Why is Dorinda saying she didn’t do anything?  Maybe because she was stinking drunk in Mexico and yelling “ Jovanni” at the club.   I just do not like her.  She thinks only her opinion is right, and she is a BULLY.  I’m tired of her saying how much she did for everybody.  Nobody asks her for anything.  They all don’t need to go to her house in the Bezerkshires.  Stay on Long Island soshe doesn’t throw it in their faces.  She brings a bag of shit to Ramona’s house and expects them to fall all over her.  I’d take Lou any day over Dorinda.  Those mermaid outfits from the dollar store were ridiculous.  She thinks only she is so clever.

I thought the opposite. I thought the group with Luann seemed to be having a good time and genuinely happy that Lu was doing okay at that point. I do have to give points to Dorinda.  Sending that Tyler Perry quote was really shady.  It was a great way to give lip service to Luann's demanded apology while saying I couldn't give two f**ks about you or giving you an apology.

That's how I saw it too. Blondes more fun? Don't think so. 

But I do hated the way the brunettes had their hands all they their hair at that restaurant. Gah! So annoying.

Well, two episodes in and B hasn't pissed me off yet. I'm impressed that she's being kind to Louann. She really has a quick wit and I like her as long as she isn't eviscerating  someone. We'll see how long that lasts. Her investment property is beautiful  really enjoyed seeing that  

I don't know what it is about Lu but despite the fact she can annoy the hell out of me I cut her a lot of slack. I think part of it is her resilience and that she doesn't wallow in self pity  I wonder if she and her kids have reconciled  

I think Sonja is looking good and seems happy. And  Tinsley's looking good too. Much better hair. I was pretty impressed with her tennis - and how hysterical was Ramona's walk off, with explanation of how much she had worked out that day, when the pro was paying too much attention to Tinsley? She's the epitome of self absorbed. 

Dorinda can get off my tv anytime now  I really liked her first season but she's become uglier each season after.. She's a humorless bitch even when she's sober.

Barbara's look is very dated. She might fit in the the NJ housewives, but I'll downgrade her further and say she's more Jersey Shore. She rough looking, and her voice is grating. I wasn't very impressed with her home either.  So far, I'm not feeling her. 

Dorinda's really become a nasty bitter bitch. Holy crap. If she' sober, she's not just a miserable drunk, but a miserable person. 

Tinsley looks great this season, and she did look cute in the mermaid's costume. I liked Sonja's hair extensions and the white lace dress - very Aphrodite. Her dog, Marley is adorable. 

Ramona is like a small yappy hyper dog that is constantly humping everything, and everyone. Simmer down, girl!

If I was Bethenny, I'd hold on to that investment property. It's gorgeous. 

I hope Lu can get her shit together. One never knows with her because she's very good at pretending that everything is great.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Tinsley has some legit tennis skills.  She hit a one handed backhand pretty well.   She blew Ramona out of the water.

The countess has been and always will be a snob.  I like her, but she needs to check the self righteousness.  

That being said, Dorinda is equally guilty of lacking self awareness.  She was terrible to Luanne in Mexico and she continues to rant about all of Luanne’s screw-ups....never mind the fact that those screw ups had nothing to do with Dorinda.

The story behind Luanne’s intervention was pretty off the rails.  Not sure why she continues to blame her kids lawsuit.  It sounds like she’d truly gone off the deep end before the intervention.

I guess I’m in the minority, but I like Barbara.  She was recently featured in the NYTimes for her business.  She also seems like an organic addition in that she comes to the show with actual connections to some of the cast.

This appears to be shaping up to be an exhausting season (and with major storylines involving a dead drug addict and a live dry drunk, that was to be expected) but could we not have had some fun up top, before it all went to hell? A few nutters-let-loose scenes, a little group magic before they blow it sky-high? I like to be wooed before I get screwed.

Ramona (can I actually be saying this?) got it right, imo. Luann didn't really do rehab  (the only step M'Lady is working is the one she takes over whichever body gets in her way next, be they her kids or castmates). 

Also (likely party of one!) Luann can shove her sniggers about somebody quoting Tyler Perry right up her ass. Tyler Perry spent his childhood being beaten (and mind-gamed) by his father, was molested by four adults (the first molestation at age 5) and attempted suicide as a teen...and still found a way to forgive.  Of course, I realize NONE of that compares to what Luann suffered (those terrible awful no-good children pushing her off the wagon - including the paddy wagon - because they weren't willing to let their mother steal from them.  The whorror! The whorror!) 

That said:  bitch, please doesn't even begin to cover Dorinda sending that quote (upside: Dorinda has finally learned black men don't exist just to take her coat! Well done, Do!)

Did anyone catch Barbara saying something about having power of attorney during Lu's manic episode? I'd be interested to know when Lu signed that document, as well as over what exactly Barbara had power to make decisions. If it was prior to Lu's break from reality (which I assume it was), that'd mean that Lu knew she was headed in a bad direction and couldn't be trusted to make rational decisions. 

Also, can we talk about how ridiculous rich people's problems are? One thing I have to say about growing up decidedly middle class, I've never encountered a situation in which the solution to the problem was to sue my own mother. Of course, I can't even imagine stepping foot on the lawn of Bethenny's rental property let alone inheriting a beautiful home like Lu's in Sag Harbor, so what do I know?

Tinsley's got Ramona's number.  If she hadn't mentioned anything, Ramona would definitely take that caviar back home and serve it to her other friends.  She may still do that.

Luann isn't paying attention at all during those court ordered AA meetings she's (not) attending, if she thinks the 1 year no dating rule only applies to dating other people in AA.

Ramona's jealousy over Tinsley's tennis form was palpable.  She is so transparent.

Bethenny's rental house is amazing.  Makes Builder Barb's look that much worse.

Barbara sucks. She clearly invited both Dorinda and Ramona, she even mentions it to Lu when they were eating at Bethenny’s she then doesn’t clarify when Lu calls Sonja which is especially ridiculous because she could have just invited her at dinner and then she expects Sonja to tell Dorinda that she can only come if she calls Lu and absolutely no mention is made of explicitly uninviting Ramona.. Even if it was production who had invited everyone it was on Barbara to do the uninviting not have Sonja do it and passively aggessively day just being Tinsley.

So before I heard the quote, I was cracking up at Dorinda sending a Tyler Perry quote. But it's a great fucking quote and a solid bit of advice. Team brunette was busy cracking up like fucking wisdom can only come from one place. It wasn't from Deepak Chopra, Martin Luther King Jr., Confucius, Gandhi, or Oprah. Are these women even aware of the amount of fool ass shit that has come tumbling out of Chopra's and Oprah's mouths? And their guffaws about it being from Tyler Perry tells me their reactions were more about the source than the substance of the message.

The irony of this is that Bethenny is constantly giving advice on subjects she has at best minimal familiarity and certainly could never be called an expert. And despite her many advice and self-help books, she still has many failed romantic relationships, frequently contentious relationships with her friend-workers, dozens of failed business products, and who knows what else. So she's clearly not learned the secrets to overcoming these issues. If she had any sense, she'd just write memoirs and let readers figure out what she's doing wrong and how to relate that to their own lives.

So if by her own standards that it matters where the message comes from then no one needs to listen to her pontificate about real estate. She's not Keller Williams. She seemed to have a real problem listening to Fredrik, an actual real estate expert, on their show. She was quick to flap her jaws about why Erika Jayne's whole everything was wrong. I happen to agree, but none of that is built on any fucking music industry expertise that I or Bethenny have. Bethenny's not L.A. Reid or Pharrell.

But Bethenny never wants to discount herself as an expert. So the thing she could have done is actually encouraged Luann to think about the actual message of the quote because we all know that Bethenny's going to be irritated by Luann and take Dorinda's side at some point during the season.

I also think Dorinda gave the attribution of the quote because that's who she is and Bethenny's the gotcha lovingest bitch in town.

While I'm sure Bethenny's shock & grief over Dennis' death was real, I do not think she spent every waking moment in despair over it.  I know they weren't married or even officially/publicly engaged, so I wouldn't expect her loss to be treated the same as Carole's or Dorinda's or Jill's loss of their long time partners and husbands (although, per Bethenny's ME! ME! ME! personna, she did compare her being "alone" to Jill's being widowed...at Bobby's funeral) .  Everyone grieves differently.  Bethenny certainly had feelings for Dennis and I'm sure his sudden death was a real blow to her.  However, she was off onto another man within a month or so after Dennis died.  She started dating the real estate dude who saved her life in Sept/Oct I think.  Dennis passed in August I think?  Again, everyone grieves differently & there is no "right" time to jump back into the dating world.  I just hope that every time Bethenny gets into a tricky situation with these women that she doesn't pull out the "Dead Dennis" card to absolve herself from being held accountable for her nasty words or actions.  I'm pretty sure they were still filming RHONY when she started her latest romance, so all of the cast & crew would know she wasn't shrouded in black or in secluded mourning like some Victorian war widow.  

But I would KILL for Bethenny's Hampton houses.  She does have an amazing sense of style.   Romona's house is just so uninviting in my opinion.  She doesn't have a sense of taste or that touch to make her surroundings comfortable or personalized. She also had NO idea what she was talking about when she dissed Bethenny's choice of a house "on the highway".  Shutty, Romona!  That place is Ahhhh-MAZ-ING.  Barb the Builder should partner up with Queen B.

Lu is most definitely back in Countess mode.  Her haughtiness and swelled pumpkin head is what pushes Bethenny back over the  friendship line.  It's nice she's had some success with the cabaret act, but I'd bet the majority of people going to see her shows are Looky-Loos who want to see a TV personality vs. hear her warbling words of wit & wisdom.  But let's face it - Luann is no Patti Lupone or Elaine Stritch.  One would think after being publicly humiliated So. Many. Times Luann's brain would activate the one tiny strand of DNA that contains the humble gene. 

Biggest laugh of the night for me was Romona's "Mermaid Descending a Staircase".  OMG! That needs to be a GIF (with apologies to Mr. Marcel Duchamp).

I wonder what would have been the appropriate way for Dorinda to reach out the first time that would have made the great and powerful cabaret star Luanne happy? Groveling at the feet of the mighty stage star and begging  for forgiveness while kissing the ring?  It was a small first step in breaking the ice to see how she would react and boy howdy did she ever In the most snobbish countess way she could then running to each of the ladies to make fun of it.... wow what a freaking low class bitch thing to do ... lady you are above no one you have been arrested and put in jail you tried to rip off your own kids you had to be forced back into rehab 2 times you had a power of attorney taken out cause you were such a fucking mess and you blame everyone for you drinking other then yourself. How she can have that snobbish outlook at herself like she is the bright shining star that does no and has done no wrong is beyond me. It might have to do with her circle of yes men (friends) around her telling her how great she is without trying to hold her responsible for any of her actions .just my opinion

IIRC,  there was a glimpse of the road from inside of the house.  I'm pretty sure when the cameras were inside, they panned around past a front window and I saw a car zoom by.  I thought to myself "there's the road Ramona was talking about."   If my brain is remembering it correctly, it appeared to be close to the house, but a shot from Google Earth would be helpful!

20 years of AA here...the "one year" of no dating rule is a strong suggestion for all newcomers and it pertains to dating anyone - not just people in AA. That's because all new members are generally completely full of shit when we arrive. Its takes a good couple of years of actually working a program with a sponsor to start to figure things out. No one really follows the rule, but later we all wish we did lol! I've never her Lu use the word "steps" or "sponsor." "Working the steps" means you are actively working a program and a sponsor is recommended due to the newcomer being completely full of shit once again.

And to hear her blame her kids for her downfall is appalling. She was running all over NY looking for $6 million??? She forced her kids into this and is still blaming them. One of our slogans is - "the same man will drink again." So I don't think it bodes well for Lu or Dorinda. Dorinda was a nasty ass

Yea, I'm far from an expert, but that sounded off to me. Not dating, period, sounds more reasonable. It should go without saying that you don't start hooking up with people at your meetings.

It seems like Lu is going to let all the attention she got about her intervention/rehab/sobriety go to her head. I shouldn't be surprised. 

what is this them trying to "shield" Luanne bullshit and fracturing the group? This is a job for all of them if she cant handle being around her coworkers without relapsing on her own she doesn't need to be on the show and needs to go back to rehab to learn how to function in the real world with out drinking ...... Are they going to shield her forever because she "might" drink? it should be her who isnt invited to parties that are thrown for the show not the others I mean honestly  ....

Does Barbara have a horn pendant to color-coordinate with every outfit? She had at least 3 different ones on this episode. I first noticed the big white one she wore to dinner, she wore a green one to go with her tucked-in polo shirt, and the one she wore to the clambake. Maybe she does belong in Jersey.

You are so right.  Having friends and family who "really work" the AA program, what Luann said is untrue.  I guess she goes to AA meetings for the coffee and donuts.

I guess Lu is never going to admit that she violated the divorce decree. She keeps saying that her kids “really like having a/that house in the Hamptons.” That’s why they sued her.

The interiors were fantastic.

Here is the listing for the house she bought..  Montauk Highway is pretty busy but the street view in Google maps shows it's pretty hidden.  Seems like she got it for a great price though.   Not a Bethenny fan but I agree she has a great eye for design.
