You'd hope, however, that owners are updating their stability instructions/books asap like the Hansens did in this episode. They're risking lives and a massive investment of money that they have in their boat. This industry has gotten safer since the first season of DC in large part because of moving from the derby to a limited entry fishery with predetermined allotments. Now that the cowboy behavior has been reduced, it's easy to forget that this is still really dangerous work. 1 Link to comment
