Episode "But Not Forgotten". Bobby is inspecting a body or something particularly gross. Eames who's pregnant says, "You keep doing that, I'm gonna drop this kid right now."

I love that scene! Another one, after Eames' return from her maternity leave when says in "Pas De Deux" how they need the bomb squad when they find a suitcase in a restaurant's bathroom...only for Bobby to reach in and haul it out of the trash can without a care:

Eames <dryly>: "It's good to be back."

The episode "Probability"...Goren and Eames are investigating the murders of homeless people who suspiously have these high insurance policies on them. They call an expert ( played by the guy who was Cousin Larry on the tv show "Perfect Strangers") to figure out the documents. While he's at their office, he's exhibits all these quirky mannerism. After he leaves, Eames says to Bobby, "I didn't know you had an older nerdier brother." The line itself isn't that funny but what is, is the bemused looks she gives while watching the guy throughout the scene.

Hee. That was classic Eames. But I also liked when Wally Stevens (geeky perp's name) came by and was peppering poor Alex with questions. It isn't such a memorable quote, but I liked the way Alex told Wally, "My partner would be happy to answer your questions." It was as if Alex was fighting off wanting to strangle Wally.

Alex on the psychologist and shrink couple that play mind games with each other in "Shrink Wrapped" [to Deakins, after he mentions this couple going for counseling themselves:

Alex: "These two would eat a marriage counselor for lunch."

Alex subtly throws shade at Frank Goren, who ambushes her outside of work in "Untethered":

Frank: The last time you saw me, I was in a soup kitchen line. Not my finest moment."

Alex: "What about where I didn't see you, at your mother's funeral?"

That's one of my favorite all time episodes.

It always amazed me how surprised those two were upon realizing their daughter was the culprit. I guess it was like Bobby said: They thought they raised the perfect child.

But with the mom and her affairs and her father with his, and their mind games, is it any wonder that Camilla was so messed up?

S10, Ep. 8: "To The Boy In The Blue Knit Cap":

Goren <after the Kizmate secretary leaves after questioning, to Eames>: "Pants on fire?"

Eames: "Totally."

Samir Doss to Goren: "Are you crazy?"

Goren: "The jury's still out on that."

Captain Hannah <wondering which suspect to tackle next> "Granola Boy or the ex-pornographer?"

Eames: "The ex-pornographer. I owe him a dance."

Just saw this scene seconds ago on ION. Still like it, especially KE's delivery with her one little word, "Totally" and their shared grins.

Also, just now:

Samir Dos: "She [Danielle] was with me all night." (Danielle supposedly has another boyfriend, her company, Kizmate, co-founder)

Alex: "Now that's kismet."

From S7's "Betrayed", which just ended on WE, one of the better (IMO!) S7 episodes. This from M.E. Liz Rodgers:

Alex: "Judge Feld needed help romping around with teenage hustlers."

Rodgers: "Who doesn't?"

Leslie Hendrix's dry delivery was great.

Come to think of it, I also liked her exchange with Logan in S5's "Dramma Giocoso:":

*Rodgers talks about an opera that Lennie Briscoe once took her to and starts singing opera*

Logan: "This is the first time I've envied the dead."

And from the series finale, "To The Boy In The Blue Knit Cap", which popped into my head:

Rodgers to Goren/Eames: "Wait, you're thinking twin number one killed twin number two?"

Eames: "We think."

Rodgers: "Well, so much for brotherly love."

I had a few issues with Rodgers, but overall, I really liked her and her brand of snark. Glad she was able to do both the Mothership and CI (since she seemed spread too thin also doing SVU, hence that part of the franchise having its "own" M.E.).

What issues did you have with Rodgers? I loved her, she was one of the franchises best recurring characters, she was one of the few to appear on all 4 NYC L&O shows, great ME and she had some of the best lines as well, loved the ones you mentioned as well as some others, her line about free javelins to Lennie on the mothership remains one of the franchises best one liners, and her reactions to Goren getting up close to the bodies were funny as well.

I love Rodgers 99.9% of the time. The ONLY TIME I didn't was when she blabbed Goren's confidential (and it would have been as Rodgers is a doctor and it's Goren's family) info about Brady to Ross. Like I told you, I think Goren screaming at her was actually deserved and she got off easy there. But then they seemed to get past it, so...

I guess I should have said "issue" instead of "issues".

Yeah I didn’t like Rodgers doing that either, I found it incredibly OOC for her to do that, it was just to further the soapy plot along. I didn’t think she violated doctor-patient privilege though as Goren wasn’t a “patient” of Rodgers, he just asked her to run a test. That whole storyline was just stupid, and that was another example, Goren did have the right to be angry but he went over the top with it and was lucky Rodgers didn’t file a complaint.

Ross was the one Goren should’ve been most angry about, once again he was a bad boss, going behind Goren’s back to get information. Goddamn I hated Ross, he was so arrogant, condescending, overbearing and self serving, I felt nothing when he took a bullet. He made me miss Jimmy Deakins badly, and it’s always irritated me how much focus Ross got while Deakins was severely underused.

Oh, but he was. Remember him confronting Ross in his office? I actually loved the part where Goren just stared Ross down, gave a menacing smile, and did the tiniest raise of an eyebrow. I thought VDO did great there.

On this, we are in complete agreement. I did come to like Joseph Hannah. He was closer to a Deakins than a Ross. While it was probably foolish to cast Jay O. Sanders since so many still remembered his Harry Rowan from the S2 premiere, "Dead", he was a good actor, and a captain with a lighter hand than Ross. Too bad he only got one season.
