Not looking forward to Luke's return during the rose ceremony (per the previews we saw at the end). That's got to be producer driven, and it's not cool to continue manipulating a guy who's clearly not as sophisticated as the whole Bachelor/Bachelorette machine.  I feel like the franchise is a cat that's gonna keep toying with mouse 'Luke'. Stop it already.  (PS--I'm no Luke fan, I just think the franchise needs to know when enough is enough.)

I'm pretty sure Hannah would be faithful if she were in a committed relationship. Not sure why some posters seem to feel differently, but whatever.

She was totally on point in her argument with Luke. He was judging her sleeping with other guys as sinful, yet he was committing the sin of being prideful the whole time, plus he was disrespectful of the other men.

I was actually shocked at how well-reasoned her arguments were. 

And poor Luke - she kept blocking him from saying anymore, even though he attempted to get in the last word several times. There was a thought balloon over his head saying "How can I make you all confused and uncertain again if you don't let me talk?"  

And his trying to get in the last word "Can I just pray for you?"  Oh, the colossal nerve.

I don’t, however, think that expressing the opinion that you are not comfortable with your intended to be sleeping with multiple men in the space of a few days before you plan on proposing marriage justifies the completely over the top reaction from Hannah. He’s allowed to feel that way just as much as she’s allowed to fuck an entire village. I think she was unnecessarily cruel in how she rubbed her sexual tryst in his face. And I think it was disrespectful to Peter to speak about their experience the way she did to Luke and in her talking head. It just felt very low class and tacky to me.. like is this Jerry Springer now?

I feel bad because its obvious she’s never had a man respect boundaries.  She doesn’t know what a healthy relationship looks like.  She is easily manipulated and IMO has low self esteem.  Plus this was just a bad set of fantasy suites.  First guy is a horn dog that she didn’t like, whether they slept together or not.  Second guy, she couldn’t trust.  Third guy was controlling as fell and she fought with before probably screwing.  Last guy, was a massive fight at dinner including being slut shamed.

So, the big sex discussion. Luke is clearly on the wrong show and Hannah seems to have missed some things about the parable of the adulterous woman. Instead of just walking away when it was clear that Hannah is getting physical with the other guys in ways that bother him, he offers to "forgive" her for falling short of his moral standards that he implicitly feels she should be living up to (even though she never agreed to them). Honestly, a guy who offers forgiveness you never asked for is probably the kind of person who will throw the "sin" in your face months/years down the road when he's angry with you.

Meanwhile, Hannah ignored umpteen red flags and personal misgivings to keep Luke around because she really wanted "alone time" with him, disregarding all the signs that he might want to save himself for marriage and would consider her having sex with other men in the fantasy suite a deal-breaker. It would be interesting to know what Luke's idea of "purity" is, because by the standards of some Christians, what he's done on the show with Hannah is going too far for people who aren't married or even engaged.

Desiree's now-husband Chris reportedly didn't watch her season at all, which seems like the smart thing to do in this universe. I don't know how they aren't driven insane with jealousy, but hey, that's why I'm not on the show.

What audacity Luke has to ask if he can prayer over her like she needs it. He’d probably pray that she had discernment and clarity and that god will change her heart about him. Um, Luke clearly doesn't understand what this show is all about. I think that has been his biggest issue all along. He's entitled to his feelings, but his beliefs about sex before marriage and this show do not go hand in hand. He's been sharing her with a bunch of guys for weeks, that's the way it works. She may sleep with someone else, that's the way it works. Sorry dude. I hated the way he talked about her "slipping up." He said that during the bungee jump date too. He's way too controlling. He's a jackass.

I swear I saw the lightbulb finally go off over Hannah's head during her conversation with Luke -- "wow, maybe everything the guys were saying was right -- Luke really is a jerk." 

After watching Tyler and Peter's dates, and seeing these nice, normal guys and she seemed to have fun with them, and she really seemed emotional after Tyler left and he was so cool with her and respectful it was hard to watch her launch into the Jed/Luke drama. Girlfriend does have a bad picker. Tyler or Peter would be lightyears better than Jed or Luke.

The thing is, while I do think Luke has very strong beliefs, I think what makes him so upset about Hannah sleeping with other guys on the show is that he is super possessive and competitive, and Hannah being into a guy who isnt him makes him feel like he might not be "winning" the show and that "his" future wife might be straying from him. His freak out seems less about religion and more about how he wants to stick his name on Hannah's head and growl at other men to get away from his woman, and his fragile ego. Plus, he truly comes off as pretty creepy sometimes, like when he is just refusing to leave when Hannah tells him to go, or when he was clinching his fist super hard when Hannah told him to kick rocks. Maybe Luke is a rather dim or even unwell person being manipulated by the producers, or maybe he is really a scary abusive dick who wants to gaslight and control his girlfriend and sees everyone around him as possessions or threats to his ego. Or maybe a bit of both. After all, its the producers who keep letting come back over and over like the bad guy in a slasher flick.

What I want to know is, if Luke is so religious and his future wife being only with him is so important to him...why is he even on this show? He knows what this show is and what the premise is, so why even go on a show like this?

Omg this 100%. It’s funny that she accuses Luke in her talking head of only loving someone the way he sees it... she has been ordering him around the entire season. Even to the last as they are walking to the car and she barks “walk with me!” She is so self centered. Whenever my husband watches with me he will say multiple times “Hannah is awful”. She talks over people, she interrupted every one of the guys in front of their families to tell the story her way. She ridiculed and enumerated why they all weren’t good enough but have no fear.. she also explained how she “fixed” them. She has no respect for anyone else’s opinion but her own and she definitely cannot handle being challenged or take any constructive criticism. The same thing happened when Jed expressed his concerns about her keeping Luke. She was seething that he dared even question her, but she did manage to mostly keep her cool and not shout him away. She’s just a huge pain in the ass and God bless whoever chooses a life with her.. hope you enjoy being constantly berated and controlled.

I think the reason Hannah was so upset was because she had moved past a lot of shit Luke did against her better judgment then he drops on her that he will just leave if she has done this one thing that he didn’t want her to do. 

And I know all I need to know about Luke from that conversation. He’s the self proclaimed spiritual leader of his family so he gets to tell them all what to do. He expects to always call the shots. She says she has clarity and wants him to leave but he doesn’t believe she could have clarity because he doesn’t.  Dude is a total narcissist and people like that don’t change because they don’t think they need to.

This is hee-larious! While I'm more familiar with the teachings of Shower Jesus, Windmill Jesus is all about fucking anyone and everyone as many times as you want, even if you have a husband. Yes!!! This show didn’t always mean that you sleep with every person in the fantasy suites. And you know what, if she chooses to, of course she is a grown woman capable of making that decision. That also means she’s a grown woman who should be prepared to face the consequences of that decision. One of those consequences may be that the super born again Christian you brought along to the end will be uncomfortable with that and may find it a deal breaker. She could have accepted that and gracefully ended it with him. I mean Luke is still a huge, immature idiot and asking to pray over her was weird. But his creepiness aside, she knew what he was all about and her expectation that he should just accept that she is having sex with multiple people if he really loves her is just strange and seems really out of touch with reality.

I know some here are upset with her revelation as embarrassing to Luke.  I didn’t mind.  When he refused to get in the car she said the one thing she knew would get him away from her.  I was also glad she didn’t let him speak again at dinner.  He has done nothing but gaslight her.  He said his piece, but has tried before to shut her up when she wants to respond.  I don’t doubt he would have done it again tonight.
