I have been watching this show for almost its entirety and I "thought" Whit and Buddy were MORE than roomies at one time. I recall when she was having problems with Lenny....she and Buddy (who was dating Heather at that time)were chatting in the kitchen and she was needing another pep talk about men and relationships. Buddy said "you're a FREAK IN THE SHEETS"! I had to rewind and hear that again....you know the mouth breather and mumbler that Buddy can be! He was listing her pros to make her feel better. Did he mean that another guy (Lenny?) told him that or he knew from experience....that I do not know. I just assumed they had to have had a roll in the hay before, either drunk or not, before he moved in upstairs and became her roommate? But the look on Whits face after he said freak in the sheets, she was glowing!

I could of sworn in season 1 the episode that she let Buddy in her pants after 3 months LOL

I wish I could remember where I read a post by a high school classmate of Twit that mentioned the relationship between her and Babs. She spoke of discord of some sort. It doesn't take a huge leap to imagine how a gentile southern belle would react to having an unmannered uncouth daughter - regardless of size.

Regarding past history of Twit and Buddy.  At one of the season end wrap up shows she turned to Buddy and confronted him about whether he had ever had the hots for her, and she looked stunned when he quickly answered in the negative.  So, there may have been sexual contact of some sort but it was most likely instigated by Twit e.g. her twerking up against him on the cruise, inviting him to get in bed with her, helping her out of the shower when she was unclothed, asking him to kiss her...but it doesn't seem to have ever been reciprocal.

Did she ever move to NC (or him to Chicago?). Meeting someone who lives 12 hours away and visiting them a few times doesn't qualify as "dating", does it?  ( to me it does not )

Oh come on now! If we held all couples to that standard, we wouldn't have the television gold mine that is "90 Day Fiancee" or one of its many offspring. Or all those catfishing episodes of Dr. Phil!

Just wow on this episode....I dont understand why anyone would want to look like Whitney...I have friends with the same condition she has and none of them are obese like she is...what a whiner...and oh by the way to me the word Southernbelle is another name for bitch...…...

Awfully rich of Whitney to accuse Todd of doing the alleged "choreography" wrong while she sits by the side of the stage leaning against the handrail she needs to climb up a foot tall platform.

Since she only moves her arms, she might as well sit down and do it.
And that was a pretty sparse attendance there.

Was she planning on using swimming as a substitute for bathing? I think a my 600-lb lifer did that just last week.

I can only hope the RV Park had shower facilities and the no-shower bit was just for drama.

I think Todd would have let us know if she was reeking.  He's my favorite this season.
And the sooner Heather stops obsessing over Buddy, the sooner she'll get her life back.
Same for the sooner Whit realizes it's not her problem or her business, the better for all.

Todd gives no fucks and I am here for it. To me it looks like Whit did a whole lot of clapping and Todd did all the dancing....sabotage indeed.

Amen.  Let's change this to My Big Fat Immobile Friend, starring Todd.

If Todd thinks he can be  some kind of famous dancer, have at it. If he hates Whitney so much he can get off the show and pursue his dreams.

I don't think he has delusions that he's a great dancer, but at least he tries, and can move more than his arms.
And I think we know that her dance class only exists for this show, isn't that what folks found?

Agree. Two sides to this IMO, these people famewhore themselves out to be one of Whitney's social barnacles, but being downright mean about someone's facial features seems kind of unnecessary.

I think Heather, Ashley and Buddy's GF are attractive.

Did anyone else notice her hairline in Chicago or maybe Columbus ? It looked weird, like she has a lace front or sprayed on some "hair in a can".  Again, it was all about Whitney - everything is about Whitney, its seriously getting old. I would not be surprised if after this season we don't see any more of Todd, he no longer is the ass kisser that Whitney desires in her life. The funny thing is that everything he said is the truth.  I can't even imagine what the stenchmobile smelled like.  Oh and Heather.... bitter.. party of one, your table is ready.

Yes! I think it was that as-seen-on -TV spray-on hair that comes with sort of a template for a “natural” hairline. She sprayed it on way too thick.

She could very well have said that. Given all that we have seen in the intervening time it is probably another of her grand delusions. The most recent being that her enormous gut are really abs and should be on display as frequently as possible.

One thing we do know now is that there never was a relationship with Buddy. Whitney certainly heavily implied it for a while (including the pretense that she and Buddy were living together alone in her house, and a lot of coy interviews about how he was her "perfect man" but it was "complicated" and  the relationship hadn't come to "fruition" yet.) Her fans got all excited about what an adorable couple they'd make and how lucky she was that Buddy was so cute and how lucky Buddy was that she wanted him. Then Buddy started seeing Heather. Whitney's jealousy was palpable, even after Lennie arrived on the scene, and Buddy basically told her to cool it.  At the first part of the season 3 finale, the host tried to clear things up once and for all. She asked Buddy pointblank to tell her if he had ever been romantically involved with Whitney or if he wanted to be. Buddy squirmed for a minute under Whitney's laser stare and then said, "Uh, no."

She glared and pouted. Heather looked smug. He went on to awkwardly explain that he was "more conservative" in his approach to relationships than Whitney was and that she was great but . . . just . . not . . . .

Buddy has had Whitney firmly friend-zoned from the beginning. I don't think anything has changed in that regard, in spite of his random flirtatious remarks which I think are entirely producer inspired.

Here, have a clip.  Watch him fend her off.

I just saw a clip from this episode on the MBFFL FB page. Buddy's new alleged girlfriend is actually sorta pretty. Heather is average --- not a raving beauty but not ugly by any stretch of the imagination. Why EITHER woman would want Buddy is beyond me.

He was a pizza delivery guy, and then a bartender (and an aspiring comedian, we were told but have seen no evidence of) until he went into rehab for alcohol and cocaine addiction.  At the time this season was filmed, he was out of rehab and working as a pizza delivery guy again.

Per his IG page, he apparently was a musician at some time in his youth.

Twit has no excuse for not washing up. Buddy could have hooked up a hose at the campsite and washed down Twit while she sat in a lawn chair like I’ve seen on an episode of My 600lb Life. In the process, Buddy would never again associate camping with doing blow

I think Whitney's getting ass wings.  If you've been watching My 600 Lb Life till know what I mean.

Her ass has never looked worse than it does this season.  It's repulsive, and not just in a "hah hah look at the fat girl waddle" humorous way...  but rather in a way that's so disgusting that it makes me angry.

She's 35ish??  Just imagine what she'll look like at 45, if she makes it that long.  She has a crippling food addiction.  People with normal eating habits tend to gain wait in their 40's, as activity and metabolism slows down.  She's a speeding train, aimed directly at the washed out bridge.

I've missed a couple of episodes the last 2 years, but I'm really wondering something. How does Buddy constantly seem to have serious girlfriends? He's an alcoholic and addict and never seemed to have a real job except for bartender? I'm really scratching my head over this one.

It seems like the Big Girls Dance Class has taken a back seat to the Buddy drama. I guess Whitney still does the classes sometimes . What does she do the rest of the time that she isn't filming this trainwreck? I remember her working at the radio station. Does she do anything else than chase after Buddy?

This is less puzzling than the couples on 600 Lb Life, where a bed-bound 700 lber can break-up with a guy, and the next day, she's got a new man.

I don't think she's had a paying job (other than this dumpster fire) since the start of My Big Fat Fatuous Lie. The radio station and the minor league baseball thing were unpaid internships.

Why doesn't she get a job teaching English? Doesn't she have teaching experience from Korea? Surely there are openings for teachers in the greater Greensboro area. Hmmmmmm.... something odd here.

She'd have to go back to school to earn a teaching credential. Those ESL classes in foreign countries require little more than a sentient being in the way of credentials.

Some states are desperate for teachers & have developed a program where someone can teach full time while attending classes in educ theory & practice eves.

Do you really see Twit making that much of an effort?

Ah. I didn't realize that about the foreign teaching. Thanks Dot. I figured it was because she couldn't have a full-time job AND nap several times a day AND make multiple Starbucks runs. Not to mention I don't think anyone would let her work for them wearing overstretched leggings, a sports bra, and flip flops. And stinking.

You have no idea how many relationships exist only because of a measly SSDI check every month because the able bodied person would rather sponge off next to nothing than find legitimate work.

I should add that Twit claims she is credentialed as a Montessori method teacher. I know very little about that method, but I doubt it is very stringent if Twit managed to finish it.

Random thoughts
📌 Heather & Tal are so boring that the only things the prod. co. could think of to keep them in the loop while Twit toured was to send them out dress-shopping & purple-hair tinting.
📌 Are we thru playing Hide-the-Buddy? Is the new game Hide-the-Chelsea?
📌 What was that peculiar warbling Chelsea & Buddy indulged in while sitting on the park bench? Is that some kind of heterosexual mating ritual I don't want to know about?
📌 Then at  BGDC Chelsea sez she turned around & noticed Buddy dancing. She continued, "Woof! Yikes! But we had a good time." Is that a good comment about his dancing? Or bad?
📌 While sailing down the river on a tour boat, out of the blue, Twit, Todd & Buddy decide it would be a swell idea for the gang to trek off to Alaska together. Worst backstory since Glenn's bonus paying for HI.
📌 Alaska. The Redemption Tour. Where Twit expects "hiking, biking & bears." Where she can redeem herself for the HI 8K fiasco. Where our hopes she gets eaten by a bear will be dashed.
📌 Twit's IG fans are outraged at Todd's sarcasm & heartwarmed by Buddy's compassion. They seem to ignore the fact that  Buddy, brought along as driver, left 2 ppl with a time-sensitive commitment hanging for some 12 hours.
📌 Twit voice-mailed Buddy 17 times. That reminds me of Lenny: "You phoned me TEN times!"
📌 I wonder what those gamblers thought when a couple hundred 300-# women descended on the casino?
📌 Twit's dancing while seated cracks me up. She is such a sham. No wonder Todd seems bored with the BCDC grift.

Ugh, the flies. That's the stuff of nightmares (and plagues).

During this scene I got to see a lot of Whit's body that is often covered, like her legs, and boy, those flaps between her thighs are awfully worrisome. Her frame just isn't built to support that, and it was a little shocking to see as she was running through the sand. I know we got a good look at her during last season's Hawaii debacle, but this episode was a little darker, showcasing struggles that seem to be catching up to her.

Todd calling Whitney out is the only reason I'm still watching this mess.

I haven't watched yet so this is all preparation for when I do.  To the bolded.  I was once about 80lbs overweight which compared to Whitney is nothing but it was NOT comfortable being that heavy.  My body hurt and it took losing at least 20 before that got better.  I don't know how she does it.

I am not saying this to be mean but realistic.  I hope her parents have planned for her care for when they are gone.  She won't make enough from this show to support her for the rest of her life and with her lack of motivation to lose the weight she is going to have significant issues.  I will be shocked if she is NOT bedridden at some point.  Her quirky personality will not be cute over 50.  She will just be irritating AF.  She will not want to be in a position where she has to depend on the kindness of others to manage day to day.

Re the looks of the other participants.  I think they are fine looking.  After all the Bravo shows where everyone is thin and pretty it is nice to have regular people on tv.  Her friends also seem nice.  Enablers but nice.

I think Ashley is quite stunning (and also the voice of reason, often) and I hope she gets back to a healthy weight and finds a new group besides this one. She is truly likeable, as is Tal, and Todd is hilarious. I just think she's beautiful especially compared to this ragtag band of losers.

To add to this (I did the same job she did in Korea).

You get hired for that job by being a native English speaker and a college degree in anything.  That's what Korea's laws require for that job.  Most people also get a TEFL or TESOL certificate as well.  I didn't get one but I did go through an actually rigorous training program with my employer in Korea that was immensely valuable.  Other schools just shove you in front of kids and just see what happens.

If she is certified to teach she would be qualified to teach ESL classes for private institutions or even a really desperate community college or school.  She could also probably substitute teach in public schools.  The problem is there is no way she would keep up with all the work teaching requires and I'm not even sure she knows English well enough to go beyond the "My favorite animal is a bird" level of English you're teaching small children in Korea.

I've been to Alaska five times - going again in July.

One popular schtick that most of the tour guides seem to repeat is:  "You don't have to be able to outrun a bear.  You just have to be able to outrun the slowest person in the group.  Look around and find that person, and run AWAY from them if you see a bear."

I'd be sticking to Whitney like glue.  Even at 72 with a knee replacement, I could outrun her ANY day.

This episode cemented for me that the entire show is fake. Touring for a fake class, what does she say to the people who show up to this farce?

They found an extremely troubled food addict with a bunch of loser friends.   To be fair some are worse than others, but that is iffy because they choose to appear on a show like this.

They only reality I see is that Whitney is about as clean as her cat's litter boxes.

If Buddy was actually missing, he was probably visiting E.R's for drugs. The ol backache routine.

Whitney is a beached whale and complains about Todd's dancing?     I have to give Todd props for his quip about visiting a buffet because Whit still had a little bit to fill in the shower.

As far as her wanting a relationship and a child, I can't sympathize with her. Her personality is as unappealing as her unwashed body and she refuses to fix anything. If there is any blame, its on Babs who gives me the vibe that Whitney was never the little Southern Belle princess she wanted.    Now she sits around and every episode whines about Whitney needing a man.

What Whitney needs is to get healthy both physically and mentally. As a parent I would never ever endorse this show as her parents have while their daughter is going to end up being buried in a piano crate.

You are my Hero!  I couldn’t agree more that it’s her personality as well as her unwashed body that is keeping the men from lining up to get with her.  And you nailed babs!  I wish I could give you 1,000,000 thumbs up!  Preach!!!
