I stopped watching "Supernatural" after the original five-season arc ended, but I maintain that the good episodes of that show are so good that they're worth wading through a sea of mediocrity for. Though most of them were written by Ben Edlund and can be tracked down that way.

When I saw y'all's twitter chatter about "Nightman" I couldn't believe it was happening. I saw ("watched" would be the wrong word) more episodes of that show than I care to say. . . mostly because I had the hots for Matt McColm, despite his terrible 90s hair. I could still tell you more about his career than anyone but his mother has business knowing.

The Night Man credits are amazing. There's so much that seems to be happening in them, but no indication why any of it matters.  Who are those people are? What is their relationship with Night Man? What is up with his red eye in the suit? Why is he so cautious when he's stepping out of the comic book frame? Could he fly a helicopter before he was Night Man? How does an actor deserve an "and" if no one's ever hear of him?

I will miss The Littlest Hobo updates, but I need answers.

I feel like I may have watched Nightman in my wayward youth.  It looks vaguely familiar.  Then again,I was an only child and watched way too much shit as a kid that I should not have been watching.  This may have been one of those shows.....

Also, TWO people of color in the main cast....impressive.  I may have to watch the pilot, if only to see Taylor Dane.

I like how the Night Man pretend defense conference is called "Millennium 21". Like, that's the year 22001, guys. They wanted to mash up "the new millennium" with "century 21" and produced something that was neither. (Also, how lucky they were to be anti-gravitating over water when the batteries died. If they had been over land, that would have been a quick end to the series right there.)

Listening now. Not sure I'd put that particular episode of Black Mirror last, but not sure where else I'd put it either. The first story-within-a-story was too "torture porn" for me, but I liked where the episode ended up. And @Sarah D. Bunting is right about about how gutpunch-y "monkey needs a hug" was :(

I have no recollection of Night Man. My sister and I just ponied up the $4 to watch the first two episodes. Those of you who did not bother with the second episode missed the most amazing David Hasselhoff cameo ever. It's all rubbish of course.

I've never watched Supernatural and doubt I ever will. But thanks for the canon submission. I did watch that episode and enjoyed it immensely. I think they nailed the tone of the different tv shows very well. Anything that makes fun of CSI: Miami and David Caruso in particular is a win in my book.

The guy who played the doctor in Black Museum was Daniel Lapaine, who was the hot South African guy that Toni Collette marries in Muriel's Wedding. I guess he's probably done some other work, but that's the most important credit in my mind.

As to the title of the episode "Crocodile" - I suspect it's a reference to Captain Hook and the crocodile that follows him everywhere to get another bite of him? I could be wrong (I haven't watched that episode yet), but after listening to the podcast, that seems to make the most sense from the episode description, @Sarah D. Bunting. I may be wrong, but that was my first thought in listening!

L.A. to Vegas is one of those shows that amuses me and occasionally makes me chuckle. When it goes off, I've enjoyed it. Then I forget about its existence.

My favorite things about The Marvelous Mrs Maisel: the wardrobe and the sets. They are beautiful. I enjoy getting a peek into vintage details like her workout routine at the health club.

I don't think Midge broke up with Joel over the stolen material. He actually left her after they fought. Plus, he was having an affair.

Tina Fey has always gotten a pass on shit she doesn't deserve a pass on. Consider: two shows on the same network, the same night, and the one about small-town government in Indiana had more queer recurring characters/stories than the one about the entertainment industry in New York. Only one of those shows had a main-credits cast member who had a bit in his standup routine about how he would kill any son of his who turned out gay, yet both of them won GLAAD media awards.
