing enough, but that sheer bottom!  It did look like something from a cheap sexy lingerie shop.  She’s a big girl and was clearly self conscious about her stomach and thighs.  

I don’t know what’s going on with Craig but I don’t know what he’ll do when this gravy train dries up.  That looks like it could be coming sooner than later.

First of all, if this was really Patricia’s party, she could have made sure Ashley never got inside the gate, much less into the building and up the stairs.

Bringing the girls from the threesome video was all the producers doing.  In fact I think they rigged the video in the first place, to drum up interest in this season.  Then they milked it, kept playing the video over and over.

Sure Shep is an asshole but that was his role for this season, to take it to the hilt.  Austen and Madison wouldn’t each be sitting down with him if this was a real thing.  Even Austen would have swung on him.

But they have no reason to be upset about these women being at the party because neither of them slept with him!

And now the coda to this episode shows Ashley and Landon selfie.  Yeah again another rigged social media thing to keep the viewers hooked.  Maybe Ashley and Landon will make an appearance next season and Kathryn will have two nemeses.

I also don’t buy that Kathryn and Whitney hooked up.  I distrust ever major story line these ham-handed producers tried to push this season.

That flashback to four years ago with Shep trying to chat up Madison just really drove home how bad Shep looks now.  He's aged 15 years in 4.  There's got to be something harder than booze and no sleep at work there.

On the other side of the spectrum, Hunter looked barely 18.  

I just do not get the use of the contortionist in the giant champagne glass and the woman on stilts outside greeting people.  It was like they took leftover scraps from bad Real Housewives parties to set dress this absurdly contrived wrap party.

Really, the only story arc that was satisfying was Eliza realizing, by the end of the season, those ratty extensions from the first Patricia party needed to be replaced.

Cameran clearly has the upper hand in her relationship, as does Metul in his, which is why they're both "allowed" to get away with this garbage.  Me?  I'd leave the party if my SO did this.

I normally love Cameran, and I was so pleased to see her darling husband join her, but she was awful here.  She needs to take her mattress-pad dress and go home.  Literally the ugliest thing she's ever worn.

The only thing that Shep could say in defense of his asinine behavior this season, is if he claims the producers made him do it.  But, even that wouldn't work for me, because, when you are on a reality show, you are saying that it's really how you are. So, for me, whether it's true OR you are pretending it's true, makes no difference.  Still slimy.  It's not like you are acting in a fictional role on a scripted show, imo.  

I didn't care for Kathryn's party outfit last night, but, I do have to say that it's better than the other things she's worn to parties! lol  The bar was pretty low.

The Cam and Metul little storyline is not cute. How would people react if Jason was sniffing around Naomie and following her around? Not so funny, right Cam? 

Hunter looks like he is about 15 and Katherine really dwarfs him. He appears to be nice.

Austin was on WWHL last night. He didn't reveal much about Madison, but it definitely sounds like they are on and off. As someone else mentioned, he was recently in the Hamptons with Craig and Shep and they were hanging out with Ramona, of all people.

Madison has never been a conquest of Shep's, so that enrages him. I would bet that Shep's parents are not bothered by his behavior regarding Madison. Afterall, she is a hairdresser and white trash according to Shep. Just my opinion, but I imagine Shep's family to be quite snobby and elitist. His brother married into a very wealthy family. I don't know about his sister. I don't know that anyone with a middle class background would ever be good enough.

I just rewatched and it was even more inappropriate then I remembered. Cameran kept looking back at Metul to see if he was still looking at her. Then they showed him looking over at her while Naomie was talking to him! I can’t believe the editors highlighted this. It’s NOT cute. Jason finally agrees to an appearance and ends up being humiliated by his wife. Real nice. 

Methinks their marriage might be on slightly shaky ground since Cameran became a mom and feels very tied down. She reminded me of Marisa Zanuck on that RHOBH season last night. Marisa was talking about other men being more her type, in front of her husband. They are now divorced.

I have never heard Patricia's definition of a stag party, which to me is either a bachelor party or an all-male party of some other sort, and all these dictionaries (to be fair I didn't look at every single one, but about half) agree with me. stag party definition

Patricia's stag party was bizarre....the ice sculpture was gorgeous......then it took an odd turn.....part circus, part Mardi Gras and part granny.  Shep is despicable and the leg shaking really must be a thing with him when he is upset because it was going 90 to nothing when he was talking to Madison.  Speaking of....she redeemed herself a bit from last week with how she handled Shep this time around and actually apologized for going low.  Danni I think really is  a good and caring person.  Kathryn.....girl is a bit dense but I think at her core she is sweet.  Ashley....she is nuts, that's all.  I am in the minority but Cam can wear a paper bag and look adorable so still looked lovely.  Metul is an ass.  Jason is a cutie and it was fun to see him finally make an appearance although the Metul flirting was a bit much.  Craig.....he is a total follower.  Whitney......it just seems funny to me hearing a 50 year old man brag about shredding a guitar....he is still a handsome man.  Eliza turned out to be a sweetheart, I will gladly accept her back next season.  The 'video' girls were not cute at all.  I hope the show can get back to its original roots because it has really played out......

Like I said previously, Madison is Shep's unicorn. They're both strong-willed assholes, they fit each other like gloves. 

For all of Shep's dissing of Madison as white trash, no one behaved more like a white trash this whole season than Shep. Especially this episode. Already went to the party drunk, wiped his shoes off a dress, brought two party girls, got even drunker as the night went on, etc.

Also dude, the more you keep screaming "I don't care...I DON'T CAAAAAARRREEEEEEE...." shows how much you actually do care. I guess all that vocabulary in his head didn't leave too much for common sense and some emotional intelligence. 

Was it a mandate to fill Thomas's shoes in terms of douchebaggery this season?

Of course! What else is new?! And maybe not so much a spoiler alert anymore - He and Austen are still pounding beers and shots together, and probably banging the same chicks. 

One thing that stood out to me this season, I think it was an earlier episode. Shep knows he can't fully cross Madison because she's great friends with Patricia. He told Craig, or someone else, "But she's good friends with Patricia, so I gotta be careful with that..."

Hmmm, I guess even with his country club boy credentials, he still needs the approval of people he thinks are in his same class of society??? Maybe he's not so elite after all.

Craig absolutely hit the nail on the head.  Shep cannot stand to see anyone happy.  He is such a petty, miserable prick that he will resort to childish antics in order to make a so-called friend uncomfortable and upset.  Why anyone would want to be friends with Shep is beyond me.  I mean, I get why Cameran is - - she's a shit stirrer and Shep gives her plenty of drama.  But anyone else?  The only redeeming quality Shep has is Little Craig.  #FreeLittleCraig 

I'm amazed that we got to see Jason, Cameran's husband.  He looked uncomfortable (except when talking shop with Metul) around Cam's circle of friends.  And especially when Cam was making cow eyes at Metul and getting handsy with him. 

For Patricia to call Ashley (or anyone else) cat on a hot tin trailer roof is the height of irony while standing next to Kathryn, who looks like a (maybe) high priced Russian escort (TM Joao, BDM)  I can't believe that Patricia, High Priestess of Southern Manners and Elegance, was okay with that getup Kathryn had on.  Tacky, sleazy and not flattering at all.  Kathryn needs a stylist, pronto.  

And Kathryn, girl, the fact that you can't understand why Whitney doesn't want to discuss your hookups publicly - - after he's said he's attempting to be a gentleman and protect both of your reputations - - is highly suspect.  Be grateful.  (Although I believe he likely doesn't want everyone to know that he's hitting pretty much what all his friends have also hit.  YMMV)

No, that outfit was nothing like a high priced Russian escort.  Streetwalker, maybe.  It was literally one of the ugliest outfits I've ever seen, as well as sleazy and tacky so I have no idea what look she thought she was going for.   That Patricia even let that walk into her house is shocking, much less that she didn't make a single comment about it.

I also do not see how or why Madison and Patricia would have even crossed paths, much less be good friends.  Producer driven bullshit, like this entire season.

Cam drooling over Metul is just pathetic and bordering on sexual harassment. Jason looked clueless and Naomi looked pissed!

I love Chelsea. She’s the only one in this bunch with any real brains, sense and class.

Ashley’s appearance was a real let down  I wanted screaming. scratching and hair pulling! I can’t believe she wanted to call 911  but I can believe she called Thomas. She won’t get off that money train until it’s all paid out to his victims.

I thought maybe she zigged when she should have zagged at the dress shop and ended up in the Lingerie Dept. and was confused.

I'm also amazed Patricia did not at some point take her aside and tell her that in future, this type of outfit is completely inappropriate.  Considering all she's been trying to do to rehabilitate herself in the eyes of the Charmers, now that T-Rav isn't pouring poison in their ears, you would think she'd maybe take a long look at her fashion and life choices and straighten up.  She's not the "baby" of the cast anymore.  She's a mother of two young children.  I'm all for yes, go out and have a a social life, but Jesus Jumped Up Christ in a Sidecar, girl - look around at what the other women are wearing for God's sake.   Your fashion choices say less "old Southern family" and more "Attention Whore".  I won't even get into the Ringling Bros. hair and makeup.  

Ashley and Landon.  I'm with the poster upstairs who thinks the Skank Twins will be paying Charleston a visit next season.  

BTW - since Thomas was mentioned at the beginning of the episode, is there any update on his charges?

Honestly, Naomie is young, famous (or at least fame-adjacent) and attractive, and she could do much better than Metul. He probably knows it, too, which is why he keeps making these nasty little remarks to cut her down to size. It is also possible that being mean is just how he is. Either way, he's an asshole. Naomie's mom being all in favour of this relationship makes me seriously question her judgment.

Also, is Metul "husband material"? He sure does not have a husband material personality. If he's that mean and critical with her, imagine how he'd be with their kids. He doesn't deserve your butter chicken, much less your hand in marriage, girl. Run away.
