AwesomO4000 April 28, 2015 Share April 28, 2015 So... no teetotalers around here? ;-) Not entirely. I have maybe 4 or 5 Smirnoff Ices a year or so. An occasional (once every few years) White Russian or Sloe Gin Fizz, but otherwise... Alcohol generally "kills" my taste buds (when I drink alcohol, I can't taste food that well). My perhaps unfortunate thing is... I like desert. I love cake, ice cream, ice cream cake, cookies, brownies, etc. etc. I'd be better off with the alcohol really, but until my recent metabolism change (damn getting older), I didn't really have a problem. I'm working on it - trying to up the exercise a little, but I was already exercising regularly, so better to say that I'm trying to keep up my exercise. Fortunately I'm catching it early, and also fortunate is that I generally do moderation... i.e. one large piece of cake lasts me 3 days. Good thing alcohol doesn't taste like cake to me or I'd be in trouble. That's okay though... I'm already weird. When I'm tipsy, I'm generally just weirder and somewhat incoherent on top of that. The drunkest I used to get was my later college years due to this awesome drinking game me, hubby, and all our friends used to play called 3 Man. * Funnest drinking game ever. I would even drink beer (Ew!) to play that if they didn't have a wine cooler for me. I was good at it, too, because even though my brain doesn't always get my thoughts across, it's still working enough to catch the necessary signals to be good at that game. * Pretty good description, but one missing instruction: last person to do either of the "actions" (finger to the nose or thumb to the table) also drinks a sip. And in our game, the 3 Man always wears a hat - usually a brightly colored baseball cap - and this gets passed around to each new 3 Man. Okay, geesh just pick a letter already... see annoying enough already... drunk me is also long-winded, just somewhat incoherent... Kahlua K? Link to comment
