He's the funniest one in the garrison?

LOL ?l try to imagine what funny was to Cas. Like what is the humor style if angels? But I would have watched a buddy comedy episode with Uriel and Castiel.

So nobody mentioned that the guy siren from "Sex and Violence" was on friggin' Suicide Squad????

He had a beard and he was in a few scenes, but still, he was there!!

Its funny to me that a lot of these people who've done an episode or two of our show have gone on to bigger and better roles (on bigger networks, and cinema aaand friggin' Broadway) and yet, sadly, J and J have not had the same luck.

As as much as I love the show, I kinda do wish they guys could do something else. ????

So, I just started watching S5 of White Collar and it's quite jarring to see Crowley basically trying to get Neal Caffrey to sell his soul, but Crowley seems to have misplaced his suits. Wait, this was two years back now, so S9? This must have been during the time Crowley was addicted to human blood?  ;)

ETA: It's funny because of course when I first saw Mark Sheppard I was like, "Hey Crowley." And then I realized the character basically is Crowley without the red smoke and demon eyes.

I was watching some movie on one of the premium movie channels.  After the movie it rolled into one of the soft core porn series that there seem to be a lot of now. This porn series had Chad Everett.  They got to a part where he was at the office and insisting that this one guy try on this brown bomber jacket. It had a picture of the devil on the back of it. Chad's character was going on about how Lucifer was so popular right now and that's why they chose it as a logo.  I had to wonder it they filmed the episode right after his Supernatural episode. The episodes were filmed two years apart, but it was kind of weird.

Mark Sheppard seems to bring Crowley to a few of his roles. I think his character James Sterling, on Leverage, was really kind of similar.

Just saw Danay Garcia aka Ellie from Trial and Error on "Fear the Walking Dead" ..SHUT UP, it's terrible I  KNOW but now I watch it just to make fun of it. I mean it's not even hate watching because it's just so bad.

Several years late, but I've been watching Person of Interest the last couple of weeks, and it's fun to see a fair number of SPN alums. Mark P. was on it and both Amy Acker (Andrea Barr, "Dead in the Water") and Sarah Shahi (Constance Welch, "Pilot") play roles that I think get more prominent as the series progesses. Plus the Lost connections are out in force, too.

The actor who played Luther the head vampire in "Dead Man's Blood" is in the cast of new series "Eyewitness", which starts Oct. 16 on the USA Network.

This is off-topic, but I feel obligated to add the following for the slashers out there:  the show also features a young male couple.  There is a trailer posted on the EW website;  there is some NSFW action:  http://www.ew.com/article/2016/08/24/eyewitness-usa-exclusive-trailer

Rewatching Season 11, in "Thin Lizzie" the kid (Jordy) whose dad got axed in the driveway is Mike (Finn Wolfhard) from Stranger Things.

I watched Thin Lizzie last night and came here to post about it. That kid is really good.

Charles Malik Whitfield (aka Hendriksen) was just on the season premiere of American Horror Story; he played the husband of Angela Bassett's character.  He was in a very quick scene - had 3-4 lines, but it's the first episode so maybe he will show up again.

OMG. I just started watching my TNT recording of "Do You Believe in Miracles" and saw the last minute of "Charmed" and who should I see? Misha Collins in what I think is a small role in an episode called "They're Everywhere". He looks and sounds so young!

I actually saw a bit more of the episode and he was the main guest star. I've never watched Charmed and only turn it on as I'm waiting for the Supernatural episode while I'm on the treadmill. I happened to start my workout early yesterday so I saw at least half. I checked and that episode was from 1999! I often recognize voices first because actors change their looks for roles but in this case, I recognized him before the voice because it's so high in comparison to Cas. I know Misha lowers his voice for Cas and I know his real voice but this was even higher!

LOL. That's why I said that he sounded so young.  Often a person's voice lowers over the years. :)

I started watching Longmire over the weekend.  Who should I see in the first season, but Mr. Trixter himself!  It was a bit part, but the whole time he was onscreen I kept expecting either someone to stab him with a wooden stake, or see him snap his fingers and change the "channel".  Then in season 2, first episode we have a two-fer:  Rita (Brigid Brannagh) from "Plush", and Meg v1.0 (Nicki Aycox), both again in bit parts.  The final episode I watched last night in season 2 had Dr. Garrison (Christopher Cousins) from "Bedtime Stories".

This reminds me that I need to finish up Longmire. I loved the first few seasons on A&E, but haven't watched the Netflix seasons yet. Next after Person of Interest!

I'm really enjoying it!  I thought I had tried the series before and couldn't get into it, but now I see I was confusing it with Justified (which I couldn't get into).  I still haven't finished Person Of Interest!

I just finished the Neflix season and I liked it. The show always struggled with some of their plotting--I mostly watched it because of the cinematography and it totally reminded me of home--but I think it was better in that regards in the last season. Henry's storyline was very well done, I think.

It's kinda funny you couldn't get into Justified, there's a few casting crossovers with this show as well. Also, you'll be seeing Bobby soon too!

I loved Jim Beaver's role in Justified. And Art gives my favorite quote about that character (Art provides many of my favorite quotes from that show):

Spoiler

Art Mullen: First thing we’re going to do is we’re gonna acknowledge that this guy’s awesome.

Rachel Brooks: What?

Art Mullen: I mean, he shoots Theo Tonin, fakes his own death in a spectacular fashion, pushes a guy out of an airplane while he’s flying it, parachutes into Harlan County with enough coke and cash to jump-start the economy of a small country, and then he has the balls to get a job in law enforcement, not once but two times! He spends a couple of days riding around with you [points at Raylan] while you’re looking for him, and now he’s run off with a hooker that’s half his age. That’s some bad-ass shit.

I laughed out loud

I totally read that quote in Bobby's voice and yep, works for me!

Except that wasn't Bobby talking but someone else talking about Bobby. But, Art Mullen is a sort of Bobby-like character, so that too can work! ;)

Yep just hit that episode.  Bobby can't quit being a hunter can he?  Another two-fer, also spotted Ghostfacers' poster boy Ed Zeddmore (A. J. Buckley).

Oh, I'd forgotten about Ed. Six degrees of Supernatural here...both Ed and Harry did stints on Justified, but Harry didn't make it to Longmire. Must've been after they broke up the band? ;)

I watched the pilot of "Designated Survivor" tonight and saw crazy Frank Deveraux as a general trying to take over the presidency from Jack Bauer. He should know better. ;)  This is the first time I've seen Kevin R. McNally in another role. And he's just as radical and crazy. Typecasting? LOL

I remember McNally as Jack Sparrow's most loyal minion in the Pirates of the Carribean films and all the way back to I, Claudius.

What did you think? Is it worth watching?

I try not to judge pilots too harshly anymore. It wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either. I'm going to give it a chance.  The Martin Riggs character made me think of Eliot from Leverage.  Then later, the two of them in the car reminded me of Eliot and Hardison on Leverage.

I think I've watched way too much Leverage. Clayne Crawford was a guest on Leverage for a couple of episodes. It's probably why I'm going to give Lethal Weapon a chance.

I remember Kevin R. McNally from a few different British shows where he played a couple different dirty detectives--Life on Mars is his most memorable role to me for some reason. I remember thinking Supernatural was a rather different role for him...apparently I was wrong on that. ;)

Clayne Crawford is fantastic on Rectify! I was really excited to see him get such a high profile role.

Actually, I read an interview from him a long time ago where he was asked if his family was excited to see him on Rectify, and he was like, lolz they don't watch that stuff, they don't even know about it, they're busy watching NCIS:  Antarctica or something. Well, he didn't say it all snarky like that, but that was the general idea. Anyway, now he's on a shoot'em up network show, so hopefully they're watching!

After watching the Lethal Weapon pilot, I'm still not so sure about him as Riggs...but he made me care about that a-hole Teddy so much that Teddy is by far my favorite character on Rectify at this point, so I've got hope.

I feel kind of bad for Clayne Crawford because he's got this smarmy former frat boy kind of face that makes him unlikable on sight -- BUT he actually comes off as a smart and decent guy once he opens his mouth and you see his body language/mannerisms and stuff. Poor thing is apparently a nice person trapped in a dudebro body.

We recently purchased the Amazon Firestick with Kodi so I've been watching some older shows. Sliders 2nd season episode titled "El Sid" featured JDM as Sid. Sid was a particularly despicable character who beat his girlfriend and nearly got all of the sliders killed.

If ever there was a case where network interference ruined a show, it's Sliders. It had a good concept, was well cast with actors who got along well and had great chemistry because of it. Then the network decided that the show needed more action and a sexier actress than Sabrina Lloyd. John Rhys-Davies and Sabrina Lloyd were fired and Kari Wuhrer was hired which ruined the chemistry of the cast. Rather than exploring the concept of different Earths, they focused on a main villain of the Kromaggs. Wuhrer in particular, was difficult as she was horrible to the crew and viewed them as lesser citizens. It was completely unwatchable by the end.

Because it's JDM, not JCM.

So true!  It was such a good show until it completely threw away it's concept.

I loved that show the first couple of seasons. Then the Kromaggs happened. I also loved the Quinn/Wade dynamic which the network didn't like. I hated Maggie and would hope that she would get left behind.

It seems that it is on Netflix also.

Honestly, I like everything BUT Kevin R. McNalley's character on Designated Survivor. Having seen him as Frank, I LOVE the actor.  I LOVED Frank.  His character is the 'loose canon General' on Designated Survivor.  A cardboard cutout villain.  President Keifer can't fire him soon enough for me.  It's the writing, BTW, NOT, the actor.  If they don't pinch off that plot line quickly, I don't know if I can tolerate the show.  As a military person, I can tell you that NO ONE gets to the rank of General Officer and has that little respect for the Constitution of the United States.  Some of them are not nice people, some are even gross.  But I've never seen a one of them with a treasonous bone in their body.  So, for all military everywhere --- a big raspberry to the writers for McNalley's character.  But, I'm glad the actor has work.  Just... either fix the character or let's get Kevin a better job.

We loved sliders!

I just saw Christopher Heyerdahl/Alistair in the new Van Helsing!  The character  is deaf and it appears he doesn't speak so we don't get to hear his voice.
