Death by cheese?

I’ll allow it.

Just don't go to Midsomer Pastures (from Midsomer Murders). Someone was murdered by being crushed by a giant rolling wheel of cheese. It wasn't pretty. I would also not like to fall in a vat of fondue.

Death by eating way too much cheese would be better. Cheese is delicious.

Mine is a slide, I’m not too worried as I survived my first injury via a slide.

I was 5-6 years old on the slide in the swing set in out back yard and my brother was on a slide. I wanted him to go fasted so I pushed him from the top of the slide. My finger was in the mechanism and when it moved, it sliced the top of my finger off. That was in the late 60s.
long story, the top was sewn back on but I have a mutant finger and fingernail.

But I will be watching out for slides from now on 😂

Rather late to the game (I'm in Las Vegas with my son partying it up!) but mine is headphones, which is great as I never, ever wear them. I hate having anything on my head including any form of hat (I consent to the hood on a parka if it is actively raining or snowing and thats about it), so I am apparently safe from death!

I was thinking New Guinean penis guard, but who knows.

D was my first choice as well. The ability to move dice around would seem like a good way to pick up a little extra spending cash in Vegas.  Plus, every time I had a dog that started to run away, I could just pick him up with my mind and bring him back.

I like C- cookies, clouds, cars and especially cats! We have 3 furbabies and they are very loving but can be SO naughty! And the clock- I could speed it up during boring work days and slow it down during quiet off days.

C for me too.

Manipulate time -no brainer

Clouds -can I "Schleprock" someone?

Cars -The power to get those asshats to move out of the left lane!

Cats -I'm not a cat person, so I'd need to find a cat consultant (a catsultant?)

And Cookies!

B, because I figure I would be able to control any type of ball, and the teams I follow usually need all the help that they can get!  Maybe more so with a bat, which I could also control.  (Although this kind of sounds like a bad sports movie for kids from the 1980s.)  And I'm not sure exactly how I would use my powers on a bagel (which is pictured in the question), but it intrigues me.

C please (though whatever anyone says about telekinetic powers, a cat is never going to be manipulated).

(What's the last object for D?  It looks kind of like a hamentash, but that seems a bit obscure and doesn't start with D!)

C because I love to drive but would also love for all the other cars to vanish sometimes. And my cats need daily manipulation when I have to move them in order to trap the latest lizard one of them has brought in through the cat door and get it safely back outside. The cookies need be manipulated far, far away before I eat them all.

Time to revive the QotD! I'm a big fan of making lists so let's do some top 10 or top 5 lists. The rules are no more than 10 things on the list, if it's hard to narrow it down, well that's the point. It can be less than 10 though. We'll start with an easy one.

10 most favorite foods. This can include a dish like Pad Thai or tuna casserole or something cooked all together in the same pot like pot roast with carrots and potatoes. It cannot contain an answer like Thanksgiving dinner. That's cheating!

I have to ask whether you crunch your Minstrels or let them "melt in the mouth"?  (I understand this can be a divisive question.)

It depends.  If I'm where I can get them easily (like on vacation in Scotland in June), I'll crunch them, and buy lots more to bring home.  But now that I'm back in the US, I savor them, since I don't know when I'll be able to get more.  I brought home a LOT, too, but they're almost gone.  😢

When I used to go regularly to the UK I would pack a small, carry-on compliant suitcase with my clothes and put it inside a large one.  Lots of room then for sweets, biscuits, necessities like M&S knickers (back when they were good quality) for the return journey.

(Why is it that the good stuff never lasts as long as it's supposed to?)
