If you have Apple whether iPhone or iPad or Apple TV, you know you can just go buy it on iTunes? That’s what I did.   I made a burner email and made a burner account on iTunes, stuck a USA address on it, bought some US iTunes gift card and bought the seasons.   But if you only have iPhone don’t do it if you don’t have either iPad or Apple TV as well as iPhone just because Apple has this weird rule that on iPhones you can only switch to a different account that is in a different

Culture Check: There are two definitions for gay. Which one has been used here? How do we stay conscious of how the other meanings of words we're using can do harm?

10 days between finals and first meeting. I was wondering the same thing. 10 days seems like plenty of time to find that out unless he sent them very close to the start of TC.

I have zero inside knowledge about this, but I would imagine that the disgusting ex-boyfriend deliberately chose to do so once he'd heard she was invited to camp in order to spoil any chance she might have ever had of making the team.  To send those photographs during tryouts prior to camp would not have necessarily achieved the results he wanted - it is far more likely that he waited until she was happily sharing the news with her friends and family, and then made his move.  Carla paid a heavy price for trusting a revolting human being.

He was probably thrilled beyond belief that it was shown on television.  Thank you Kelli and Charlotte.  Hope your daughters never have anything like this happen to them.

RE missing rehearsals:  I just found a rehearsal in season 9 that Judy missed (they brought in DJ Guthrie and Tina Kalina to "help" Kelli).  Did we count this rehearsal when counting what Judy and Kelli have missed over the years as opposed to the girls?

I don't understand how any young female (really any age) could allow someone to take intimate photos of her body, or for that matter, video them having intercourse or performing things on each other.  I just find it amazing that anyone would put themselves in that position.

Accounts get hacked, photos and videos emerge on the internet--it just doesn't make sense to me.  I've never known a man that I wanted that badly that I would allow this to occur.

Also fully realize things happen without a girl knowing it.

Brenda Teele, news anchor for KTBS in Shreveport. I think she formerly worked for a Dallas station.

whether she took the photos willingly or not is entirely irrelevant.  Revenge porn is illegal for a reason (as well as completely morally reprehensible).

I'm listening to the end of Season 12, and I really shouldn't...because watching Taryn's cut makes me so effing angry. The way it was done....."we ask ourselves is she ready for the team....and our answer is NO."

I'm glad Taryn hasn't tried out again. She deserves better.

I think Taryn was the only one who came back without auditioning. She was cut from DCC training camp after the AAIA auditions. Kristin was cut before and was able to audition again.

It’s funny how Whitney could get away with blackface but others catch Hell for party pics. The favoritism is so obvious. I still haven’t found out why the Cassie years are called the “bitchy years”.

Cassie was bitchy during her time on the squad.  She excuses it now by saying she was young and didn’t know better.  Well, Mama should have known better.

Wow..

Just saw in the current season playing on Pluto that Ms Kitty has "metal hips".  You would never know she's had hip replacement surgery!

 

Side note:  Who is the blonde TV host judge?

If you have a gifted surgeon, most likely no one can tell.  I had my right hip replaced two years ago and people are always gobsmacked when I tell them.  It makes you bionic. 😉

Exactly.  My former boss had one hip operated on - you couldn't tell.  Second hip - different surgeon, nearly killed him.  He had a second surgery on it, but he will always have to use a cane now.

My Mom's had a hip and knee (same side -the knee was planned and hip from a fall) done and I had a shoulder repair (fell on hardwood floor and have pins/plate) and you can definitely tell (especially when it's wet/cold out).  I'd love to have had Kitty's Dr!

PlutoTV keeps making me giggle. The season 12 "Touch the Star!" episode is on now, and right after that cringeworthy segment, it goes right to the James Franco licking his mirror reflection commercial....

So now in my head, I'm seeing several dozen girls in workout gear licking a giant star....how any of them got through that tour without rolling their eyes so hard, I'll never know.

Watching the Hall Of Fame game episode and thinking that Jenna should have been cut on the spot when Kelli confronted her about questioning getting point back.  Goodness knows there were rookies that year that got cut  (ie Brennan) that were more deserving of a spot than whiny Jenna.

I wonder if they knew she had been fraternizing before, when they asked her if she was ready to step up and be a leader? Because otherwise, why even have that conversation at the beginning of the season? Unless they have that same talk with every vet, and CMT only airs the ones that prove prophetic?

And I notice that the “situation has come to our attention” happened right on the heels of someone telling Kitty that Gina thought she was better than anyone...Makes me wonder if the fraternization locker room talk got reported in protest that Gina got told off? (Not accusing G, but thinking that If I was watching a rookie teammate get railroaded, I might let a few of the favored ones secrets out of the bag..)

Obviously, Season 12 broke me. I think that’s why I survived 13 without gnawing my own legs off. 

 

Team Gina. Heal thy ACL, and knock ‘me dead next year!

Some thoughts 🙂.  Many of the ladies , you can see and hear growth and maturity after they have been on the squad a few seasons.  Jenna never seemed to get there ( just my opinion ).   Secondly , Christina.   Why ?    Just why I’m so many things ...

Over the years, watching some of the girls mature, like Brooke, Melissa K, Lacey, Danielle, etc....makes it even more glaring when others seem to be arrested at the maturity level of their rookie year. Jenna was one of those for me.

Me too.  However, if Kelli plans on making a storyline out of what Shaina went thru this year and how she is moving on, I don't want to see it.  If Shaina wants to mention it, that's different.

Concerning Cheryl Dorris AKA Door Lady had breast cancer 5 years ago.  Somehow I found a recent podcast she made with the cohost of another Cowboys’ show.  It was about breast cancer.  She said they had a makeup person who had breast cancer & opted to go a natural diet based approach.  She finally went for traditional treatment but it was too late & she died.  Cheryl also struggled with really believing she had cancer as if she was standing outside watching it happen to someone else.  Someone said on LinkedIn it showed she wasn’t working for Kelli as of Nov.  Does anyone know about this.  I would hope it was because she decided to retire & not because her cancer came back.

Ugh. Watching the current episode.  Anybody that auditions should watch past seasons of the show if only to learn Kelli's "M.O."..

Kelli (to Erin S her first time auditioning, or any TCC for that matter) "We need talk about where we are" = you're getting cut.

Almost makes me wonder if CMT has "scripted" her to say that because she does it almost, if not every time she cuts someone.
