I'm just now watching season 3 on Hulu and had almost forgotten how much I enjoyed seasons 1 and 2.  

I'm up to the episodes where the question of whether Monique was drunk when she wrecked her car and where Sherman has apparently ghosted Gizelle.  Good stuff.  

I resisted watching this franchise for quite a while just because it seemed to get rather tepid reviews and didn't generate the fanfare of the other franchises.  One day I was bored and decided to give it a try.

Bravo really should promote this franchise more effectively.  I find it far more entertaining than BH or OC, which have become as stagnant as the fish in Dorinda's guest room.  

Hell, I may even pay to watch season 4 "live" via Amazon Prime.  

Bring it, Bravo!

Karen is doing the same thing with Csndiace she did with Ashley. Trying to be an elder giving advice or something. It’s annoying. Also I hate candiace. The only person I feel bad for is her brother. If her mom hates an innocent party so much after all these years she needs help. Maybe she shouldn’t have taken the dad back if she couldn’t get over the affair? The mother is a monster. I want candiace & her mom off this show. Her mother makes me feel sympathy for Candiace & that makes me mad.

I ate at that shit BBQ restaurant that Chris in no way owns last week. I had a happy hour around the corner & it was raining so I went there because it was close. The service was awful but I did laugh when my friend came back from the men’s room & said there were no paper towels. I just waited a beat & said “so Chris really hates providing paper products?” 

And Karen is awful but in my opinion Great Falls is considered nicer to live in compared to Potomac (also very fancy) so Giselle can miss me with this dumb cell service joke (& I love her). And she’s talking to Robyn who lives almost in Baltimore. I mean only Giselle & Monique live in Potomac & I thought Giselle lives in North Potomac & that didn’t “count”. But what do I know? I live in the dodgy part of Arlington (Ashley lives in the medium nice part).

I do think Candy (sorry, writing her version of her name is just too cumbersome) has the right to invite her half brother whether he is illegitimate (Candy's mom's word) or not.  He did nothing wrong.  Should she have done it off camera?  Yup.  But a part of me thinks she did. 

Does Candy's mom have a right to have a say in the wedding?  Yup.  She's paying for most, if not all, of it.  If you want to have total control, then take 'your' check book out Candy.  What a dysfunctional relationship these two have.

Well since that piece of work that is Candyass’s mother makes me feel a little bad for Candiace - and as noted, that make me mad since she’s annoying.

What a dysfunctional relationship and Candy needs to not be monetarily dependent on her mom (I don’t mean the wedding).

But her mom is the biggest loser of the two after lashing out about her ex’s son - Candy’s half-brother.  He’s not to blame about how he came into the world and how many years has it been? That’s a lot of years of hostility that hasn’t been dealt with.

I want to have the tissue concession at Candy's wedding.  And everywhere else she goes.  Not that they ever get wet with actual tears.  But still . . .

Methinks they’re going at it “like bunny rabbits” because for whatever reason, he no longer has his side chick. Once he finds another, things will go back to how they were. Robyn needs to get a clue. And I agree about the hair, I hate it too.

It didn't matter when, where or how that conversation took place, Candiace's mother was going to react the same way. Candiace's brother had nothing personally to do with their father cheating on her mother.  Candiace's mother never should have married the man if she was resentful of the fact he created this child with the outside woman.  I suspect he was never allowed to bring the child home and Candiace was never allowed to spend time with the boy growing up.

Yes!!! Great Falls is so much nicer than Potomac! It has all the wealth, but nicer scenery. Hell, I’ve been to homes in Bethesda that rival anything I’ve seen in these Potomac houses. Giselle is crazy. You don’t move to Great Falls because you can’t afford Potomac. You move there because you like Virginia better than Maryland.

This is why I think couples should pay for their own weddings and if that means City Hall and sandwiches, so be it. Candiace and Chris had, I think, $20K of their own money to spend. They should have had a $20K wedding then. Candiace's mother is always going to use her money to control her. That's what she signed up for. There are some parents who will give their kids money and shut up. Candiace's mother is not one of them, and I'm sure she never has been and never will be. Is she wearing a white dress to the wedding in the preview?

It does sound like Candiace wasn't allowed to deal with her brother, which is really fucked up, because Candiace's mother appeared surprised to hear that Candiace had a relationship with him. Candiace's brother is as much her sibling as her sister is (IIRC she and her sister have different fathers).

Candiace's mother is bitter as FUCK. This shit went down 35+ years ago. It's not the brother's fault. If she's that mad now, with a divorce, another husband, and another child under her belt, I can only imagine how mad she was when it happened. And she had a right to be, but in that case she shouldn't have married the man.

Plus, didn't they have a big wedding? The family knows the deal but not the rest of the guests. "This is my brother." "Oh, OK. Nice to meet you. Where's the bar?" That's all it would be.

I skipped a lot of this. Ashley and Michael are very unappealing to me, so I fast-forwarded through them.

I agree, Milania is so cute. We also saw Monique do something really right as a mom when she praised her son for being kind to his little sister.

I also liked when Milani was combing Monique's hair and she was pulling it, and Monique explained "I know what you're trying to do but you're hurting Mommy." Her kids (including the third one, Chase) are really adorable.

Robyn and Juan have always been fucking. Not sure what the difference is now - like Funky Dineva said, do y'all even go together for real? If she's still asking questions about what they're doing, they're not "in a really good place" - they're in the same place, they're just fucking more. And I contend that Juan is only there because he doesn't have any better offers.

From what i have seen, i would say Monique is a good mom. She's very hands on, in the right way, guiding her kids in how to treat others. We don't see enough of that on these RH shows, so kudos to Monique.

Milani is a cutie-patootie and I loved her hairstyle.  Monique is a good hands on mom.  I wonder if Chris and his mother have made up yet or if she gets to see the kids.  Didn’t like Chris telling Monique that she needed to apologize to Sherman/Gizzard…as many times as that heiffa’s talked shit to Monique?  And to tell Sherman that she will apologize?  He would have gotten a smack upside his big assed head for that.

Gizelle's girls are the bomb.com. I'm not a fan of hers but I do like how she interacts with them.

I'm not buying what Ashley and Michael are selling. She really wants this baby though, that's the only truth I see. 

Candy Ass is still annoyyyyyyyinggg as hell. Cry me a river. The whole wedding production is a waste of valuable funds. The Mama drama is about to get a lot more stupider (90 day fiance reference). 

Chris seems nice enough but he definitely wants Monique to stay in her box. I'm glad she admitted she was wrong in the Sherman fiasco but again, seems more about Chris.

Me too. Methinks Gizelle's daughters know who Gizelle is. Gizelle appears to be a loving mother and she and her daughters do seem to have good, strong relationships, but I suspect they also know their mother is, as I like to say, Jane Toussaint from School Daze, 30 years later.

I suspect that was as much about the cameras as it was about Karen. I'd be curious to know how much contact they had in between the reunion and this cookie trip. And did any of them who call themselves her friends go to the services for her parents?

I'm with @Vixenstud - it's up to the person grieving to decide how she wants to grieve, and if Karen decides that doesn't include Gizelle (and if it were me, it wouldn't), then Gizelle just has to deal with it. I mean, I been thought Matt is a Bravo production assistant but if Karen wants him there with her and not Gizelle, that's that on that.
