I really wish somebody would've pointed out the major difference at the table. A civil violation is very different from a criminal violation, as is the case with Trump. The Department of Justice determined that there was criminal intent in Cohen's case. Pres. Obama's fine was proportionate to how much his campaign raised (first billion dollar presidential campaign in history), so the amount the campaign was fined is irrelevant, really.

The Department of Justice determined that there was criminal intent in Cohen's case. Pres. Obama's fine was proportionate to how much his campaign raised (first billion dollar presidential campaign in history), so the amount the campaign was fined is irrelevant, really.

Yeah, I'm tired of her "what about Obama" going unchallenged every day but that would require research.

I also don’t understand wh MMs comments go u checked by anyone.  Does they not say anything in their pre meeting about what they will bring up  on the show?  Does she take them by surprise and they don’t have the facts to respond?  Earlier comment was correct that essentially all campaigns end up with some campaign violations, including other republicans and democrats but they are usually minor things that happen when you’re talking millions of dollars and donors.  Obama’s violations were civil and most were technical things and were in historical,proportion to the amount he raised.  They were NOT criminal violations and someone on that show needs to make sure lies and inaccurate info isn’t going out.  Also I’ll say that MM rarely “tells” us anything about trump supporters that I haven’t  already read somewhere.  She forgets that most progressives actually read news and articles that provide us with info on both sides.

I was thinking the same thing when MM brought up comics who allegedly made homophobic jokes in the past.  She mentioned Stephen Colbert.  Not one panelist called her on that!  What was the joke?  I wish one of the dipshit panelists would've brought up Kevin Hart isn't hosting because of not only making homophobic remarks, but making violent homophobic remarks against gay kids!  Big fucking difference!  How could you have an awards show that might bestow an Oscar on one of the actors from Boy Erased and then have this homophobic asshole host the show?  Would he come out carrying a folding chair?

I wondered that too. Last week, of the shows we saw they all seemed to be walking softly around MM.  I wish you would tweet them. I'm thinking Sunny would be your best bet.

I just tweeted sunny. I didn't include my Stephen Colbert  because I didn't actually hear it, but I asked if they could better fact check  A and M.  Include the Mueller and  Meghan comparing Trump vs Obama regarding campaign finance issues.

Not to mention, it hasn't been 2 years yet, Mueller wasn't appointed until May 2017. And Abby, I know it was before your time and all, but ever heard of something called Watergate? It took about 2 years for a resignation and a pardon, which pretty much ended things. If only we can get so lucky this time.

Obama worked with her father on projects and had a lot of respect for her father but it is Obama who ruined everything.  I had to laugh when she literally went all the way back to someone in the 1700 or 1800.  Loved when Joy said she used to date the person whose name escapes me.
