Well considering how Pole runs we can only imagine how he thrusts.

Thank you for ruining sex forever.

Left to my own devices I would have ended up scammed by my personal aladin, so you just saved me a bunch of money.

I wonder what Tiffany really expected life to be like with Ronald in SA. She doesn’t work and his job in the past seems to have been repeatedly breaking the law. Are they going to live with his mom? Does she believe Ronald is going to be an upstanding guy because he graduated from the wellness center? What about school for Daniel? I assume private school will be necessary, are they expecting his mom to pay for it? I bet she says she will homeschool him. She has dragged her child to an environment where he basically can’t play outside, have a cell phone and has to worry about being trafficked like Daddy told him about. So are they just going to spend all day inside together while his mom goes out to work? I feel like little Daniel spends a lot of time not complaining and trying to console/placate his mother as she makes bad decisions. I also don’t think he really understood moving to SA meant leaving home for good.

I think Evelyn sends mixed signals to Corey. I don’t think she’s being clear at all about her intentions. One minute she’ll tell him to get back on the plane and go home but in the next minute she tells him that she could just eat him up.

To be fair, she isn't sending mixed signals at all.  When she said she could just eat him up, she meant with fava beans and a nice chianti.

Vigorous sex can also cause them. (Although I doubt...no, I HOPE  that’s not how Karine got hers.) That’s why women are advised to empty their bladders after sex.

I did briefly think of that too, but quickly brain bleached it out of my mind.  vimsa3 also pointed out another cause, so there can be many causes.

It also crossed my mind that Kareenie seemed to not be aware of the infection until the doctor pressed on her abdomen and pointed it out, and that made me wonder if she was somewhat used to getting the infections or something.

Now I really have to stop analyzing this... more brain bleach.

Yeah, I call foul on the junker car for $6000. Why not buy a car in the US and ship it to Ecuador? It couldn't be more expensive. And how do they repair these lemons? I prefer to think that Corey and Evilyn are coming up with more and more far fetched stories and chortling with glee.

Some countries just have very high taxes on fees when importing a car and only allow the importation of new cars, not used ones.

Totally. I think she’s gorgeous. The notion that thick women have low self esteem and trouble finding dates is a huge myth, I was just pointing out that demographics in the USA certainly wouldn’t prohibit her from finding someone.

Serena Williams is thick. Tiffany is obese.

I did not know this (about imported cars- thank you).

Yes Tiffany is obese, one can be both thick and obese, or thick and world class athlete like Serena. The idea that an obese woman or a fat woman (in her 20s with an actual job) would have to choose between a loser like Ronald or single-hood until death may be something Tiffany is telling herself. Tiffany wants Ronald because she has a Capt Save a Bro complex (and probably some other emotional issues), not because there’s no one of any substance in the USA for a fat woman to date (especially in a country with so many fat people).

One takeaway from that article is that the cars ...while old are very, very well maintained.  That's the experience I've had.  Janky sounding engine, headlights falling off?  I wouldn't expect that for 6k.

i think older cars make sense because they are easier to fix.  Newer cars have some many computers that it's a bit of a challenge

I think Tiffany is gorgeous. She has a pretty face. She dresses well. She speaks well. She seems like a fun person and a loving mother.

However,  her judgment is pretty poor. There are lots of red flags and I know that you cannot see them when you are in love.

I feel like Ronald is manipulating her. His mom is probably happy to have someone else handle him.

Well, she says all the right things, but I can't imagined that she is as good a mother as she says when she is seeing 50 red flags before the wedding and is still intent on going through with the marriage.  Or taking Daniel there so she could marry Ronald 8 days out of rehab when she doesn't have a job.

I know it seems heartless for some foreign fiance's to leave their kids in their home country, but it seems like a bad decision to bring a child into a situations with so many unknowns.

She hasn't spent much time in person with Ronald, she admits he put her through hell, he hasn't been out of rehab a month....for an addiction so pervasive that he stole a refrigerator.

At every turn he has minimized his behavior and his record....which she wasn't even fully aware of.  He seems proud that he talked his employer out of pursuing a prosection by forcing him to drop it if he wanted the money back that Ronald stole from him.  If he can minimize and justify that behavior....yikes.

I agree with you about not bringing the children immediately. I do think it is risky.

I do also think that she is struggling to see that the person who may be a good partner for her, in her eyes, isn't a good father for her son.

Does he have a job?   Other than pointing out garbage, explaining human sex trafficking, gambling, drinking and stealing?

Did you see that production nonsense in the coming attractions that Ronald has to pick up someone at a casino?  Um can’t they walk a block to a gas station and meet him there ?

I know!!  Oh the tension......oh the drama.  Another reason to hate Ronald:  "If I lose Tiffany I lose everything!"  Dude, don't go all Nicole on us.  Get a JOB, get a hobby, get some friends that will respect your boundaries and drinking habits.  I can just hear Tiffany now:  "I can't leave him, we are his world!"

I was sure Corey had been ripped off buying that car.  I read this at a place called Gringos Abroad regarding the purchase of a car in Ecuador:

Buying a vehicle is an unusual experience here. First of all, a vehicle that would be completely worthless back home, is worth a verifiable fortune here. For example, an 11-year-old Dodge Caravan might be worth a few hundred dollars in Canada (if its in good shape) and here, it is listed at $8000.

Evelin's complaining that Cory is Mr. Complainer while feeding him GIANT WORMS is enough to gag a maggot!

I am not xenophobic in the least, but man, this show and its other iterations make me glad I'm watching in the US!*

*I will always make an exception for England (John/Rachel)!

So i read that article, and it makes sense.  But what I remember was that the older cars being sold for a mint were in pristine condition.  I feel like that car was falling apart at the seams.  It had clearly lost a few fights with a pole and the turn signal was hanging by a thread and the plumes of smoke didn't make it seem in top shape.

However, it makes sense to have an older car in a country like Ecuador, because newer cars have a lot of computers and electronic features that may require more sophisticated tools to repair.  So, I think I kinda overlooked that and that makes sense.

A well maintained older car makes sense.  That junker?  I don't know...

Maybe her dad has issues too. That would explain her attraction to fucked up men.

Maybe I misunderstood,  I thought The Gambler (I am so bad with names,  Mr Tostandon is lucky I remember his!) was to stay away from drugs and alcohol, in addition to gambling facilities,  such as full blown casinos. Not that his friends and family need to stop drinking themselves but they sure are quick to shove a bottle into his hands.   Maybe a "Wellness Center" is different than a "Treatment Center", but when Mr. Tostandon went through treatment,  there were all types of addictions involved.   They were told for the first year,  to not put themselves into an environment that would be a trigger,  such as bar,  or in this guy's case,  a casino.   Based on the dinner we saw last week,  it sounds if the only reason he went into the Wellness Center was to avoid legal problems.  Going for that reason very rarely works.

Rhetorical question here.... what is wrong with Corey!?  The only interest Evilyn has in him is for money. $1500.00 for an outhouse hooked into the septic,  $5000.00 for tables & chairs,  I'm sure her evil mind is swimming with ideas to drain every last penny.  She is upfront with what she wants (money,  money and more money)  and does not want (Corey and a family). As she is telling him this,  he just stands there with that goofy smile,  saying "I hope she says yes to getting married!".

Did I miss part of the episode?  Did we see anything on Goth Girl besides the preview for next week?

I am over Corey's attitude as well. It's embarrassing if your 'man' behaves like the princess and the pea. When he mentioned that the locals called him by her ex's name last time he was there, I realized they both are scamming us. How can he act surprised about housing, electricity, cars etc when he's already stayed there? He's aware of everything going on, including starting the bar last time. I hate being played.

Two of my girlfriends live in South Africa (Richards Bay) and yes, mugging is common in that if you are driving with the windows down, or just strolling about and you are on your phone, not paying attention - your items will be grabbed. If you are aware of your surroundings, you are rarely confronted. I think Tiffany just needs to be aware of where they are to determine risk. Her son didn't need to be terrified right out of the gate. Gradually educate him, don't make it sound like there's nothing he can do and this will happen to him.

I would say both his face and his body are above average.  Go to a mall or a park and look at all the schlubs walking around.  She may also be one of those women who find an accent charming.

Of course all things are not equal as he is an addict and a criminal.

I have to say that if my son were on this show 9 years ago - you all would be saying similar (except my son wasn't a criminal). Some men are flippin' idiots who make poor choices, or look up to people who are losers, and they get 'bored' so they jump from job to job. When I saw what Ronald's mom went through and how things had to be kept locked away etc., my heart went out to her because there was a time when I did not like who my son was becoming. He was not allowed around my house if I wasn't home because I didn't trust his friends, and no longer trusted him. Anyhow, he's 35 now - married 6 years, child, good job and I have no idea what made him turn a corner, but I know he's with a gal who will not put up with any garbage. I really like him and it's like i got my son back. He grew up (is what he says) But from 22 to 26 - No thank you! Knock wood he stays where he's as presently.

I agree.  I want to be laughing at these fools, I don't want them laughing at me.  That's not the experience I'm paying TLC for.

I pretty much FF all Corey and Evelyn scenes now.  Gives me more time to watch Paul run.
