Galavant In The Media

Recommended Posts

I am irrationally happy about the news of the renewal.

Please, Galavant, rescue Isabella and live happily ever after.

Casting news - being cautious! Per TVline:

* John Stamos will reprise his role as Galavant’s Sir Jean Hamm during Season 2 of ABC’s midseason comedy.

Is casting news considered spoilerish? Over in the ouat thread casting is considered "media" and not spoiler-ish, but I don't know if the same mentality applies to this board too.

In other news: Apparently Tim's going to be a guest at the JusInBelloCon (whenever that is--this year/next year?)

Jus In Bello is a Supernatural convention held in Rome, usually in May.

Ooohhhhh...didn't know that. I doubt he'll be talking about Galavant at all then.

Depends on what the audience asks him about. His character died on Supernatural this season--although that means little on that show--and this is a year away. So, possibly he'll get more questions about Galavant? Supernatural conventions can be weird that way.

I can't remember if it's 8 or 10 eps for season 2 (I know Agent Carter got 10 eps., but I can't rememver if Galavant got extended or not).

I don't really consider this very spoilerish, because anyone who watched the last episode should know that we'd probably be seeing this/these character(s) again, but this is kind of a confirmation that they are probably returning.

https://twitter.com/klikkonthis/status/631429970921943040 and this pretty much confirms the return of Hugh Bonneville and the guys who play the pirate crewhttps://twitter.com/klikkonthis/status/631458554407440384

There's no exact date yet. It's a midseason premiere again, so it'll probably start around the same time it did last year. Some time at beginning of January, probably.

And the good news is that it's a slightly longer season order than last year (ten episodes instead of eight), so we will get five weeks of it instead of four (and I just figured out why:  there are five Sundays in January 2016!).

I'm not sure how to really describe this, but Joshua Sasse is one of the "faces" of the current Brooks Brothers campaign.  There is a huge poster of him in the store window.  Others include Tony Goldwyn from "Scandal" and the guy who plays the annoying law student Asher on "How to Get Away With Murder".  Maybe Brooks Brothers has a deal with ABC?  But Christina Hendricks from "Mad Men" is also there.  It seems like good exposure for the show that Sasse got picked by BB.

Per Luke Youngblood's Twitter & FB today - 8 weeks go to!  That jives with a tweet yesterday that attributed Weird Al Yankovic as saying that season 2's premiere date is January 3rd.  Sooooo excited!!!

Was Isabella even in there?

No!  Hopefully we'll get a better trailer soon that has Izzy in it, and more than a one-second flash of Sid in a bathtub, and about twice that much of Gareth.

Maybe they didn't want to show her outside her little house so as to not spoil if/how she gets out.

For the record, I *might have squeed when I heard the music. :-))
