I missed the Colt-ton family visit since I jumped the privacy fence into AGT territory to get away from the high-school theatrics and non-stop petty fighting and arguing going on with this group of kids. I love me some Colorado scenic porn, but this bunch of knuckleheaded children is pushing me out of my limits of tolerance.

rlc, thank you for that picture of Britt. It served to remind me of what could have been. For the record, Britt is arguably one of the prettiest ladies to ever grace this franchise.  Caelyn?  Not so much.

Oh god, now we've got another one who says someone "isn't ready." WTH. And "blindsided" has now been added back into the vocabulary. Even the PAs must be bored with this season because I sure am.

Kirpa wasted her whole time talking about someone else.

Colton’s expression when he was with Cassie was so different than with anyone else.... kind of soft and smitten IMO.

Oh man, more with the "what did you hear" and "I only want what's best for you" and gossip hearsay make it all up. Bye guys. Heading back to AGT. I've been out of high school WAY too long to even listen to this crap. Colt-ton is as big a gossip and tattle tale as all these little girls the show fixed him up with. GAH. I'm out.

So obviously Cole-TIN doesn’t like Taysha or he wouldn’t have asked her about the other women. He would have asked her about her own reasons. He’s basically saying to her, “I’m asking you because I don’t want to be wrong in the end and it’s not you that I’m picking.”

I just fell a little in love with Cassie when she pointed out the difference between facts and opinions.  Critical thinking on The Bachelor!  Be still, my heart.  And brain.

That was great! “It’s my opinion you’re an idiot!” Ha!

Cassie and Caelynn aren't helping themselves by being so defensive and insulting the other girls. If they did nothing wrong, it would be a lot better to calmly explain that and let Colton decide for himself. The yelling and cursing isn't a great look.

This thing is for Hannah G to lose.

I want her to "lose" and be the Bachelorette because she's pretty and looks good in clothes and I'm shallow like that. Seriously though, I appreciate that she's quietly stayed out of the drama and looks vaguely amused while the other girls fight.

Unless she had an ulterior motive, I was a bit impressed that Caelynn DID step in.  It's the closest we've seen to a selfless move on this show.

True. She had to know she stood a better chance of "winning" if Kirpa stayed than if Cassie stayed. He's clearly into Cassie and Kirpa was clearly cannon fodder. So, other than actually doing the right thing, they only ulterior motive I could think of is she doesn't want to win and feels safer getting the Bachelorette gig if Cassie sticks around. I can always find an ulterior motive. Not fact. Just my opinion. Actually, not even my opinion. I think she actually likes Cassie as a friend and wants her to have a shot. Also, her producer told her to, and if she wants the B'ette gig, she's gotta do as she's told.

I don’t believe in tearing other women down but if one comes for me like Taysha did to Caelynn, I wouldn’t have a problem with calling her a stupid bitch. Taysha didn’t know anything and just made up a lie. Sorry but she’s the one tearing women down. Caelynn’s reaction to being lied about was natural. That being said, they all want to be the bachelorette if not chosen as wifey. Yes, including Taysha.

I think Caelynn cares more about Cassie as a friend than Colton as a potential husband. Therein, she just ended up proving the point that she’s not 100% in with Colton. On the other hand, if she really did think she could marry Colton, then I guess I understand that you wouldn’t want your husband second guessing whether he made a mistake.

To be clear, I think they're both in the wrong. But Caelynn could have reacted better and then I'd be completely on her side. Just think it's funny that both quotes came out of her mouth within one episode.

Yeah, that’s funny that she said both in the same episode but Taysha kinda asked for it and started it.

It does seem like Cassie and Caelynn said something about the bachelorette because they both are very concerned about their words being taken out of context. And the fact that Caelynn said something about her friendship with Taysha being fake makes it seem like they talked about the prospect of the bachelorette as well. Considering they all want the gig and they all know it, I think Taysha is very wrong for throwing anyone under the bus. The only one I like is Hannah G. She stays out of the bullshit.

I believe Tayshia.  And Kirpa.  And Katie. And Sidney. And Hannah. And Hannah.  Sorry, but there's like 4 million of them all telling the same damn story.  There was  a lot of allusions without spelling it out, but finally Tayshia spelled it absolutely out (According to Tayshia, both girls spoke about becoming Bachelorette.  According to Tayshia, neither girl wants to get engaged at the end of this.  If the women actually said these things, then no, these are not Tayshia's opinions).  Kirpa seems super intelligent to me, almost like a robot, annnnnnnnnnnd just certain things about Caelynn and Cassie that we already know, well, yeah, I believe it.

But I also knew that Colton would end up choosing them.  There were a few curveballs there but it mostly went the way I thought.

I'm just talking about what I think, and believe, obviously, - clearly I don't know either way.  But that's what I'm thinking.  I also think there's got to be some reason a lot of the girls can't spell it out - something preventing them.........  Because they're all avoiding spelling out the real so-called "red flags" in the same way.

Colton knew before this date that he wasn’t picking Hannah but yet he still takes her to meet his parents? Why? Why not take Cassie on that date? This was all a set up to make the previews look like hometowns. That’s a pretty cruel thing to do to the girl.

But didn’t all of them just repeat the line that Katie said something without naming names, and they all guessed it was Cassie and Caelynn based on their “defensive reaction” (whatever that was) after Katie left? This isn’t even secondhand information. No one clearly stated that Cassie said ____ and Caelynn said ____. That’s why all of these Wrong Reasons accusations are so cryptic—there are no facts to report.

What do you mean?  Tayshia did explicitly say those things.

Those are  3 separate points.

- defensive reaction after Katie left - Kirpa said this, and I believe this was discussed openly among Hannah (not pageant) and Kirpa as well.  Also Tayshia said this I believe.
- they both said they don't want to get engaged after this - Tayshia said this part
- they both talked about being Bachelorette - Tayshia said this part

What did Tayshia say that they said? My kids were being loud, so maybe I missed it. All I heard was the repitition that Katie wouldn’t have made up that people are there for the Wrong Reasons, and everyone assumed it was C&C based on them acting defensive after the announcement that Katie made a mysterious accusation. Did Tayshia hear them say something firsthand and clearly laid out the quotations? I’m dying to know! All the Katie said-ing was driving me bonkers.

Yes, I answered you above.  She did explicitly lay out the quotations. I rewound it like 3 times.

I thought Tayisha said they all talked and it was their opinion it was Cassie and Caelynn.

I am sure he did not have a choice. He is the producers' puppet!

I think where some confusion is coming in is that Tayshia told Colton she heard Cassie and Caelynn express that they weren't ready for marriage and had designs on being the Bachelorette.  But when Caelynn confronted Tayshia on this, she didn't affirm that she heard them say this directly but rather alluded to Katie's comments and their defensive behavior in respect to them.  That is why I said it felt like something was edited out or there is way too much manipulation of footage because it seems like such a leap between the 2 stories.  Either Tayshia blatantly lied to Colton and cooly reacted to Caelynn's accusation of such.. or there are parts we just didn't see.

It's annoying because while some girl cattiness and ridiculous over the top behavior makes this show fun to snark on.. this is all high school level drama, that even if true, isn't earth shattering the way they make it seem.

I think there is a possibility that there are a lot of micro-interactions going on that make a whole bunch of women all feel similarly - so much so that they all felt the need to warn Colton right after being dumped by him - pretty selfless in my opinion - that can't exactly be shared on camera or articulated perfectly towards him.  So instead, they say these kind of things which I admit sound vague on camera.

Even if someone says that Tayshia is "blatantly lying", then I'm not sure how to explain the other women.

Everyone is so massively insecure this season, its ridiculous. Its like watching The Bachelor: The High School Years. Obsessed with virginity and giggling and making endless sex jokes? Being all nervous that people are talking about you? Catty Mean Girl gossiping and backstabbing? Its like the Laguna Beach reboot started early!

"I mean, its not technically true...but it would be cool if it was..."

Finally realized why Caelynn looks so familiar- she looks just like Britt from the Kaitlyn co-bachelorette season (and most of the other women in the house).

Funny, I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that actually think Hannah looks more like Britt - especially the perpetual pasted on smile. But I think that Britt might be a bit brighter.

This episode felt like 95 % manufactured horseshit.

I'm really unsure about who was lying and who was truthful. I guess time will tell.

The one thing I do know for sure is that I cannot listen to another season of "not gonna lie." Tonight's episode seemed like everyone was infected with the Becca virus.

I finally watched the last 20 minutes (phone call). It seems like Kirpa is still going on what Katie said. I think it’s a bad game of telephone line

Though Hannah G has said a little, she seems like she had stayed out of the fray.

And I must have counted at least a dozen "I'm not gonna lie"s coming out of everyone's mouths. Oh those crazy kids and their verbal tics. And why did Colton plant one on Kirpa when he knew she was going to be let go?

Looking forward to hometowns!

I felt like Kirpa was pushing for that last group date rose hard, and thought the best way to get it would be to throw Cassie under the bus.  Unfortunately for her, even if what she was saying was 100% true, it still didn't make Colton interested in her in the slightest.

I was wondering why "Never Been Kissed" was still even on this show.  There's no way she would take Colton home to meet her parents after a single kiss.  I mean, there was absolutely NO chemistry there at all.  When she self-evicted, you could tell that neither of them cared one way or the other.  She was a weird egg.

Caelyn sure has a filthy mouth when things aren't going her way!  Talk about the façade dropping on that one!

Hannah B(east) was my favorite, by far, this season.  Sure, she may not have been there for the right reasons, but I really enjoyed her tenure on the show.  If she were 20 years older...… 🙂
