While Dorito and PK are idiots for not reading their contract, and returning Lucy the dog to Lisa, I am surprised that this stipulation wasn't also stated verbally when the dog was adopted out. I have worked for years with an animal rescue, and it is not only in our contact, but we have the person adopting verbally agree to return the pet to us if for any reason it does not work out. That said, I think Lucy is very smart if she bit PK. I think Dorito also said she nipped the kids, which I don't believe as I think she would have told LVP PDQ if that was the case. 

Dorito was positively giddy when reporting that she had been robbed. Me thinks she was giddy at the idea of getting insurance money. How odd though, that the first Erika heard of it was days later, after Dorito processed the robbery by going on a hike in another state? Gee, I think if I had been robbed, even though obviously no one was home, I would be sticking close to my kids. But I guess that is what the nannies are for. 

Now, would you not think that most mothers, if their child called another child a weirdo in front of them, would tell the child that is not a nice thing to say? Not Dorito. I liked Cruz's answer that that was his face. And IMO, he is a far cuter kid than Jagger, who looks like his father. Poor kid.

Interesting season opener. I liked the beginning segments of various cast members at home, with their families, bare make up on. I do not like scenes where kids are playing in bed and there are cameras filming this happy gathering.  Has a false ring.

I do think Kyle is very thinned skin when it comes to LVP and actually, any cast member who may throw shade her way. She does not like it. She is probably more concerned about her image that LVP.  As if anyone in the world cares if LVP makes it look like Kyle wasn't supporting her new restaurant. All Kyle has to say is, oh come on, you know thats not true Lisa. Instead she carries on as if she was accused of returning a puppy !!

I enjoy RHWOBH but season after season, I feel I am being duped. When Dorit and Erika meet up it is clear they do not see each other unless they are filming Yet, they act as if they are in touch and besties all year long.  I do believe Teddi and Kyle are friends.

While I have always been a Kyle fan, I am not liking her defensiveness from the jump. And, I hate her arguments. Well, you don't know my grandmothers names, well you called me this first, well you did this.  Her arguments are very juvenile. Its always a retaliation to what someone else did first. Wish I had better examples but if you watch, you know what I mean.

By reunion time, everyone will be hugging and toasting to the future.

I do know what you mean but I have been watching the reruns they have recently shown from seasons 1 and 3; also I am a newbie watching VDP Rules.  I think LVP is a reality show master and Kyle is not, and this is her frustration that LVP is able to make her (and others) look bad.  Because Kyle isn't good at it and LVP is, Kyle comes out looking more petty and juvenile.  But I find myself agreeing with Kyle  in principle.

 I have a feeling about what happened here from LVP’s point of view.  Laws or regulations??  Rules of LVP Dogs. Not sure what is the law  in Los Angeles.

I adopted a biter, not good with kids dog. I was a long time customer of the Hotel and Salon and I have never adopted before.

Saw the dog in the adoption area and inquired.  

The owner called me back.  She told me he was not ‘really up’ for adoption.  Owner told dog was returned twice and she could not adopt dog out.  

Dog bit a little kid and a lady. 

I have the same dogs and why she even talked to me. These dogs are kinda rare and very expensive because of the grooming, high quality foods, care, etc. They are also needy.....like kids.  Not a dog you lock up and forget about for most of the day. If you are gone most of the day they might need a sitter or doggy day care.

She told me I could adopt dog. She said I had to sign extra paperwork releasing her of liability and acknowledging  full disclosure of the dog’s history since under her care.

But she was super panicky and kinda shouting at me. ‘I am not losing my business over this dog!’ 

There is a lot to take into consideration when adopting a dog. 

This is LVPs point of view.   You have a LVPD dog that bit your husband and small kids.  You even take photos!  You do not even tell LVP? Call LVPD?

You just rehome on your own when dog bit your kids???  This is very dangerous.

If I am understanding correctly this is why the dog ended back at another shelter. 

Probably bit next owner. Dorit didn’t even know what happened to the dog.

LVP found out when the dog got chipped. 

If it was anything like my situation this can ultimately hurt LVPD. 

It can also hurt others since the dog needs to go back to shelter.

LVP is on the hook for this dog. 

This is why the dogs go back to the original shelter.  Which is what LVP is saying. 

LVP is annoyed with their bullshit, lies and acting sneaky.

PK: Could have happened to anybody.

Nope! Just like LVP said.  You broke the rules and On Purpose.

You didn’t want LVP to find out about the rehoming......for whatever reason.

At dinner both had....o’ shit faces! These 2 cannot even adopt a puppy without grifting!

I’m confuddled...this epi begins wi5h a blow out between Lisa, Ken & Vyle. Then there s a two weeks prior...and so what? What the hell happened to percipitate that blowout? It seemed like we ought to know when the6 did the “Two week’s ago” shit, but no...is it just moi?

Was it one of Kyle's daughters who took a picture while he was asleep at the pool party?  I thought it was a really rude and mean thing to do.  Ken is elderly and a guest in Kyle's home.  He was probably bored out of his mind and fell asleep.  Why did Kyle and company encourage the young woman to post the photo online?  A classy hostess/decent mother would put a stop to it and tell her daughter(?) that it is a mean and nasty thing to do and to delete the photo immediately.  Did Kyle do this? No, she laughed, showed the others and encouraged her daughter to post it.  What a way to treat a good friend.

The break in at Dorit's house was real, it was a thing on Million Dollar Listing LA this season.  They had their house on the market with 2 of the brokers, PK was a dick to the agent of the person who was making an offer, so it didn't sell.  Then it was robbed a week later.  They took it off the market due to the robbery and they later caught the people who did it, it turned out that they were basically using open houses to case their next job.  Pose as a buyer, come tour the property and see if the house is full of good stuff, then come back and steal.  

I can't with Kyle.  She's always ripping into LVP about how she's not there for Kyle and yet when she knows that someone that is supposed to be one of her closest friends is just a month or so out from the unexpected death of their brother, at the same time that they are starting to get a new bar open and (though it can't be referred to), are going to be filming a show, she comes out loaded for bear when Lisa mentions that Kyle wasn't at the TomTom party.  Instead of just making a comment like "Remember, I just got in from x that day? I'm sorry I missed it, it sounded like fun/the pics were amazing!" she basically throws a fit and storms out because LVP is somehow coming after her and she's not having it.  And then when LVP apologizes to her and explains that she's just had a lot going on with her brother Kyle seriously looks at someone she calls a friend and says "I've had stuff going on TOO LISA!"  Girl, bye.  

Also, let's talk about her face.  I know she preemptively said something to Teddy about her left eye being bigger, but I do not for a minute buy that she has some random, unexplained "maybe brain tumor, maybe botox" thing going on.  That eye is wonky as fuck and she either got bad botox or had an eye or brow lift and it didn't heal all the way or something.  It is noticeable in her interviews, too.

The blow out with Ken/Lisa/Kyle that opened the episode was followed by the "Two Months Earlier" screen and then a dive into the action starting this season.  It's like what they've done with the past 2 seasons of Southern Charm: tease the big throw-down of the season, then rewind to the start of filming.

If this dog story is all that we're getting this season, a la pantygate & lategate, it is going to be painful to watch.  So glad NYC is coming back in less than a month.  And if that dog really did attack PK, that dog is a hero.  Or maybe she was secretly working for all the loan sharks PK owes money to?

He's got years on me and during this yawn of an episode, I was close to the same position: Head back in total abandon,  jaw slack (and making  those bizarre noises that happen when you're in that floating state -- hearing the voices on TV, but not quite fully present  -- and there's a snuffling sound somewhere and you're thinking, "Must be the dog dreaming - isn't she sweet? -- with that snuffling piggy noise? -- Wait... Moment of the episode for me: the photo of Lisa and her brother as young children. The sense of what she lost was perfectly captured in that sweet image. Two cheeky kids, back to back, and decades later, he's dead by his own hand.  Must be a devastating loss.

When Kyle was fussing over the fact that one of her eyes was looking bigger than the other, I noticed her eyes during the first season. I was surprised she didn't address the issue then since she's addressed every other malady she anticipated.

I definitely can picture the dog nipping at Dorit's kids as I believe Dorit would have no problem with her kids mauling the dog, dragging it about. Kids that young need a specific type of dog.

I agree with PeeKayyy's t-shirt look reminding me of the Downey commercial.  ALL I could think of! Agree that LVP is the best player and "actress" at this franchise. Kyle needs to let her go. It's true Kyle seems immature and stunted age-wise at the height of her "stardom." Rinna's boobs and skeletal figure=yikes! Hamlin Ha-didn'ts=go away! Not interested! Teddy's son peeing outside the pool and Erika laughing and saying "it's ok! Finish up" and laughing it off was cute. I think Erika is on her defense with grown women/adults but when it comes to kids, her down-home roots show. I've never disliked her. I just REALLY dislike her style. So expensive to look TACKY. Denise Richards seems cool and I agree I'll have to double-take all season long between her and Teddy- very similar look with them and both attractive women. 

Why does it seem like Kyle's walk has her hulking around spread-legged? She needs to work on a more feminine walk. A little bit with Teddy too...I get that she's fit and muscular but her look is just that- muscular thudding around. I always think a woman should walk like a woman and I appreciate when my hubby reminds me to turn my feet back INward as I walk lol. JMO. LVP has aged amazingly.  I'm sorry what she went through wher brother. Sounds like they were close😔

I'm all in agreement Dorit's "robbery" story was almost word for word Kyle's story. Seems like a scam and never would I leave my children for a trip like that. My babies *are* my "spiritual awakening." I'm glad also with dog-gate that LVP was tough on the poseurs at their lunch & said it should NOT have happened! I see Kyle's point with LVP but we are ADULTS here and friendship tests should have expired in middle school.  Who gives?!

I don't like Kyle's house. Its too cold and modern, and looks like she's trying too hard. Her old house may have been large, but at least it had a cozy feel and some character. Kyle is, and always will be desperate for the attention her mother tried to get for her. She also has to appear that she knows all. For example, her bringing up  C Thomas Howell/Charlie Sheen. Kyle obviously hasn't kept all those "old" BH mommy friends. I wonder why. I did like her haircut though.  

I liked Denise and thought she fit in well.

We've already seen more of Tom than we did all last season. He looks even older and more shrivelled up. Kind of reminds me of a turtle.

PK is just too greasy and slimey for words;a perfect matchfor Dorito.

I lie Teddi but hate her house. Again, no character and feels totally opposite of what I'd expect her fo have.

Please PTB, no more Hamlin spawn, although they should run the names of the plastic surgeons used by the HW in the credits so the general public knows who to avoid, and blame for the poor work.

Not surprised Brandy resurfaces due to the smell of LVP's blood in the water. I would love to see her go head to head with Er-yuck-a and Dorito. She would definitely put them in their place.

No, they should not pick up a stray on the side of the road (unless it is to bring that stray straight to a rescue). I’ve picked up a lot of strays on the side of road (I used to live in the rural South). And my current dog was a stray found on a dirt road (we didn’t find him- he was brought to a rescue and we adopted him). I would never want any of those precious strays to end up with someone like Dorit and PK.

God, Dorit remains the worst. From the dog to that stupid visor at the pool party to her husband’s shaved hands and arms (really, that’s the grooming he’s going to focus his energy on?). As many have said, it’s explicit in every contract for adoption that you return the animal to the rescue. That’s why the name of the rescue/shelter stays on the microchip and can’t be removed. Dorit acts like she missed some tiny line in a 100-page contract. It’s also just common sense- if a dog has behavioral problems (and I’m still not convinced this dog does have true behavioral problems because ANY dog can bite if put in the wrong circumstances), you don’t rehome the dog yourself. You bring the dog back to the experts who can figure out what’s happening and find a more suitable home for the dog.

I actually think Lisa was relatively calm about it. And I don’t think that Lisa’s employee was overreacting in the slightest. When you work in rescue, you see the worst of humanity. You deal with defenseless animals who have been abused, dumped, starved, etc. And you deal with the reality every single day that, no matter how hard you work, you can’t save them all because people suck. It’s heartbreaking work. I’ve fostered dogs. And one did end up with a friend of mine after I spent months getting her healthy and working through her fears. If I found out that dog ended up in a shelter, that person would not be my friend any longer and I probably would tell anyone I could about it.

On a completely other superficial note, did anyone else fear when we saw the opening shot of Dorit’s house with people under the covers that it was just going to be Dorit and PK? My mind immediately went there and I was so relieved it was just them playing with the kids. But I need brain bleach now just from the thought of it.

I thought the same thing what was the she doesn't follow you she will never see it... she was posting it to make fun of him not for any other reason and just because they don't follow you doesn't make it any less rude. its not like they couldn't find out from someone who does follow the twit

GMTA — I was just thinking of that scene in Villa Blanca in Season One of lKyle  and that idiot Taylor acting like junior high mean girls with the stupid jelly comments.  I think Kyle has always been annoyed that LVP got a successful spin off while I seem to recall that Kyle was always pitching spinoffs for herself.

how did this get flipped on Vile? Lisa does the same thing when she likes someone she lords it over Viles head .... remember her you have been replaced with the whole Dorit thing and now Teddy is super close with Lisa and all the sudden lisa is talking shit about vile to teddy again like she did with Dorit... its lisa that has ONE good friend then shits on her old ones ..... Am I the only one seeing this?

It has been clarified that the $5k Penalty is if you rehome the dog without going thru VDPD. Still, that is probably why they wanted to keep it quiet because PK didn't have the $5K.

The $5,000 penalty fee is if you DON'T return the puppy to Vanderpump Dogs and just send it anywhere.

The idea is to prevent people from adopting a dog, deciding it doesn't work out, giving it to someone else, where it doesn't work out and then said pup being dumped at a kill shelter.

There's no penalty fee if the pup goes back to Vanderpump Dogs because it didn't work.

The penalty fee is supposed to keep the dog safe from just being pawned off to anyone.

Which it appears Dorit did.  Pawn the possibly 2 dogs off to other people.

 I would like to take a moment and publically apologize for being a dumbass during Dorit's first season and defending her.  I was wrong, all of you were right.

I have seen references by the ladies that they don’t feel that Lisa is carrying her weight and that regardless of the fact that her brother died, she has to fulfill her contractual obligations.  One could argue that Lisa is the biggest draw on this show (she is for me).  It’s not so easy to say, “Im out” when she has a lot invested in the show and the show her.  

I did not know what I expected, but it is really sad to see Lisa legitimately “down”.  She let herself get visibly drunk on Vanderpump Rules as well.  And while drunk Lisa was funny, that is a stark contrast to the very in “control” Lisa, we usually see.

Kyle is selfish and should not have played the “I’ve got issues too” card; however Mauricio does does have a fairly massive (legit/serious) lawsuit pending against him right now...so she does have some stress.

I hope they push Dorit on why she didn’t simply return the dog to Vanderpump Dogs at the reunion.  I don’t expect much from the ladies.

We’re going to hear about this dog story all season.  Thank God NY will be back soon.  They blow up and move on to the next blow up.
