SmithW6079 July 27, 2019 Share July 27, 2019 The commercials looked interesting for this show. For some reason, I thought Walton Goggins had been a child actor from a show I remember, so I looked him up. Turns out his first wife killed herself in 2004; they were estranged. Still, it kind of seems tacky for him to play a widower for laughs, when he was one in real life. Link to comment

Goggins himself talked about this in a recent interview about the decision to film this without an audience. Quote For me to go in front of a live audience and tell this story about a man who lost his wife to cancer and has two daughters, I don’t know that I could have pulled that off. Somebody else could have done it in a minute. I think it needed that space, that improvisation, for it to feel like a film. We talked and I said, ‘Let’s go do this.’ I’m going to lean into the sadness. I’m not going to shy away from that, but I promise you it will be funny. Glad to see Rob Corddry on TV again. I almost didn't recognize him at first, and had to check IMDb to verify it was him. And he's 48! How did that happen? I still picture him as one of the new kids on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, but I guess that was a while ago. Link to comment
Kiddvideo October 4, 2019 Share October 4, 2019 I’ve never seen the lead actor in another show. I understand from reading here that he’s been in a popular horror show before. I don’t have that previous affinity or goodwill, so I’m going to say this: his smile is horrible. He looks like he has really bad veneers, and I can’t focus on the show. I think the story has 2-3 seasons in it, and I like the other adult characters, but I can’t watch him. 1 Link to comment

His teefs are played fir a joke several times in Justified, which is one of my top 5 series. 2 Link to comment

paigow November 26, 2019 Share November 26, 2019 Walton Goggins plays 1 of 3 asylum patients simultaneously claiming to be Jesus Christ in Three Christs. Movie release early 2020. Peter Dinklage & Bradley Whitford are the other patients. Richard Gere is the specialist brought in to cure them. 1 Link to comment
Kiddvideo January 16, 2021 Share January 16, 2021 Not the media per se, but I had no idea Forest also played Lou in Hot Tub Time Machine. They don’t even look alike. It was his voice that was familiar. Link to comment
