That is... very oddly phrased.

Must have been a glitch when they pulled the episode description.

Here it is from thetvdb.com

Quote

Holmes and Watson’s new careers as consultants for Scotland Yard in London take them inside the tabloid journalism industry when a popular model is the victim of an acid attack. Also, as Watson grows increasingly homesick for New York, Captain Gregson is wracked with guilt over his unresolved rift with his former consultants. Ophelia Lovibond returns as Kitty Winter, Sherlock’s former protégé.

Not digging the blond hair, but it'll be interesting for sure.  Love that Kitty will be back.  I hope Gregson does the right thing, but that would get him into a great deal of trouble as much as Hannah.

Funny you say that. I haven't even turned on a regular network since... Elementary went off the air last season??? I don't even read the descriptions of their pilots. Plenty to watch on Netflix, etc.

Man, I wish Elementary producers would change their minds and bring it back in 2020.

Same here. I still watch Bluebloods and NCIS-LA and I've grown weary of the crap the networks try to foist off on discerning adults anymore as drama so I'm going to give them up as well.

After season 7 ends I'll buy the DVD to go with the other seasons and watch them maybe once a year and reminisce about how really good this show was and how utterly horrible the rest of TV was.

I'm going out on a limb here and guess that Morland as he normally does will pull some strings in NY so Sherlock and Joan can return to NY and be reunited with Gregson.

Even better would be Moriarty squeezing the D.A. / Attorney General to drop the charges...in exchange, Sherlock must work at her Not!Starbucks wearing an ankle bracelet.... Better Call Sherlock

I love JLM and was so happy that he finally found a show that lasted more than the blink of an eye. I will very much miss seeing him on my tv on a regular basis. I'll miss the characters, the actors, and Clyde.

I just hope someone is taking good care of the little fella.

This awesome show didn't get nearly the love or respect it deserved.

Rapid thoughts: shot himself, or shot by his daughter, or shot by an unknown.  Shot himself seems unlikely.

This picked up fairly well considering where it was left last season.  I'm glad Bell is in on the dramatic secret, and that it's because he's a good detective.  I'm glad they didn't complete the resolution in a single episode, but I didn't anticipate the ending.

The plastic surgeon was a 'hey it's that guy,' so I was suspicious.

Clyde! Kitty! Six hideous royal couple busts instead of Napoleons!

Welcome back, beloved Elementary!  I got used to Joan’s blond hair — Lucy Liu is so pretty that she can carry it off.  Loved Kitty’s son and Sherlock eating ice cream on the bench.  Did I recognize the doctor as being in Sixth Sense??  The crime case kept me guessing.

I guessed the killer in his first scene, but I liked that the case wasn't overly complicated or convoluted for a change.  Joan's brassy hair looked better when it was done up.  If they're going back to NY, I wonder if this the last time we'll see Kitty and cute little Archie?  How funny that they had Megan, Harry and an Archie in the episode!

Clyde! I startled the dog by saying that out loud.

Archie is such a cutie!

I think the blonde hair is the wrong shade for Joan.  It looked better when it was pulled back and there were more highlights/lowlights that could be seen. (Magnumfangirl and I had the same idea)

It is really hard to wait until next week for the next episode.  I'm so spoiled by syndication showing an episode every night.

The case, not compelling in the least, more horrifying was the police suggesting that people throwing acid in each other's faces was a common occurrence in the U.K. Disappointed that they didn't do a bunch of location porn or random celebrity cameos (other than Kitty and Clyde).

Storm took out my signal for the last five minutes of the show! Talk about suspense!

I am really hung up on the hair on this show, even though I realize it's a ridiculous thing to care about. But just to get it off my mind, I don't like Joan's dye job, I think Marcus' hair calls attention to how short he is, because it's too tall and looks like he's trying to hide that, and I can live with Kitty's purple ends, but only because I missed her so much and was so happy to see her.

Other than that, I am really glad to have the show back, and am looking forward to finding the last 5 minutes of the episode on line tomorrow!

I was annoyed that Joan didn't even try to talk to the boss about the "Doc" thing. Maybe she doesn't mean it as an insult. I mean, it's unprofessional and she should knock it off, but people have been called worse things. She might think it's an honorific, not a slur.

And Holmes not noticing that Watson is unhappy is out of character. She wasn't even being subtle about it, either.

I liked Marcus telling Gregson what's what. I like when Marcus gets to take the lead in any moment, and not just be the sidekick.

Despite my nitpicks, I do really love the show and am sooo very glad it's back.

Elementary is back for its final season!  I have truly missed this show.  It's hard to put into words, but this really is the only show of its type that I still watch.  I mean, there are other procedurals I watch, but they usually have some kind of genre twist like iZombie or Lucifer.  But this is just the only "normal" crime show that I still watch and enjoy.

Pretty cool that they are at least starting things out with Sherlock and Watson still in London, and watching them work with the London Police Department.  Their new boss was fun, but I do hope Joan or Sherlock finally gets onto her about the "Doc" remarks and her clear distain for Americans.

Case of the week was fine, but I had the doctor pegged early on since I've seen Ravi Kapoor in enough things to know that his role was going to be bigger, and once Saffron Burrows character was revealed to be the red herring, there really wasn't any other suspects left.

Kind of digging Joan/Lucy Liu's blonde look.  Is it for another film or is Lucy just trying something different?

Kitty!  Great to see her, again.  Wished Ophelia Lovibond got bigger roles (or maybe she has in stuff I just don't watch.)

Glad that they did cut back to NYC and show what was going on there.  Loved that Bell actually figured out what really went down on his own (because he is a good detective), and confronted Gregson for his part in all of that.  But now Gregson's been shot?  I'll admit that I first thought of Hannah because maybe he wanted to confess, and she's just gone for good.  But I'm guessing it will end up being someone else from their past wanting to settle a score.

Sad that this is the end, but considering how the ratings were compared to most of CBS's stuff, I'll take whatever I can get!

What happened to the nanny / bodyguard that Kitty employed for Baby Archie? She fought Joan to a draw and might come in handy in their last case before returning to NYC.....

She was Kitty-like in Whiskey Cavalier but I love the real Kitty.  And little Archie too - loved the ice cream cone scene with Archie and Sherlock.

I am so happy to have this show back, at least for a little while.  It is definitely one of my most favourite shows of all time and I will be sad when it is gone for good.

I wonder how they'll get Holmes back to New York legally.  Maybe Hannah will finally do the right thing and confess.

Elementary is back! I love seeing Sherlock back in the city that started it all, and I am excited to see how the show wraps things up. I know that Joan and Sherlock will go back to New York, especially with Gregson being shot, but I would be happy to see them hang out in London for awhile, a change of location might be a nice change of pace.

Clyde!!! And Kitty! And cute little Archie! Cute little Archie eating an ice cream with Sherlock! So great to see Kitty again, and seeing her living her best life in London.

Joan's blond hair...I think its the wrong shade for her. Her dark hair is so lovely, that blond just didnt work out for her.

As happy as I was to be in London, I was glad to check in with Bell and Gregson in New York. I can imagine that they will try and get them back to New York by the end of the show and allow Sherlock back in the States legally. I dont see Hannah turning herself in, so maybe something else happens, or Gregson being shot inspires her?

Some quick Googling tells me there's nothing more to Lucy Liu's hair color change than a simple desire on her part to try something different.

The case of the week was OK. I was wondering how they were going to continue incorporating Gregson and Marcus on the show if Sherlock and Watson are in London. I actually thought they might get written out this season. I still don't know how they're going to "fix" this. My gut tells me Gregson will die and then Hannah's secret will be exposed and Sherlock will be off the hook.

The only problem is that Sherlock just said he prefers London, so it seems like he and Watson might be destined to part ways by the end of the season. That would be sad.

What was the story behind Kitty's son? Who's the father? I can't remember any of that.

I wonder how they got Clyde through customs. Can you really bring a turtle into England from America?

Love Tamsin Greig. I was a big fan of Episodes.

I am just so happy that this show is back.  I like that Joan is in London with Sherlock even though she has her doubts.  Sometimes we do make sacrifices for our families.

I was worried that Kitty was going to be killed after seeing the publisher so was relieved when the story went in a different direction.  And, I must be slow, but I didn't see it being the plastic surgeon until the end.

I am so going to miss this show.

Kitty! Archie! Clive! Blond Joan (which I like)! And Tamsin Greig!!! What a great surprise! I met her (and absolutely loved her) on "Episodes".

So glad the show is back and so glad there are still ties to the NY crew (although I'm not sure this will last...).

WOW. Loved having this show back. So much to comment on. Kitty, Archie, Clyde and a good crime to solve.

Not digging the blond Joan but I do like the Brits and their accents though.

Bell and Gregson being on the show was neat but if Bell is going to the Marshals Service he won't be around long.

Will be interested in how the Gregson thing plays out.

Overall very happy to have this show back even if it's the last season.

It's plots are to complex for todays TV viewing crowd. Not enough shit being blown up, gun fights and car chases.

I totally squee'd over the guest cast for this episode! Love Tamsin Greig - I still remember her from a short-lived British show called "Love Soup," and of course, Episodes.

Saffron Burrows and Ophelia Lovibond, AND Tara Summers - who had ONE scene?! I totally thought she was the killer because I thought, certainly they didn't hire Tara Summers for a one-scene nurse role? Really odd. (She did at least 2 seasons as a regular on Boston Legal, also PBS's Mercy Street, Ringer, and Dietland last year.) And I didn't even know the doctor like all of you. Props to whoever is doing casting!

But ugh....the blonde hair. Just no, Lucy.

ETA: Also Jamie Thomas King, who played the paparazzi suspect, has a long list of credits including Mad Men ("the lawnmower guy who'll never golf again") and the Tudors.

What happened to Sherlock’s bees?

Count me as one who is not a fan of the blonde hair.  Lucy is beyond gorgeous but the blonde makes her look older than the ten years younger than her actual age she usually looks.

And normally I love her clothes but I could not get beyond the pink track pants with the beige chunk heels.  So odd.

When I saw the season was starting I knew that I would watch, because I have since the beginning, but when the ep started I realized that I am going to miss this show a fuck of a lot more than I thought I would.  I’ve had to say goodbye to so many shows over the last few years (without starting too many new ones, which is weird) and I miss them all.
