I feel like the production value on the trailer is maybe higher than on the show itself but I'm intrigued. Was one of those scenes actually filmed outside? (Is Days itself back to doing that occasionally? Shocking if true.)

I don't mind Cin in general, but put some respect on Lisa Rinna's name. There is no logical reason for Cin to be front and center. They are supporting characters to Lisa's Billie. They seriously don't think they are the draw here. 

Lisa, Eileen, Chandler, and Christie are the main draws for me.

It starts on Stack TV (Canadian streaming service) Sept. 6. However, those of us who don’t have that service or want to pay $12.99 for it along with Amazon Prime, will need to wait til October when it shows up on W Network or the Global TV app.

As long as Carlivati is writing this mini series ,i will simply set my expectations to be as low as possible .

I expect more shambolic plot based writing .

The new mini series sounded like it could be decent until they confirmed the Ratings killer couple (Ciara & Ben )  were going to be in the mini series. Because of this ,the show is now dead on arrival .

Well, this is very Campy :)  We have Paulina showing off her fancy mansion to Abe, Lani&Eli, we have Anna & Tony showing up to talk to Carrie & Austin, we have Ben & Ciara in New Orleans who run into a very interesting person!  And then Chad visiting Will & Sonny in Phoenix(which I have no idea how they fit into the rest of the story), but everybody else is connected to the Theft of the jewels that had been stolen from Alamania(I love that the jewels are in a Peacock: way for NBC to promote :) )

I noticed that the last time Lisa Rinna came back to Days. She wasn’t acting. She was playing herself. The same thing happened when Kelly Ripa came back to AMC for 2 episodes. She wasn’t playing Haley Vaughn. She was playing just herself, too. I thought it was odd since she had played Haley for 12 years. She’s done her talk show for twice as long and forgot how to act. When Julianne Moore came back to ATWT for one episode she still acted like Frankie Hughes though. That’s because she can actually act. LOL!!!!

Yeah, I wasn't expecting much from LR but really...what character is there to Billie anyway? What was her personality back in the day? It shifted a lot from actress to actress and plotline to plotline from what I remember.

I just watched the first episode. It's definitely...interesting. Definitely feels like they rushed production on this. I kinda wish they'd taken a bit more time to polish it up because it feels kinda cheap, lol. The music is cheesy, the stock footage is straight out of the 90s, and it seems like everyone learned their lines the day before they started filming, haha.

That said, I like it so far, lol. And everyone looks fantastic. Nice to see Chad and Sonny NOT wearing business attire for a change. I really like Chad's shirt..he looked great in it. NuSonny acts a bit more...frantic and high strung than Freddie was. Judgement still out on him.

Billie had a hard life so she was defensive and very guarded.  She had been forced into drugs and porn by her dad..so she had a chip on her shoulder.

Kristen's Billie had a softer take on the character, but she could be crafty and manipulative...and that came to the surface after she was held hostage and given drugs against her will.  Bo helped her, and she became desperate to hold onto him because of past trauma. Her Billie also helped Lucas with handling his alcoholism as well.

Julie Pinson's Billie looked like Rinna..but she didn't have the edge of Rinna's Billie nor the manipulative edge of Krista's Billie.  She was kind of boring.

WTF is Ciara wearing?😳 do people actually go out on public dressed like a street walker?! Good Grief. I was young and had an A+ figure many many moons ago and I showed it off also, but never like that,  never outside the bedroom. Nightclub maybe. But walking the streets (🙂) in broad daylight? It’s  not sexy it’s sleezy.

I watched this with some fast forwarding.  It had a B&B feel with the exterior shots.  But I don't think this looks any cheaper than the regular show.  In fact, I wonder how people feel about the new sets that were built for this.  And some of them won't be able to be used for the regular show unless they decide to have everyone go to Miami again.  Or NOLA. 

As someone who was watching the show in 1991 (Thanks for the "30 years later" DOOL, the absolute last thing I need to be reminded of us how long ago I watched this show) during the Alamania story, I feel like something is missing because none of these people were involved in the Alamania story except for Shane.  Even Ciara is being connected through her mother, who only existed via retcon during this period, instead of her father who was there.   And married to Billie.

But Jack, Kayla and Julie were all there and yet somehow not involved with this.  The Dimeras weren't really around then.  While Carrie existed, Billie and Austin hadn't hit town yet.  Ugh.

Dare I hope we get a surprise casting and get Michael Sabatino to show up as this Lord Sebastian person in a dual role?

I laughed when Chad told nu-Sonny that he hardly recognized him and Sonny said it must be the new haircut.

A Jack mention! He took the grandkids camping. Which, lol, Jack Deveraux camping with 2 toddlers? Lord help them all.

I also got a chuckle out of Marlena saying that the peacock was beautiful. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, right Peacock.

Awkward moment when Abe, Lani, and Eli walked into Paulina's Miami "mansion" and were awed by its opulence - that living room looked no bigger than Paulina's apartment in Salem. 

JFC, I thought Ciara was gonna pop out of her ill-fitting tank top. I really hate the trashy way she dresses. 

It was nice seeing Shane and Carrie again. Kind of silly that the ISA needs John to help them find some stolen jewels but if it gets Shane back on my screen, I'm okay with it. Also silly that Anna flew halfway across the globe to go meddle in her middle-age daughter's marriage, but I like Anna so whatever gives her more screetime, I'm okay with that too.

Does Show not know that we are currently in Daylight Saving time?  It's EDT, not EST. Also, are people really running around the streets of the world without masks?

The painting in Paulina's house looked just like Lani's dress.  The mirror bugged me because it kept looking like the picture was askew.

John and Marlena didn't know why they were going to Switzerland till after they got there?

Where is ben getting his money?

Austin was coming on to Abigail not two years ago, he can shut it.

I was wondering why Ben had Ciara's phone, and then I realized that she wasn't carrying a purse.

Chad is such a better person when he's with Sonny and Will than when he's in Salem.

Why didn't Shane do the bidding?

Ciara looked absolutely ridiculous. Just horrible and trashy, which I don't think they're going for so it's just really bad. Also, VK is just a horrible actor.

Why are VP and CC not listed in the opening credits? 

Oh, I really like NuSonny already. Bring him to the regular show!

Don't remember Billie helping Lucas with his alcoholism, but I'll take your word for it. But I HATED Krista Allen's Billie. Hate any Billie, really, but Krista's is #1 in my hatred!

I don't get this streaming show. Will events on Beyond Salem and DOOL happen with references to what happens on the other show?  If not, then what's the point of having both shows airing concurrently. OTOH, if events from BS are indeed mentioned in DOOL, what if DOOL viewers don't have access to Peacock and don't want to get access? Won't they be confused? Or maybe NBC/Comcast don't mind screwing over the DOOL viewers in favor of the BC viewers since the latter is "pay" tv [unless you are an Xfinity customer like me, so Peacock comes with your cable package].

No kidding! She wasn't in a nightclub. I couldn't believe she was just walking around "New Orleans" wearing that...

I’m wondering how it works, too. I watched the digital series before today’s ep. on the digital series, Cin were in NO. On the ep, they were still on their way. I’m going to assume I need to watch the day’s regular ep before watching the digital ep.

The first ep, at least, is part of the free version of Peacock. I assume they all will be since I haven't heard that they aren't.

This. Just awful. I thought she was wearing some 2nd hand thrift shop, not washed yet lingerie’, and forgot to put some clothes on.

She seriously looked like a lady that would be swaggering up and down a street, stopping people asking them if they want a “date”.
