I mean, it's possible that he is physically attracted to her and they have really great conversation. But superficially this looks like the same tradeoff as any other couple where an American gets with a foreigner way about their pay grade. But generally there is the promise of a good or at least stable life in America in exchange for getting someone who is really physically attractive.
