I can't believe no one mentioned how Robin gets the big house!  I guess he really is treating her like 1st wife.  My other thought is he thinking of building one big house so he can go bankrupt and they can not take it away from him?  You are allowed to keep 1 house.  Just made me wonder...

No Maddie, Kody isn't "bored". Doubt he has visited every museum or hiked every trail in LV. Kody always thinks the grass is greener on the other side so someplace, somewhere is going to be better than where he is now. And his wives blindly follow him because they are too stupid to say no to him.

Kody keeps saying they are moving for the benefit of the family - a better life. But they know it will be at least 2 years before they are all back together.

 In 2 years, Gabe, Aurora, Gwen will be college bound. Savanna and Brianna will be almost finished high school. 

Doesn't add up.

I'd say Janelle's family loses the most. She moves away from her grandchild. She rips Savannah away from likely the only friends (and Christine) she has (and has to start 8th grade at a new school - tough age). She rips Gabe from a high school he loves and a girlfriend. 

And Janelle doesn't get a 7 bedroom mansion like Robyn. Why didn't they show the other rentals? Hmm.

Please, Janelle. Explain how this benefits your family.

and his logic was nuts.  They went to Robyn's first to unload, then each other wives' and then back to Robin's with any stuff that wouldn't fit in the other 3 houses because Robyn's is the biggest.  Ummm...then why not just start out at the other 3 houses and do Robyn's last, including the overflow from the original 3?  Seems like logic!  and a time and effort saver.

My thoughts on some of the things we saw last night:

• Loved how grounded and mature Maddie's attitude was. 
• Sad that Kody was crying that hard over Caleb. I'm hoping we just didn't see him crying this hard for his two daughters.
• Robyn's house. Seriously? SERIOUSLY???
• Did you hear Kody say, "Meri's got a rental, Robyn's got a rental, Janelle's got a rental, but Christine and I don't have a place yet" "Christine and I"????
• Ariella was adorable when comforting Meri.
• I, too felt sad for Meri in her TH about how time marches on. It really is true and sometimes it just hits you smack in the face like that and it can be so hard.
• I thought we saw a little bit of Robyn's true colors when they were focusing on her needing Breana to watch Ariella. She almost growled those words.
• The thing that I thought was super-troubling was the messes they still had lying around those rooms while they were packing up the trucks. It in no way looked like it was moving day for these people! I would have had everything in boxes and labeled with my name and the room it goes to. Also, couldn't they have put each person's stuff in their own truck(s)? Rather than just throwing it all into multiple trucks haphazardly.

Oh, the body language here!  Kody hardy-har-har's about another husband because he's so busy with this stupid move, he doesn't have time to properly scrunch his hair.  Christine and Robyn smugly smirk 'cause they're getting all the visits from lil' Kody, so no problems there.  Janelle outwardly guffaws because she doesn't care one way or the other.  MERI, on the other hand...whoa.  If looks could kill, Kody would be nothing more than a little pile of frizzy-fried hair and faded denim.

I love this.  When the kids were younger, they were far more likely to follow their parents because that's what little kids do.  I absolutely love that we are getting the unvarnished truth from the Brown kids as they become adults.  Aspyn, Gabe, Maddie - all have told us that their parents are flakes whose constant moves have no sound reasoning or logic.

I hated this episode so much, I actually stopped before I saw the Kody/Caleb love-fest.  I was really disturbed by watching these kids have to once again uproot themselves in the name of ratings.  I was upset by the way Robyn growled at Dayton and Aurora.  I was upset by Gabe being yelled at by Janelle (but I loved that he hadn't even packed up his room on Moving Day).  I hated how Christine yelled at her kids while she was cutting up watermelon (??).  I loathed Kody's constant lamenting on how stressed and emotional he was while each wife had to basically pack up her entire house solo, with the absense of all of Kody's big strong sons, even though I also 100% think this is what the wives deserved.  The chaos of every house made me twitchy.  All four houses were full of so much random crap, it was unbelievable.  I had to turn it off, I can't explain how much these scenes bothered me.  I'm no Marie Kondo but the houses were all just so gross-looking.  Blech.

and this can't be stressed enough....apparently they had recently purchased a FRIKKIN' COW! and now had to transport 600 pounds of meat as well as dry ice!!!  Good planning.  Ya know, when you have a moving date set (or even...say....a vacation date) you use up your food beforehand.

That's how they left the Utah house too. Their excuse was that they had to leave in a hurry because the police were coming to get them! Yeah no, you are just lazy and gross. I would be so embarrassed. When you sell a home, aren't you expected to leave it in somewhat clean conditions for the new owners? Those houses have been beaten to a pulp. I would never buy one. You know in real estate listings you see "pride of ownership" mentioned as a selling point, what is the opposite of that?

The most positive thing that can be said of this episode is that at least it wasn't 2 hours. 

Good Lawd, Robyn's house is monstrously huge. One thing I gotta give Robyn is that coming into the Brown fold has definitely improved her living situation. It may indeed be an illusion and the house of cards may fall at any time, but she has been living very well for a decade. She went from living in some dumpy apt with the Mary Kay lady threatening to break her kneecaps if she don't pay her bill to living in mcmansions. 

She may be harmless but Aurora so gets on my nerves. I was rolling my eyes hard when she was crying over the mcmansion. Between her daughters, Breanna seems like more the rebel. Aurora definitely follows Robyn's lead more (perhaps even blindly) and will likely follow in her footsteps, although she seems a bit too simple and guileless to be as cunning as Robyn is. Or maybe that's what they want me to think ... hmmm... 

I think it is so stupid and wasteful for Christine not to stay at Robyns for a few weeks while she waits for her house to close. She would rather pay rent than stay for a short duration of time with a sister wife. Another indication that everything they say about the perks of plyg is bullshit!

It is not by accident that the majority of the more vocal kids that ain't afraid to say and who they ain't happy are Janelle's. They were the maddest over the LV too. The only non-Janelle kid I remember being a problem was Paedon. I think Janelle's kids are more independent and free-thinking not necessarily because of her but in spite of her. She herself has said she left the child-rearing to the other wives. Although, I think Christine did her best, Logan raised Christine's family. I can't blame his ass for being done with no fucks left to give.

That was one of the more interesting Brown tidbits of information I've heard in a while. Not the organ meat part, but that they buy whole cows. LOL!

The Kody and Caleb long goodbye and not one tear fell from Kodys eye!  I watched and waited and nope he could not garner even one tear!

Also during the big packing bonanza not one wet under arm!  That bunch had movers.  Bet on it!

What a laugh it all was!  And where were the sons?  They did not need them because they had movers and if the unfavored ones were to show up they would be in on the $$$ distribution for that episode!

Only the favored ones will Sir Kody pay!

I don't know why it took me so long to realize this but Gabe definitely outsmarted all the adults!

He did not pack up his room.  When pushed he simply moved out some of the furniture - all the rest of his crap was still there.  He knows at some point they WILL have to have come back and empty the house.  Will Janelle make the effort to get off the couch and come back?  Oh hell no!  Who will have to do it?  Why Gabe, of course!  If he manages to be convincingly inefficient (expected behavior in the Brown clan) he can get several more visits with his friends in before he needs to be "officially" done.  He even left his bed so he would have a comfortable place to sleep while visiting.  

And all the people who pointed out the older sons wanted no part of this shit show were spot on.  They are probably ALL sick of being used as donkey labor while Kody runs around doing nothing.  For all his talking it didn't look like he was actually doing much hauling.

Usually networks hold off on making renewal decisions until after a season has completed.  Plus, the show’s been averaging a .3 rating for a few years now, but the series just keeps chugging along, so I don’t get it.  

(.3 seems low to me, but maybe it’s average in the cable tv world.  Or at least good enough).

My guess is that they're getting more than usual of the critical Tweets and responses to this season, judging from the snippy responses from all the parents. Makes you wonder if TLC is taking notice and this could sway them to cancel this hot mess outright, being that the logic behind the move is a colossal FAIL to a majority of viewers. 

And you KNOW that Kody has taken note that his favorite is being called out by fans as the catalyst behind the move AND getting a home mansion that is WAY beyond their means and needs. In other words, no one is buying your fake tears and stress, RoboChin.

Did anyone catch Kody say 'I just like advancing my job position' in response to Madison saying that they like to move a lot?  So he pretty much confirms it's to keep TLC interested?  So far I haven't heard a peep about moving due to a great job opportunity in AZ.  People here have been saying it, but I think Kody slipped and confirmed it.  Oopsy. 

Someone here also said that Kody's got a permanent case of the-grass-is-always-greener.  But you can't get away from your troubles when you're creating it, because wherever you go, there you are.  I have a friend like this.  She always hates where she lives.  Complains about everything, thinks when she gets to the next place life will be a breeze.  But then it's not, and it's because people drive to slow here, too many weirdos come on to her all the time (quit hanging out where the weirdos do, my dear), her job doesn't pay enough.  People are rude.  It was much better where she came from.  But when she lived there, it was too hot and humid, people drove too fast and aggressive....You get it.  Her discontentment is in herself and she can never move away from it.  Just like the Browns. 

ETA: Perhaps the Brown's are each privately wishing they'd chosen monogamy?

Apparently Robyn's place rents for $3,500/mo.  Part of why they are paying 3X more for living space until the cult-de-sac houses sell.

I really wonder if TLC will renew, as one would think it would be more expensive to produce, with the Browns spread out all over Flagstaff. In LV (and previously in the multifamily house) the cameras were basically in one area, no need to travel any distance unless they were following the Browns on an outing. Does that mean we would be treated to even more fake reasons for all the Browns to congregate in one place? Must see TV for sure. 

Good on the poster who commented that none of the Browns were sweating as they were emptying their houses. Didn't they just comment a day or two before that it was 106F in LV? Sure they moved themselves. If you believe that, I have a tract of land to sell you in Flagstaff - it is a great deal!

Yeah yeah, I know SOMEONE cleaned it up (whether the Browns came back the next weekend or hired someone or whatever) so that they could show the homes - but the impression they gave was that they loaded their junk - left crap and messy homes behind - and drove off with a single tear in Kody Brown's left eyeball as he waved.

That giant house for only $3500? I should move to Flagstaff! You could get about 1400 sq ft in LA for that.

I certainly hope they paid someone to clean up their Vegas houses for them after they left. A realtor is going to need to show them, and s/he is not going to do that clean up themselves.

And... if they can afford paying mortgages on the Vegas houses and the Flagstaff land plus the rentals in Flagstaff - they could afford to hire movers. I'm sure if was TLC production's idea that they do all the moving themselves. Or else - what would they film?

I moved not too long ago and hope I don't ever move again it is very stressful and so much work, we all know that. I don't find watching a show centred on packing belongings humping boxes etc at all entertaining.
