I listened to the Call Her Daddy podcast yesterday while walking my dog. I don't think Holly is saying anything new here. I feel like she's been pretty consistent from the time her book came out to now. Prior to her book, she didn't talk too much about life in the Mansion, probably because she was trying to separate herself from it, but also because she was still processing it. It's interesting to listen to her, because she doesn't (to me, at least) sound bitter. She's just going over her experience and a fairly factual way.

It's funny because this is what many of us were saying when we were watching the show and Holly of course was the biggest cheerleader for the Playboy lifestyle. I am glad that time and wisdom has caused her to realize how toxic that environment really was for the women.

I know, it’s so sad because most girls would kill to look like any of them! I’d hate living in the Playboy Mansion for this reason. Even women with perfect faces and perfect figures don’t feel beautiful when everyone around them is perfect looking. Besides all the blonde, busty girlfriends, some of those Playmates were disgustingly gorgeous. To this day, the most beautiful woman I’ve ever heard of is Dasha, the anniversary Playmate. I didn’t even know Playmates looked like her until GND. I thought they all looked more like Hef’s girlfriends, who were indeed beautiful but all had a similar type of beauty.

They were (still are) very attractive. And each in a different way, too. It's interesting to see the photo-shoots, because they all really learned a lot about what poses worked for them.

Holly's book, Down the Rabbit Hole, is going to be turned into a limited TV series. The actress playing Holly is Samara Weaving.

Last week I found a podcast that revisits cultural and celebrities from the early 2000s and they're starting a bit on The Girls Next Door. The podcast is Les Deux You Remember This. The first part was about Hef and his early life.

Thanks so much! I added the podcast to my list of stuff to listen to. 🙂

Thanks for the new scoop everyone! Crystal is apparently team Kendra.

Does anyone know if Bridget ever got married? I remember she got engaged forever ago but don’t recall her ever getting married to Nick.

Dasha was/is gorgeous. A truly stunning face.

Which Crystal? The one who married Hef or the one who was close with Bridget? Kendra definitely toed the party line, so I'm not surprised that Crystal Hefner is on her side. Plus Holly was Hef's #1 for a long time, and Crystal Hefner always seemed like she was trying to live up to her. But Holly had more natural charisma and energy, so (to me, at least) she didn't.

I follow Bridget on insta and I haven't seen anything about a wedding. I feel like she'd go for a Halloween wedding, or something fall-themed. I think they're still together, though.

It’s not free on prime anymore 😞. I think my dog must have contacted them and told them she was tired of me playing it so much 🤣

Crystal Hefner, and I agree with you. The show was never the same without Holly, Bridget and Kendra.

I wonder why she’s having such a long engagement. They got engaged in 2015. I’m glad they’re still together. Bridget is such a sweetie she deserves to be happy.

I think time has taken care of any bitterness she might’ve had. I’m not sure i would say it was bitterness but more of a “I’m trying to create my own path independently from where you know me type of thing”

Time and self growth changes the way we feel about certain things. She seems more comfortable discussing mansion life now than she did five years ago. I love her correction about plastic surgery, the way she’d write about it now. I think time has given her empathy in place of where a lot of annoyance, bitterness might’ve been.

Is anyone else surprised that Crystal Hefner hasn't come out with a tell-all? I always expected her to do that after Hef's death. Both Kendra and Holly's books came out while he was alive and he commented on both (in support of Kendra's, said Holly's wasn't accurate). I wonder if there's some clause in Crystal's pre-nup that she couldn't write something or do a tell-all interview and if she does, she'll have to forfeit some or all of her inheritance.

Interesting question! Do you think it would sell well? We've probably heard it all at this point. It's possible Crystal doesn't feel comfortable portraying him in a bad light but doesn't want to lie either.

I found the podcast with Holly so interesting! She said she considered herself asexual for a long time and also thought she might have Asperger's. She said she has a hard time connecting to people. I relate to her in some ways. I thought boys were cute when I was a kid, but I didn't have sex drive as a teen or even early 20's. I went through puberty late and had mental health issues too though. When your anxiety is high, sex probably isn't going to be on your mind. I'm definitely not asexual now and have wondered if a very sexual woman could truly be happy with a very old man. It makes sense Holly was asexual and not really drawn to anyone until Criss. She didn't feel like she was missing out.

I also relate to her with having a hard time connecting with people as well. It's hard to connect when you feel like you've bottled up things so long. Holly said people assume her family must be bad because they seem distant. She said she has a nice family, but she didn't share things with them. I feel like I learned about her more in that podcast than any interview.

This is very relatable to me. It must have been hard having that mindset and being in the toxic Playboy environment. My family is also kind of cold and distant but not abusive.

Yeah, by the time Crystal came out a lot of the luster of Playboy seems to have faded away. I think we have heard all the good stories (most of them probably from the 60's and 70's). Also, Playboy seems almost quaint with all the available internet porn and girls freely opening up Only Fans accounts.

I was honestly surprised by how good the interview was. Not Holly but that Alex/CallHerDaddy could do such a good interview which I think was by mostly allowing Holly to just talk. Usually Alex’s go to is “that’s so dark” when anyone says something of depth.
I too could relate to a lot of what Holly talked about. I also wonder what else she would change, book-wise with all of her new found clarity. Just the disconnect alone helps you understand so many of her choices.

Sending you hugs!

As for Crystal, I wouldn’t be surprised if she had a NDA, something formally preventing her from bashing Hef which was smart to do after the Runaway Bride antics, awful Stern interview. I find it hard to believe she wouldn’t spill simply out of loyalty.
Despite Kendra’s messiness she’s beyond loyal to Hef because he saved and changed the course of her life.
Crystal was set up very well even before Hef passed away. He purchased a separate multi million dollar home for her, put money in to her various ventures that never went anywhere like the clothing line. I do think she could’ve been more successful on YouTube if she had stayed consistent with content. I remember a closet tour and all I could think of was Holly’s old Marilyn Monroe dresser that had been there.

Playboy is definitely quaint to everything available now. But when you go back and look at issues from the 1960’s, you really get why it was what it was. The writing is great. I know the classic joke “I read it for the articles” but they really are very well done, wide ranging.

Thanks for the hugs.

The writing was amazing. It was cutting edge journalism that was not available anywhere else. The magazine really made a mistake in the 90's to focus on the naked ladies and downplay the journalism.

Absolutely! There’s also a very noticeable difference in the magazine Post-Kimberly. I’m sure many chalk it up to trying to compete with the internet but the over all tone changed and any traces of sophistication were long gone.

Even many of the “celebrity interviews changed. They went from big names to interviewing newcomers whose careers never went anywhere which I can say twenty years later.
I did like how they would hype their own talent though when they got mainstream opportunities. Like Summer Altice did some cable stuff then ended up in a movie with DeNiro.

Due to Holly’s recent podcast appearance, I’m really surprised Crystal released a statement. An intelligent one at that. I know that isn’t polite but she was never shown to be very cerebral.
Kendra’s disconnect was she was there for a fun lifestyle, to get the most she could from it all. She wasn’t emotionally invested in the experience the way Holly, Bridget or even Crystal was.

I was listening to the Les Deux podcast, and one of the hosts brought up a good point. I think part of Kendra's appeal to viewers was the fact she just being there for the lifestyle. She was young, fun, had a messy room, ate Cheez-Its before posing nude, raved about the Olive Garden, loved hip hop and liked to shake her ass. She came across like a typical girl her age and not like a Beverly Hills Barbie doll despite her looks and residence. I became interested in Playboy because of GND, but I knew very little about it prior to the show. I couldn't relate to wanting to be a Playmate as a little girl or anything. Kendra didn't pretend to be super in love with Hef. She kind of just wound up at the mansion, so she seemed more relatable. Kendra appreciated Hef because her life wasn't going in the right direction, but she wasn't on a mission to use Playboy to become the next Pamela Anderson or become Mrs. Hugh Hefner. I remember initially I was drawn to Kendra. She made me laugh and didn't seem competitive or calculating. I grew to become bigger fans of Holly and Bridget though.

I think that even though Kendra was young she knew the game. Kendra was grateful that Playboy was going to provide entry into a lifestyle that she could have only dreamed about. She was not there to make a career like Bridgitte or was she madly in love with Hef. She also did not seem to buy into the Playboy mythology like the other two.

I too, ended up liking Holly and Brigitte better but I respected Kendra’s practical approach to the lifestyle.

I know Kendra’s demands in the house were seen as tacky compared to the other women putting in time first but Kendra had a strip club education, she was going to get all she could from the experience. She wanted the biggest room, a new car, and she got those things because she asked.

The thing about Crystal's statement about how these women shared an uncommon and rare experience and can't get along...when Holly's book came out, Kendra said so many things about Holly and what she did at the Mansion. It was beyond tacky, she was demeaning. That's not really something to forgive. At least, not for me. But I don't think Holly dragged Kendra in the podcast, but just stated Kendra wasn't being totally accurate about not sleeping with Hef.

Crystal also said that Holly and Bridget still despise her for no reason. However, I've never heard them really say anything about Crystal. Holly does in her book, but (it's been a long time since I read it, so I might be remembering wrong) I think it was something along the lines of Crystal copying her in the Playmate shoots and being kind of limp when they met. But Holly said nothing about Crystal in the podcast and I don't think I've ever heard Bridget say anything about her.

Both Holly and Bridget still have friends from their Playboy days, so I don't think it's about being competitive with other women or hating on the brand. And Kendra's very disingenuous to basically be like "Hey I'm a mom and I'm all about love. Not sure why she's hating on me." I would respect her more if she admitted saying hurtful things and said that she regretted it.

Crystal's interview with US Weekly was interesting, but she sort of flip-flopped, first saying, I can see Holly's side and I went through similar things, but then saying it was harder for her (Crystal) and then made some digs at Holly and Bridget.

For all of these women, Playboy is the brand that brought them fame and they will forever be associated with it and The Girls Next Door. It's natural that fans will have questions and want to hear about it. I think that's probably frustrating for all of them, but Playboy is what keeps them in the limelight.

It’s been a while since I made it through Kendra’s messy books but I think she admitted the bedroom stuff? All the bashing and vulgarity makes me cringe. It’s unnecessary. Even her tv episodes about Holly that turned out to be fake. I also hate the way she treated Bridget after she was so generous to her. Kendra seems to thrive on being brash and negative while the rest are out there living productive lives.

Aside from her own antics, we’ve never known Crystal the way we have the other women. From the way she talks, it sounds like she’s going through the therapy process.
I’m curious how much Hef, others gaslighted and created animosities where there wasn’t any. Each has their own truth.

I agree, I don't think Holly and Bridget are competitive with other women either. I did initially think they might be, but that was when I just started watching the show. I remember Bridget made a comment about suggesting doing shots knowing Playmates had pictorials to shoot in the morning, and Holly seemed to throw digs at Kendra. I think Bridget was just being honest that she wished she could be a Playmate so badly, and she said she never forced anyone to drink or anything. I'd think even young women would know to maybe lay off certain food and drink if you really want to look your best.

Holly has said she has a hard time connecting with people, and she's a shy person. I can relate to this. People who talk to me typically think I'm very nice, but I'm not normally the person who's super chatty and bubbly with people I don't know. It's not that I don't want to be, but some things are harder when you're shy. I could see Kendra annoying her too, and Hef not helping that situation. Both women have friends from Playboy and admit the brand opened doors for them. Holly just doesn't pretend everything was as cute and great as it appeared on TV.

At least Kendra's shown growth. I know she's not perfect, but I've generally liked her except for the foul stuff she said about Holly.

Yes, the vulgarity is what I never cared for with Kendra. She could defend herself without low blows. Poor Bridget! She was so sweet and patient with Kendra, even when she was 10+ years younger and kind of obnoxious. lol

I'm curious too. Crystal seems nice enough, but I lost interest in GND once the new girls took over.

I haven’t seen it confirmed anywhere but I thought the getting the playmates drunk the night before was a producer plot.

I’m not sure Kendra knows how to defend herself or even engage without low blows. She lacks the emotional maturity. All she ever had to say was “That wasn’t my experience” not tweet vulgar things or create a fictional plot line about confronting people at their book signings.
Bridget was there for her without being contractually obligated like the baby shower.

Everyone lost interest once the “Girls” left which is why Bunny house never went anywhere. I couldn’t sit through it. Holly was nice about the twins in her book but they were unwatchable.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if it were. I think in the GND DVD commentary, Bridget clarified that she just meant she's not going to stop those girls if they're not being smart. I think Holly joked about it "Bridget, are you going to apologize to all the Playmates?" lol

Agreed. While Kendra's the baby of the bunch, at the time she made those comments she really should have known better. It had been many years since she was the teenager Holly and Bridget first met. I think Bridget is a genuinely nice person. I remember her brother said what you see is what you get, and you get a whole lot. Few people have anything negative to say about her. It's sad Kendra didn't appreciate her kindness. I am sure to Holly and Bridget, it must have been annoying Hef immediately took a liking to Kendra, she came in and kind of did whatever she wanted. But Kendra almost came across like she was too cool for them. I'm not 100% sure why. She's friends with other beautiful women, so I don't think it's a competitive thing. She has friends who are older than her, so I don't think the age gap was it. One of my guesses is she thought they were corny tbh. Bridget and Holly are both very feminine, kind of kids at heart with their shameless love of pink, Halloween, dressing up, Disney, Hello Kitty, Barbie, etc. IRC, Izabella kind of shaded them for this too. Honestly, I LOVED the fact they continued to have fun in life. If all that stuff makes you happy, what does it hurt? Kendra always pointed out she was different, loved sports, didn't want to bake, etc.

Yes, I gave the show a chance, but it just wasn't the same. Holly, Bridget, and Kendra made for awesome TV and were not just replaceable blondes.

Yes! Which is funny, because Hef at one point made a comment about one blond being the same as another. And I'm sure the network thought it was about the formula, not the personalities. The season with Crystal and the twins showed it was much more than that.

I think there are multiple reasons for the behavior. Kendra’s lack of investment, Kendra’s own emotional issues. I also agree that she felt she was too cool, too different from them. Remember the dress incident where she didn’t want to wear the costume dress in Chargers colors? She kind of fought to be different.
I’m sure a part of her also felt like well, I don’t know how long this experience is going to last so why get attached to anyone?

Hef and the powers that be made a huge mistake with this. He also made the same mistake with the magazine.

I never thought about that, but there are definitely a lot of people who are scared to get close to others. It would make sense since Kendra felt abandoned by her father. I've struggled with this very issue myself.

Honestly, I think Bunny House had so much potential! They could have continued the cutesy GND type of vibe with Playmates who had personality. Women would watch to get that lifestyle escapist entertainment, and I'm sure some men would also tune in to see the beautiful women. I think I read somewhere GND's audience was about 70% female, 30% male.

It may have started out with us coming for herf, but we stayed for the girls   The fact the network and or hef didn’t or wouldn’t see that is so sad   If the show about the butler staff had been made, wouldn’t they have been paid?    I would be interested in how much hef got paid for the show

In her second book when she talks about kicking, violently attacking her husband, tantrums it sounded like she has an attachment disorder.
I think Bunny House could’ve worked if they had started it earlier, slowly introduced the cast with great personalities. Claire really shined on Holly’s World and could’ve carried a show.
I’d believe it! Their calendar and issue signings and appearances were mostly women! The few guys I saw were there to meet Hef.
It’s sad E! wanted to move away from all the Playboy stuff for the Kardashian’s.

I think the staff was paid day wages for “Inside the Playboy Mansion” but I’ve always been curious how much Hef made for the show and his Lifetime special that became “Runaway Bride”

Yikes! I'm curious how Hank is doing.

I think a lot of women wanted their lives without the whole sharing a way older man thing. lol

Ditto on Claire! She was perfect for TV.

No offense to Kardashian fans. I gave the show a chance but never could get into it. But E! was so much more fun before Kardashians took over.

Ditto. I think all three women were really taken for granted. They didn't have awesome ratings because the formula was three random blondes plus some Hef. They were unique women who had a great chemistry together.

I’ve always felt badly for Hank because he had a sad downfall. He was such an exciting rookie that he was name dropped multiple times in Silver Linings Playbook (the book) to reality tv with Kendra, tabloid scandals.

That was one of the most amusing things about Jill Ann’s book. She tried becoming a girlfriend because she thought there was no sharing or bedroom activities, that it was all an act.
I miss old E!

Kendra and Hank had such an adorable family. Kendra's daughter is beautiful...she looks a lot like her mother.

I agree, Holly and Kendra both have beautiful kids.

Who thinks GND would even air in 2021? Would an octogenarian having multiple younger girlfriends, one barely out of high school be considered a good idea for a show? Everyone thought it was weird then, but other than occasionally calling Hef a dirty old man and the women gold diggers, I don't remember any serious outrage.

I don’t think it would get a pass now. I think some would appreciate the campiness of it, I know I do. But I could see cancel culture coming for it, coming for Patti for allowing her teen to live there, digging up more uncomfortable dirt on the women and an unfortunate mess.

I loved GND back in the day and lost interest after the OGs were gone. Don't see cancel culture letting something similar happen. The Twitter mob would demand heads roll, etc. Holly and Bridget were my favorites. Loved B's cat and her education (I had just finished an MA), and Holly seemed like a good apple. Liked Holly's DTRH. Has Bridget ever written a book? Can't bring myself to read anything Kendra wrote/scribbled.

Wow. I had no idea Jill Ann passed. So sad.

Confused by Izabella. Why would a newly minted lawyer become a Hef girlfriend?

Who else love The House Bunny?

I loooove The House Bunny and for a while wished the powers that be could’ve extended the story line for a sequel.
Bridget is/was working on a book for a few years. I’m not sure if she has a publisher or not but I’d love both an autobiography and an entertaining/lifestyle book.
Definitely sad about Jill Ann. Despite wanting fame so badly, she was a successful businesswoman. I liked her Vegas shops.
Izabella is confusing in many ways. If I remember correctly she was still a student while living at the house, I remember a lot of lame excuses in her book about not passing the bar. What baffles me is she speaks with great depth but her life choices say the complete opposite. So it’s, Did she have great ambitions for herself then moved to Malibu, started hanging out in Hollywood and got caught up in the lifestyle? Or did she use her intelligence as a way to separate herself from the rest of the beautiful young women in Los Angeles out to land a wealthy guy, live an easy life? Because she did all the exact things (even reality tv) that she picked on the other women for.

An autobiography or entertaining/lifestyle book from Bridget would be awesome! She has a way of making everything so fun.

Jill Ann's death is so heartbreaking. I didn't know she had Vegas shops.

My guess is Izabella figured she was smart and ought to go for something prestigious, then decided she didn't want to practice law after all. I've known quite a few people like this. I considered law myself when I was younger, but honestly, I'd probably get bored.

I think a lot of the women had the whole "I'm not like the other girls" attitude.

The House Bunny was super cute!

Wouldn’t a party/event planning book by Bridget be so fun? She always put so much thought in to everything even the gift wrapping.
Jill Ann had a few different shops. Her consignment shops were amazing. She didn’t price gouge. I bought a few bags and dresses.

It's a shame that Bridget (with her education, charisma, and beauty) didn't turn into a travel show host. She'd be a great game show host or panelist for something akin to the Masked Singer.

Bridget was really a sweetheart and I never understood why she was not more successful in the industry. She really had drive.

I remember she was on a show called "The Next Elvira", where they were going to pick an Elvira replacement.  The judges were Elvira and 2 drag queens who dressed up as Elvira. (one achieved her cleavage with spray paint).

The judges loved Bridget and it was nice to see her outside of Girls Next Door. In the end, she was eliminated because her personality was a little too bubbly to pull off the campy Goth thing that Elvira represents.

I loved Holly's Marie Antoinette party, all Kendra drama aside. I am a history and film buff and thought her party was a perfect representation of Sophia C's movie. I particularly enjoyed the outfits.

I don’t know why either! I’ve tried to analyze it. I know she lost a momentum while waiting to see if Beaches was going to be renewed. (It’s on Pluto for free if anyone hasn’t seen it. I had forgotten that Holly and Kendra did an episode!)

I remember an article back then mentioning potential other work for the Travel channel but it never happened. Which unfortunately happens in Hollywood/TV a lot. A lot of time gets wasted waiting which sometimes kills someone’s trajectory. Then add in all the awful stuff she rejected or the pilots she shot or pitches she made that never went anywhere and not much happened.
I loved “The Next Elvira”. I was on a plane once with Cassandra. She IS gorgeous. It was shocking because outside of her costume you wouldn’t expect her to look like that. Most who wear alter ego costumes look very similar to their character.
Me too! I love that movie. I even bought one of Trashy’s “Holly Antoinette” costumes. LOL!
Sofia’s films are always so rich visually

A network needs to have a show with Bridget and Holly. I don't know what format it would be, but something not reality in the traditional sense. A cooking show, travel show, makeovers, etc. Something. I love how Holly describes B in her book, "I met my best friend."

How cool that you saw Cassandra in person! I've always thought she was such a beauty, with and without the Elvira styling.

lol! Those costumes are so cute, don't blame you.

Yes. I also like anything with a Marie Antoinette theme.

A lifestyle show not completely different from GND would be perfect imo. A show where we'd get to see some cooking, baking, parties, travel, makeovers, bit of everything. That's what made GND so fun imo. It was so much more than a peek into the Playboy world. Despite the dark side, the show did feature a lot of fun. Bridget and Holly in particular are both creative and kids at heart. It would be cool to see a ghost episode with Bridget as the lead, a Disney episode with Holly as the star, gift shopping with Bridget, a makeover done by Holly.

Anyone think this is possible? Is Holly entirely in Vegas now? I forget. If Holly still spends quite a bit of time in LA, I really wonder if we could get another show. I'm so curious about these girls' lives. Perhaps this is too personal, but Bridget said once many years ago if she didn't have kids, that would be okay. I'm curious if that's still true. Would she have a wedding on camera? You know she'd go all out, and it would make for great TV. I really don't think we need drama or anything phony. Women love to watch Holly and Bridget to kind of live vicariously through them, and I'm sure men would tune in because they're two hot blondes.

The women are genuinely fun doing anything. I miss watching people I truly like on TV. I feel hateful watching Housewives because I find so many of them mean. Too bad the girls aren't on Bravo! I wish we'd at least get a Where are They Now? type of show. I do watch Holly on YouTube, but I haven't seen Bridget anywhere lately.

It's so sweet Holly said that about Bridget. 💗

I know Kendra’s demands in the house were seen as tacky compared to the other women putting in time first but Kendra had a strip club education, she was going to get all she could from the experience. She wanted the biggest room, a new car, and she got those things because she asked.

That's how I see it too. Although I think Kendra is not a very nice person and is tacky in general, I have no problem with her "let's call a spade a spade" approach to mansion life. She set her price and seemed completely happy with what she was paid. I thought Holly was wrong to be offended that Kendra didn't pay her dues first- you're selling something, be it your body, your time, your image, etc. you have a right to set your own price. Hef certainly could have told Kendra no way or made her a counter offer. Holly was, at the time, ridiculously grateful to a lecherous old guy letting her stay in his house in exchange for posing as a part of his harem. Her memoir (at least the first one) read like he was doing her a kindness or being charitable. It was cringe worthy.

Looking back on it all, especially reading the books ex girlfriends have written and reading between some lines I wish they had stopped participating in allowing themselves to be pitted against each other.
Hef liked and created all the drama to keep everyone on their toes. They all participated in one way or another. Whether arguing, attitudes toward each other, drama over earning something or this girl instantly receiving what took the other one three years to get. Like how Kendra got an Escalade instantly while Holly ended up with Buffy’s old hand me down truck.

They all lived in the house, did mostly the same things and yes, all reaped the same rewards for putting up with some hellacious crap.

I said this in an earlier post, but even when Holly had written the first memoir, which would have put her at least 3-5 years removed from mansion life and presumably with a better hindsight view, she still seems convinced Good Ol Hef was being benevolent, "allowing" Holly to stay in his crumbling, stained, frozen in 1985 mansion, purely out of kindness, and Holly owed him endless gratitude. Yes, Holly was an "adult" (by which I mean she was over 18, she was very sheltered and not at all street smart and savvy), but the fact is, Hef preyed on her. He found a gullible, insecure young woman he could easily manipulate and mold into his perfect partner. There was no kindness, no altruism in his invitation for her to live there.

I would say he preyed similarly on Kendra, who was even younger and also insecure and not in the best situation in life, but I think Kendra saw the situation for what it was (or at least a closer version). She had something he wanted, and he had something she wanted. I would argue that he was still taking advantage of her, but at least Kendra recognized it as a business transaction, not charity. And certainly not love. I think Kendra has a fondness for Hef and I am not sure she should, but I think she did always have a more realistic idea of life as Hef's paid girlfriend than Holly did.

THIS!
Again, I love Holly but I think she wasn’t far enough removed from the situation when she wrote it and again (sorry to all the regulars in this thread for my broken record!) as she keeps repeating the same life/relationship patterns I think there’s so much more self work that needs to happen.
But yes! I think Kendra had a much more realistic idea of girlfriend life than Holly.

Bridget too though. She stayed in her lane for the most part, took in all the perks, worked on her education.

I think a big difference is that Kendra had some self-esteem and Holly did not, at the time she was in the mansion.

I think Holly is sweet and probably would much prefer her to Kendra in real life but Kendra knew how much she was worth.

I am sure Hef told them that there are a million blonde girls that would love to be in your position and all of you are replaceable. I think Kendra called his bluff and Holly just did not.

At that time I felt that Holly lost herself in the men she dated. She was into all the old-timey stuff that Hef loved but I am sure she found at least some of it boring.

She then did the same thing with Chris Angel when she started dating him. She began to emulate his punk slightly goth vibe.

I really hope she has learned to love herself because she deserves so much more respect than what she got from Hef.
